It’s conveniently located for the weary shopper buy that’s the most it has going for it these days. They have raised their prices and haven’t stepped up any service. I expected for over 100 to get a far more customized massage, but it became clear to me that upon starting my massage here, the sweet girl didn’t know any more than a standard rub down, even though they charge by the type of massage (distinguishing price between deep tissue, Swedish, sport, etc). I had come here a number of years ago and was satisfied, but at this price I’ll definitely skip it from here on out. I can get an amazing 90 minute customized massage for what I paid today. What a bummer.

Just walked in and waited for about 10 mins… i could hear employees talking loudly from some back room but no one ever came to help me… and whoever worked the desk also left her phone. Could have easily grabbed it.
Anyway, i went in to ask a few questions about their prenatal massages but i will be going somewhere else. Thanks for making that decision easy for me.

I’ve been here for the third time, and all with a great experience. I get massages on the chair rather than undressing and laying down, as it’s just as relaxing and a great deal. The masseuse use firm to deep pressure and are open and inviting to you telling them specific areas on your back/neck that need work. Highly recommend this place to anyone. 25 minutes max on the chair for $ 25, $ 75 for an hour on a massage bed with a customized massage.
I’ve been going to massage envy for the last 10 years and this place beats them hands down.

That was an excellent massage – I got the deep tissue sports massage for about $ 100 before tip, for 1 hour, and it was absolutely perfect. Really great technique, tailored to where my muscles were tight, not just going through the motions.
I will definitely be visiting this place next time I’m in town. If you like great, strong pressure and serious deep tissue massage, they really can deliver. And everyone was really friendly and the table and room were comfy and nice.

Just passing through before flying out, I wanted a massage to round out my long weekend. I wanted so badly a 90 minute but being crunched for time, I had to settle for a 60 minute.
Jack was my therapist and after the massage, I really wished I could have gotten in 90 mins with Jack. He’s a professional, strong, and communicative therapist, and I hope to return sometime. I enjoyed my massage and the special attention Jack paid to my specific knots in my shoulder.
The front desk receptionist, however, could have been more professional. She basically mocked our non-Minnesotan last name and I found her demeanor rather offensive. She told us on the phone that I could get in at 3pm and I wasn’t seen until 3:30, making a 90min massage impossible. It would be nice if she had a better handle on therapist’s actual schedules.
I’d return for another massage from Jack, but the «zen experience» from the establishment itself didn’t exactly live up to his name until after leaving the lobby.

Definitely a new fan of this day spa and I will be coming back again.
My husband and I purchased an insanely affordable combo-package for this place off of Travel
and used our packages yesterday. Both of us found the spa itself to be clean, inviting, soothing and very accommodating.
My husband had some additional acupressure work done on his back following his massage and said its the first time in months that he has actually felt better in his back shoulder area.
I also enjoyed my experience and highly recommend my therapist, Mary-Kate. Affordable and convenient, I’ll be suggesting Zen Experience & Ocean Waves Spa to all my friends.

Having just moved here, I looked to Unilocal to find an affordable place to get a prenatal massage. Being 8 months pregnant, I really needed some pampering and this place hit the spot.
Was taken a little off guard when I found it to be in a mall, but the staff was friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the prices were great. $ 80 for an hour prenatal massage? Thats pretty hard to beat!
The room was all ready to go, complete with belly pillows so I could actually lay face down for the first time in months. Although it did get a little uncomfortable, the staff, Emily, positioned me sitting up slightly on my side which was much better. She worked on all areas and didn’t try to talk to me the entire time (which I hate)
Only regret? wish I would have gotten a 90 min instead of an hour.

I just came from Ocean Waves for their Sports massage (I ran a 10k yesterday). As I am used to Chicago prices, $ 80 for an hour long massage seemed really reasonable to me — plus, i got 20% off with a coupon I found online. It’s right in the first level of the atrium below Cheesecake Factory/PF Changs, next to the AMC and I’m so glad I found it.
The woman was really nice and asked me a few times throughout the hour about the pressure, and made me feel really at ease. I was really sad when I found out it was over! I’m even thinking about getting another one while I’m here — it’s a great treatment.
