Kimberly’s Nail Studio

I was very impressed with Kimberly and found her studio to be very nice. She was ready when I arrived and had some great music playing :) She really spent some time on my disgusting feet and I was very pleased with her attention to detail. I also got a gel french manicure and she did an amazing job with the tips. I would definitely visit her again and highly recommend her to anyone who asks! Very nice lady who knows what she’s doing. The studio is in a great location, too.

I purchased a groupon for gel mani-​pedi services from Kimberly nail studio. After calling several times to set an appointment within a 3 week period, I was finally able to get in that fourth week. This was going to be a preBirthday treat for me, so I just KNEW I was going to be pampered and love every minute. Well, when I arrived I found Kimberly to be very impersonal. Barely any eye contact or a friendly greeting. Her «studio» was unkempt and uninviting. I found her to be rushed (she had a client when I arrived for my appointment and kept looking at her watch WHILE she was doing my nails) and unskilled. I got French mani pedis with Gel and tips on my fingers. Pedicure was just Ok. The finished nail product left me with wavy uneven gel coating and lopsided nail tips. The total price including the $ 40 groupon wound up being around $ 130 dollars. I will never ever go there again! Definitely wasn’t worth the 2.5 hours it took, her poor skill or the Price!

I went here with a groupon and got a gel manicure and a pedicure. She did a good job, and was detail oriented. There were no «slops» on my hands or feet. The gel manicure lasted the two weeks it’s known for. I had no complaints at all.

Bought a Groupon for gel manicure, but only wanted a regular manicure which I let her know when I made my appointment. the price of a regular manicure is $ 20 less than a gel manicure). I get many manicures, but thought I would give this a try since I was having a facial at the same location. While Kimberly’s personality is nice, she was very condescending when discussing the products that I use which were recommended by my dermatologist, Dr Crutchfield.
I arrived exactly on time for my appointment. She still had a client that she was chatting with. She did not acknowledge me as I sat outside her suite waiting for them to finish up. I waited approx 10 minutes before her client finally left. When we started, she did not do anything to my cuticles, but did shape my nails somewhat. I did not want polish (just my personal preference). She rubbed my hands with cream for a couple minutes, then her next client arrived, and I was done. Unfortunately, i usually tip well when using a Groupon, so she received a 25% tip on the price of a regular manicure, and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Good thing for her that I didn’t want the gel manicure because her next client would have been waiting quite a long time! I would not recommend Kimberly for a regular manicure. She may do a great job on gel manicures and pedicures, but I won’t be going back to find out.
