I don’t know why everyone has been giving this place such a bad rating as right when you walk in its a no non sense, how many and please sit down. The Phở is some of the best I have had in a long time, I used to go out of my way to eat phở 79 but the flavor is lacking their.

Vina is a-ok in my book(as my rating appropriately states). Their Phở is always consistently delicious, but their appetizers are a hit or miss. I love their imperial roles… somedays. Other days, they have come out burnt to a crisp or mushy and dry(who knew this could be a combo?!). Vina is a nice standby whenever I am in Sloan’s Lake area looking for a pick me up. Their service is fast and friendly and their price per portion ration is unheard of(in a good way). Leftovers are pretty much guaranteed at this place, so ask for a to-go box. They will pack it full for you!

Phở wasn’t as good when we returned, tasted a little bland. The bun bo hue is served with the wrong noodles, totally destroying the bowl.

Chicken Wing Review Only :) With a Chick Fil A possibly coming soon to the hood, I still think these wings are a winner. Add the stuffed chicken into the mix, some beer a deck overlooking Sloan Lake. Winner Winner

Have I had better Phở? Yes absolutely. Like others have said this place was dead. There was one other couple in the entire restaurant and they were seated right next to us. We might as well have been on a double date. So awkward. I order a small rare steak. I should have paid the $ 0.50 for extra meat as I counted only 4 pieces in my bowl :(I would go here again if I had a craving that couldn’t wait the extra 10 minutes it would take me to drive over to Federal for a fuller tastier bowl.

Quick review: –Good food +1 star –Nice ambiance +1 star –Good service +1 star –View of Denver over the lake +1 star (Slightly) longer review: It seems that a number of other reviewers have had problems with the service at Vina Phở– that was not my experience. The server was friendly and helpful. The food was good, but not really distinguishable from many of the other Phở places in town. The prices are reasonable, and all in all Vina Phở offers an opportunity for a pleasant dinner.

I love this place. I live nearby and have seen other places come and go in this spot. I have really enjoyed this Phở place. I eat vegetarian phở, and theirs is delicious. They always have fresh vegetables and things to add to the phở(jalapenos, etc.). My husband gets the beef phở and always loves it. We also get the salad rolls(i.e. spring rolls) and they are always delicious. What makes this place stand out though are the people. It is run by the KINDEST, SWEETEST people, and I really enjoy seeing them. Plus, you can’t beat the view of Sloan’s Lake and downtown Denver. And when the bill comes, you will be surprised with how inexpensive it is!

Great broth, but average rice noodles. The beef balls large but sliced thin and they were pretty delicious. Service was promptly acceptable, although not overly friendly. Medium size Phở was too large for me to finish. I’d go back.

They don’t want customers. We walked in at dinner time on a wednesday night and the place was dead. There were seriously 3 people who had already gotten their food. That alone is a bit unnerving, but the server didn’t even acknowledge us. 25 minutes later we were the only ones in there and STILLWAITING. We didn’t get water, menus, a smile, or a «be with you in a sec». Plus, who wants to eat phở in a hotel lobby? We left and had a delicious phở dinner at pho95 instead.

This used to be my favorite Phở place. I live right down the road and would eat there sometimes two or three times a week. Then in early July they changed owners or management, not sure which. Now they charge more and give WAY smaller portions. Additionally, the broth is now greasy and sad. The service seems to have tanked right along side the broth. There is one man who apparently works every shift and he’s not exactly friendly. It’s a 50⁄50 chance they’ll answer the phone, but that’s probably because their one man wait staff is busy serving his teeny tiny bowls of Phở. This isn’t meant to bash the new Vina, it’s more an attempt to shame them into bringing my old Vina back.

I work down the street and decided to go here for lunch. I ordered the phở without any meat and I was pretty disappointed. I mean it was definitely edible and I’ve had worse but I wasn’t satisfied. My broth seemed SUPER greasy for some reason and completely lacked flavor. It was also the smallest portion I’ve ever seen at a phở place. The service was fine and the restaurant was definitely clean with a great view. I will probably not be back again but perhaps the other items on the menu are better?

Delicious with beautiful views of Sloan’s Lake and downtown! Delicious phở, delicious noodle bowls, and my favorite summer rolls in Denver. The flavor of the broth is comparable to the places on Federal. And the summer rolls are the best in Denver. The server is always so nice and welcoming. The inside is always clean, and you can’t beat the view. From the inside tables, you can look out over Sloan’s lake and see downtown Denver in the distance. It feels like vacation. Or you can sit on the patio facing the lake. I go here once or twice a week. I freaking love this place!

My wife loves phở. I’m so-so on the whole deal. Well, until we found this place super close to us. I don’t know why I like this better than others, and I know it’s probably not the best, but I’m not a phở connoisseur. I’d like to eat in the restaurant, it looks nice. And of course it’s off Sloans Lake, best seat in Denver.

