So, it’s not just me. I am reading these reviews by Rich’s former clients who have also left Denver and miss Rich’s talent & expertiese. Rich gave me an honest evaluation of what style suited me, then used his talent to give me the best-​looking hair of my life. He’s not just a gifted hairstylist, he is one of my favorite people EVER. plus, he delivers Los Angeles or New York quality cuts/​colors at about 25% of big city prices. and his highlights! the best. go.

I first tried this salon after I read the stellar Unilocal reviews and will now add my own. Rich has great taste and is honest with me about what will look best. He’s always right! I get so many compliments on my hair and the price is affordable. I highly recommend his talents.

Please do not waste your time or money. This establishment was very unprofessional and was not clean. I have only written one other of these in the past 5 years. However, when I want to save others from a poor experience that was really negative, I will write a review. I am not going to go over everything here however, they were extremely unprofessional. They did not do what I asked and when I let them know they refused to do absolutely anything. I had called asking for Rich and when I got there, he passed me to his assistant. When I asked kindly for the stylist I had originally went here for, Bryan became really angry and rude to me, stomping around the store. Then they did not do what I asked. In 20 years of getting my hair done it was the absolute worst experience I have ever had.
I truly wish all small businesses the best but I want to save others when it has just been such a terrible experience.
I also noted that they knew I was going to give them a negative review when they would not fix my hair so they have two new reviews out here with 5s.
I do wish them the best honestly I just believe we all deserve to be treated better, especially when you spend 160.00 for a cut and partial color.

I started visiting Rich about 10 years ago in his old place, Lunar Eclipse. Then I moved to Boston and have not yet found anyone as talented, generous, funny, and allover terrific as this guy. He cut my hair during my visit home in February and I absolutely loved it; I’m holding out for another cut until my next trip to CO in August. That’s just how good he is.

Since leaving Denver, I’ve lived in cities where a girl should, in theory, be able to get a good haircut and highlights. New York, Boston, San Francisco. Inevitably, I end up regretting it and then figuring out how long I can wait before finding an excuse to fly home to see Rich and have him undo the damage.

If people search by neighborhood, they may not find him, but a haircut and highlights with Rich is better than any swanky Cherry Creek salon.

Complete strangers have complemented me on my hairstyle, that’s how good they are!
