My son requested to go here for his birthday. My husband thinks there are not quite enough options for meaty foods, say like with OCB. The rest of us are more into the fruit and the veggies. Num!

I really loved all the options they had. Started with a huge salad and then had soup and dessert. Very yummy! Good deal for kids, too.

Pros: it’s very clean, which is important when it’s buffet-style. Pleasant, bright atmosphere. Good parking and location. My kids love it. The salad bar is decent. Cons: The hot food, soups, baked goods, desserts are all meh, over-salted or over-sweetened or just not tasty. Also, I got a groupon for this place – actually it was a three-groupon package – and nowhere did it say that the $ 26.50 value can’t be used for children’s meals, only adult meals. I bought these groupons to use for my kids and me. I don’t appreciate finding out after the purchase that I can’t use them the way I intended. I’ve eaten at Sweet Tomatoes and Fresh Choice plenty of times and honestly, both of them had better food(even though Q. Cumbers is a lot cleaner).

Excellent salad bar, and multiple options for gluten-free diets. Healthy all you can eat buffet, reasonable pricing and extremely helpful staff. We enjoy the atmostphere and while crowded, not cramped. Fresh fruits, various sweet treats, and beverage options. Sunday brunch is also excellent. Even the most pickest if eaters will find something to enjoy. Children seem to enjoy having healthier options too.

Awesome buffet. As far as buffets go it had many healthy options and was very reasonably priced. I wish there was a Q in the northern suburbs instead of all the disgusting Chinese buffets here. Q’s just offers a great selection of foods to the point that I will drive out of my way to go there when I south of Minneapolis.

We stopped in for dinner on 9⁄24 and was pleasantly surprised at the selection of healthy foods we were able to choose from. Typically, we are very healthy eaters, so this wasn’t much of a change, but they offered so much more. I stuck to the salad bar, which is filled with fresh vegetables, fruits, and other goodies; it tasted phenomenal. The boy was able to build his own hamburger as well as choose from their daily selections, which included baked chicken, garlic roasted vegetables, bbq ribs, and mashed potatoes and gravy. This place is moderately priced and offers a wide selection of food. Will we be back? Maybe, one day.

We were looking for a really good salad bar and this delivered. Plenty of options: 3 types of lettuce, lots of veggies(all preservative free), seeds/nuts, cheese, many dressing choices including hot bacon and oil/vinegar. There were peppers of all colors, mushrooms, beets, carrots, edamame, garbanzo beans, hard boiled eggs, bacon, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and several cold pasta/potato type salads,…etc. If you are looking for exotic items you won’t find them here but there is still plenty to chose from. The bakery section had rolls and bread along with several kinds of soup. Hot food section: I had a piece of rosemary baked chicken that was delicious. I can’t speak to the rest of it. The dessert bar had soft serve, jello, fruit and toppings. Considering entrée salads are $ 10 – 15 at most restaurants, I think $ 13.25 is reasonable even if you just come for salad. If you are looking for a good salad, you won’t be disappointed. If you are wanting more hot food items, you might be? Still worth a trip! Emilio was very attentive to our section, clearing plates and bringing water when we sat down.

I’ve been to several of this type of restaurant all over, so I was happy to see a salad buffet to help offset the heavy foods I eat when traveling. The price was a nice change, the drink was included not extra as I am used to. The salad buffet choices were the standard fare, the dressings we the usual suspects. The did identify gluten free items clearly(not my issue but I know it is important to many). The soup bar was sub-par for me, only 4 choices. My local spot has 6 or 8. Only i pasta option an it looked blown out and the sauce looked insipid. They have a «hot bar» which had some chicken, pot roast, potatoes, and corn. They also offered some roasted squash and sweet potatoes. The worst item was a spinach«risotto». It was more like a spinach pilaf that was very watery. I didn’t explore dessert options as I had great options at my hotel room already. All in all it is a good place if you want a salad, but i you want much more look elsewhere.

Ok guys, reading some of these whiny bad reviews is pretty hilarious. Since when do buffets get compared to your favorites little foodie eating joints? Thats just lulz. I think this is one of the better buffets in the TC. Good salad bar, lots of options. Hot food is good, I like eating corn on the cob, chicken, chile, lasagna. One thing I do avoid is the pasta noodles, why do so many places boil them to oblivion? Not a fan of the meat sauce or vegetarian tomato sauce either. Like the ice cream too. Soft serve mmmm. Dairy Queen is king of that, but this stuff aint half bad either. Its a buffet, one of the better ones.

