Locked doors mean nothing!
Checked my sister in, and they sent to her a room that someone already checked into and a man was sitting there with his bags. They have codes for the door locks. SO we go back, get a different room. Not excited about rooms. There are curtains but nothing to block light in the early morning. My sister, traveling alone, is concerned that there is not a lock or latch on the inside of the door. So she shoves a chair under the knob… which gets moved sometime between 9 – 10 am and we hear someone mumble «sorry» and close the door. No knock, no call, no idea who it was. She is in town for a photography workshop and traveling with 6K of photography gear. It is ridiculous that one cannot count on having a secure door.
The view is nice.
The room is modest but well priced.
The gate to the water walkway is marked «for guests ONLY» and then chain locked with no way to open it.
Dear management, please get organized. And you really should offer a credit or discount the students at the photography workshop who are very stressed out to be staying with you right now. It is not ok to trap out of staters there knowing it is too late to switch hotels.

Totally solid & great for the price. Our two bedroom cottage was really nice
