I love their phở! Best phở in the Eau Claire/Menomonie area. The broth is really light, sweet, and packs a punch!(you have an option of ordering their ox tail on the side, it falls right off the bone and adds a lot of flavor to the broth of the phở) Their egg rolls are really flavorful, although I wish they were a little bit bigger. If you’re a spring roll person order their grilled pork spring roll. Best spring roll I ever had honestly. The crab Rangoon is really tasty but has a different taste to it. Instead of it being on the sweet side, it’s more salt and meaty with crab which I love! All in all a great place to eat! I used to go to egg roll plus for my Hmong/Asian cravings but now it’s always going to be noodle tea house.

Noodle Teahouse is a Vietnamese restaurant in Eau Claire, home of the former Ninja, and now serving some Chinese-American and Thai dishes. They’ve changed owners about 3 times, and I think this iteration of ownership is very friendly. Their phở broth is the richest in town. Get the combo, although I dearly miss the shrimp phở-it saw me through a lot of winter colds! The chicken laab is ok, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the egg rolls last time I had them. Haven’t scoped out any of their other Thai dishes. However, GOFORTHEBANHMI. Incredibly good, and for $ 6.50 for a footlong, it’s sandwich nirvana. I always get the pork with its soft baked French bread and amazing garlic buttery spread with pork, carrots, and jalapeño. Honestly, they’re probably my favorite sandwiches in Eau Claire. Their blended peach or passionfruit yogurt drink with lychee pearls is my go-to drink. Very good. And wonderful vermicelli. In short, I hope this Vietnamese place sticks around, because it’s something different in Eau Claire, and their banh mi and vermicelli are excellent.

Drat… After coming to this restaurant for the last year(really since it opened) and enjoying the quality Vietnamese food I walked in tonight and saw a sign: «Gratuity of 15% for four or more» Huh? I didn’t recognize the woman behind the counter. Then a non-Asian guy seated me, handed me the menu and it hit me like a ton of bricks — the original owners of the old, wonderful, focused restaurant had sold the business. The name is still the same as is the décor, but I braced myself. The menu is now that default Asian Midwest amalgam of Chinese(sweet n sour chicken, stir fried rice), thai(pad thai, curry), and Vietnamese(bahn mi and phở) cuisines all forced onto one menu. Not good. The few patrons tonight were all non-Asian. The new menu has lots of «add ons» which ups the price. Ox-tail is now an add on for phở. Egg rolls are an add-on for vermicelli(bun thit) dishes. After I ordered a Jasmine milk tea with tapioca pearls, the new owner(?) gave me a sample of «golden milk tea» which she said«A lot of people in China like this». The drink was good. My «bun thit» was also good, with tasty lean pork pieces. I’m still very skeptical and so disappointed the restaurant has changed hands. I wonder why. I’ll head back for a bowl of phở and see how the new owners do.

Best Asian food in town! Fresh and amazing! The best egg rolls and some how the best cream cheese wontons.

I really like this place. Authentic, friendly, and an all around positive vibe. I brought my brother here after he got back from spending 3 months in Vietnam and he said it was the most authentic vietnamese food he’s seen in Eau Claire. They have this hilarious little book that explains the food to people who are new to it, which is entertaining and fun. Also the bun mi special is $ 3.50, incredible. The service could be a little better but I’m not going to hold that against them because the food makes up for it. My favorite dishes are the Grilled Pork Vermicelli, Rare Beef Phở, and the Bun Mi Special. Check this spot out yo!

Coming from New York City, I was a little skeptical and curious at the same time but I must say their Phở and Gui Cons were legit. The broth in the Phở tasted rich and complex, the noodles were al dente, and the meat products tasted fresh and not frozen. Next time I am in town, I will definitely be back!

My friend and I had such high expectations for this place based on all the glowing reviews. I am sad to say we were sorely disappointed. Our waiter was extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. It took over 20 minutes to get our appetizers, at which time we had to remind him to bring our drinks. The appetizers were brought without plates for each of us. When asked for them, he brought them in a stack and put them on the table rather than place one in front of each of us. Our main dishes came shortly after starting to eat our appetizers. The pork spring rolls were pretty ok and we enjoyed the cream cheese wontons. Each came with a sauce, but the way they were put on the table we weren’t sure which sauce went for which appetizer. We each had the vermicelli, which just really wasn’t our thing but that isn’t the restaurant’s fault. However, the biggest problem was that the chicken in it was mostly nasty gristle. The egg roll that came with it was AMAZING, though. It’s a cute little place and would probably come again to try something different, but since the service was so bad, neither of us will be back. I should note that it wasn’t overly busy when we were there. We did notice that someone had called in an order, which wasn’t ready when he got there and the poor guy had to wait another 20 minutes before it was ready. This one is a miss and probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had.

The taste might be too authentic for general American palate. The overall experience was OK but not sure I will go back but that’s me. I can see how others might just love it. Difficult one to review, this!

Best Vietnamese place! Food comes out fast and it’s delicious! Always wanted to try more other stuff on the menu but their phở is aways what I end up getting. Although their service is kind of bad, I don’t really mind. They do come and check up on you but you will see them constantly munching.

Fantastic, authentic Vietnamese food in Eau Claire! The fresh rolls are delicious, as are the fried spring rolls. We love the bun noodles with pork and egg roll. The banh mi sandwiches are tasty, but I missed the pickled daikon radish. The fresh lemonade is refreshing when I don’t want the caffeine kick of the iced coffee. They also have a variety of bubble teas and smoothies. Someday I look forward to trying the phở… If I can pass up the bun!

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have ever been to, and I am Vietnamese. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and the prices will make your pocket book smile as well. I would eat here every day if possible. I have tried several of the dishes, along with the boba tea, and everything has been superb.

This was the first time I’ve had Vietnamese food and it was so good! I’ve always wanted to try phở, so I had the phở with veggies. The portion size was large(I had a regular), so I was able to take some home with me. I tried boba tea as well for the first time and it was delicious. You’ve got to try the strawberry flavor! I will be back to try the milk tea — heard good things about it. In fact — I’ll be back to try lots of other things on their menu, which had so many options!

This is definitely one of our favorite little places in Eau Claire. I’ve had days where I stopped in for both lunch and dinner. We’re still working our way through their menu, but my favorites so far are the spring rolls, the grilled pork sandwich, the house special sandwich and any of the phở options. The phở is incredible here. Super fresh ingredients and quality cuts of beef make the phở here stand out above the rest in Eau Claire. As an added bonus, the staff is always friendly and the service is great!

Unstoppable Phở. Regular size is huge and so tasty. Just like they do it in Vietnam. My wife loves the spring rolls. Banh mi are legit as well. We are so happy with their food and friendly atmosphere!

My favorite dish is the«Noodle Teahouse Special», which is a phở dish. It’s definitely authentic, delicious, and just heavenly. If you’re looking for the best phở place in town, this is it. Look no further, just come here and enjoy. I try to visit as much as possible,(or just whenever I get a phở craving) but after eating here, I refused to eat any other restaurants’ phở. This is it, my friends. Though other than the phở, Noodle Teahouse has amazing spring rolls and several other dishes. A friend of mine tried a beef dish and said it was delicious. I’m sure it would be surprising to find something to dislike here.