I’m a pescatarian so going to buffets sometimes sucks do to the lack of meatless food. This place is the perfect buffet, I can actually come here and leave full of healthy food. If you’re a meat eaters or vegetarian, you’ll enjoy it.

We stopped at this place on the way to the airport as I was hoping for something a little lighter before a flight. It is also conveniently located near the freeway not far from MSP Airport. The dining room was large and the whole place smelled clean and fresh. I was impressed at how fresh all the food was and also good quality. I have been to other chain buffets where this was not the case. The service was also fast and friendly. I will definitely stop again.

Its a giant salad bar. The park behind the restaurant is breathtaking, so Q Cumbers is like picnicking in a fancy buffet. There is a hot buffet with chicken, sliced beef, and cooked veggies. However most of the food is lettuce salads and cold pasta and veggie salads. It’s expensive for just being simple salads($ 13.50 adult). A nice, quick stop, but with so many incredible dining options in the Twin Cities area why settle?

I came here with a team from work and it was delicious. The bruschetta soup was really really good, all 6 of us tried it and loved it. My personal favorite was the wild rice mushroom rissotto. I wish they would have had salmon options because i only saw chicken and carnitas, both of which i’m not a big fan of but the wild rice and soup made up for the lack of fish entrees.

Came on Monday with my son and his friend because it’s 99 cent kids night. They barely ate anything anyways. I had a giant salad, which was good but nothing special. They standard salad bar fixings but nothing over the top or great, no artichokes, no cun dried tomatoes, no kalamata olives, no squash, etc. The hot food bar was pretty gross looking. Soup was decent. The soft serve was good but not a lot of toppings or other dessert choices. Overall mediocre experience.

It appears clean and neat. Food was undercooked. No meat selections. Dried chicken, uncooked fish. Salad bar had good selection but it was the same at 3 stations. Saw no pork or beef, unsure if that was on purpose.

Cafeteria food??? We went for the breakfast buffet and for $ 13.50 each, this was a rip off. Pretty small selection besides the salad bar and everything we ate was dry. There was no cheese in my dry scrambled cheesy eggs. My boyfriend got sausage and they were burnt with a thick shriveled up skin on them. He also had a cinnamon roll and mini chocolate muffin which were both very very dry. We both left disappointed. They should lower their prices if they’re going to put out food that is equivalent to a middle school cafeteria’s breakfast. I’ve had better breakfast buffet food at hotels for free. Just sayin. 2 stars because I was surprised that out of the few fountain drinks offered, 3 of them were diet. That’s pretty neat I guess.

Restaurant, in itself, reminded me of a somewhat higher end OCB but more vegetarian friendly. The food selection was vast but I could tell that some items at the salad bar were not fresh and as a company that is known for their salad bar, this could be looked into. I also enjoyed their hot bar items but was slightly bothered by their mac and cheese. It was spicy but they failed to note that anywhere. Don’t get me wrong, I love a little chili in my food but it didn’t help that I had a 2 year old there that loved Mac and cheese, but was unable to eat it. Overall, I feel the place deserved the stars that I gave. It was good but not great. And of course, there is always some room for improvement.

Qcumbers is hands down the cleanest buffet I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here a handful of times and the food has always been fresh and the choices have consistently been plentiful. For $ 11 it’s a little more than I would prefer to spend for lunch, but it’s at least undeniably tasty. What I really like about this place is that you can really make your lunch what you want. If you want to eat healthy, there are some fantastic vegetable pickings and tasty vinegarette mix options at the salad bar. If you want to eat comfort food, you can usually find fried chicken and Mac and cheese at the hot bar. I would encourage everyone to save some room for the Jamaican chili, it has a tiny bit of kick but has a cool aftertaste. I love it with a piece of their homemade bread for dipping. Yum! Don’t forget the delicious fruit and dessert area, and by don’t forget I mean get there quickly before your stomach realizes it’s already eaten three ginormous courses. I always get the soft serve with a little drizzle of caramel with some salty peanuts for a nice salty/sweet finish. Then I go back to work and sleep under my desk.