This is good phở for this neighborhood, a nice, clean place overlooking Slaon’s lake, taking a seat on the patio in warm weather is perfect. The Phở is really good, nice authentic broth and plenty of great basil, peppers and lime to season to your like, good

Another place I’m lucky to have on the local! My experience with Phở is limited, so maybe you think my opinion on the subject counts for nothing. But I know what I likes, and I likes this place’s Phở. I disagree with a few other reviewers– I think the broth is complex and delicious– I can taste all the different spices used in making it. We love coming here for a quick lunch, and can feed myself for the rest of the day on leftovers if I order a large. I also really like the crispy vegetarian rolls. Great prices($ 7 for a huge bowl of food) and great service, with the option to sit out front on the patio and enjoy Edgewater’s beautiful view of downtown. Phở purists may disagree, but it hits the noodle spot.

Not that great :(A couple months ago I tried this place on my way to a luncheon meeting, I ordered a phở bowl to-go. I got to my meeting only to find NO broth. Big bummer! Isn’t phở all about the broth??? So, this week we came back for try 2, for a sitdown lunch. Both my fiancé and I ordered phở bowls, only to find them extremely bland. Thank goodness for the sriracha on the table that sort of saved it! Robin got the rare steak, I’m pretty sure it meant ‘rare’ly add steak. I on the other hand had plenty of chicken in my phở. I actually would have prefered less, that too had NO flavor. The view of the city behind Sloans lake might be the best this place has to offer. Overall, I would not consider this place anything to write home about. After two tries, I am confident I won’t be back.

Can we say totally bland and dissapoionting? The service was on point. We got the egg rolls, a mixed grill plate, and Brisket Phở. The atmosphere was very nice, but the fact they played a very odd version of Under The Boardwalk on repeat that had these really annoying cars honking in it. First we will start with the Egg Rolls, They were nice a crispy and came with a good ammount of veggies! Thre presentation was great as well. The Phở, now this is where the issues start for us. The Phở was so bland, the meat was so over cooked and dry that it felt like you were eating saw dust, not good. There was a good ammount of onions in the Phở but I think that’s what they were making up the lack of flavor with. The Mixed Grill plate came out to us and the presentation was not appealing at all. The meat was not hot or even warm. The thin excuse for a pork chop was not grilled, it was cooked on a griddle. We will be goin back to our«regular» joint Saigon Phở Grill as the food comes in huge portions, hot and fresh!

Bear in mind this was my first phở experience. We stopped in today to give it a try. Service was very friendly but he naturally got a little slower once the place filled up(but he was the only server, so kudos to him!). I ordered the phở with brisket and rare steak. I wouldn’t order the brisket again, but I wanted to give it a shot. I know brisket is a fatty meat, but this had big chunks of fat hanging off. Those could’ve been trimmed off. Steak was tender and tasty. The broth was flavorful. Rich and meaty and salty, with a slightly sweet spice(tasted like 5 spice to me). Delicious. I ate waaaay more than I needed to, but it was so good. The interior of the restaurant is swanky and the prices are excellent(I paid $ 5.25 for a small! Pretax), which was definitely enough food for any man or woman. Since this was my first phở, I have nothing to compare it to, I know I really enjoyed it, but I don’t know if it was true to phở. I’ll need to eat around a bit and then see where Vina Phở ranks, then adjust my rating accordingly. But for now… I’m fat ‘n happy.

We stopped by Vina after a nice walk at Sloan’s Lake yesterday. I hate phở, so my review is of their shrimp friend rice. Pretty large portion but a bit too heavy on the black pepper. My husband did have their phở and enjoyed it. He said it compared to the places on Federal. He ordered a large and it was a LARGE. It was huge. They had a pretty large menu so next time I’ll try something different. The place was hopping and the view is lovely. We’ll be back, I’m sure.

Pretty good phở, meatball for the ball-n-chain, tendon and rare steak for me. Not much tendon and it was cut up into tiny squares — I don’t care for fishing for my tendon. A bit skimpy of the veggie plate; ½ of a lime, 1 single blade of bent-up culantro, some sprouts, four slices of thin jalapeño. No ramekins, or fish sauce and only one napkin. The undercooked noodles were in a wadded up clump but were OK after a soak in the hot broth. A very sterile, albeit clean interior, OK service — no great shakes. A little more pricey than a Federal sketch joint, $ 14.60 plus tip for two smalls and a coffee. But if you are the neighborhood, it would work. Previous reviewer liked the full bar. I don’t know, there is so much liquid with phở, I just don’t have room for beer. Meh, phở is one of those foods I really don’t care for with beer. I know, go put a cold washcloth on your head. I think we are all spoiled from you-know-where.
