This is a combination review. So when I was younger I always remember my mother and grandmother buying their clothes for work at Pennys. Now coming from North Central PA, well this was the middle selection between high end Bön Ton and Sears.(Lycoming Mall hasn’t gotten any better since). So I decided to find some inexpensive fall fashion skirts for work. I went on line and saw what I wanted. Online said it was available in the store. This is where the review begins. We get to the store and well … the skirts weren’t there. Actually the plus size section was very disappointing. Are plus size people not suppose to look good or professional? Not according to Stacey and Clinton. First it was really hard to find a sales person. When we finally did, the person was nice but not able to use the stores system. She claimed it was too hard to work. When I asked if I could order the skirts in the store she said she didn’t know how to do it. So I went home no skirts. I ended up ordering them on line. Now the second part of the review. I am returning the items. Now I had to pay for shipping … standard no big deal. But to return, I am now required to pay for that shipping too. I order a lot on line and this is the first time I have ever had to pay to return something. I thought about returning it to the store but the fine print said it would depend on the store policy as to whether or not they will take the online return. It is the same company. Needless to say, I have taken Penny’s out of my shopping repertoire.
