Main Moon Chinese Restaurant

Not a place to eat in, but great for take out. Been getting food there for years. Sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli, and pork egg rolls are great — better than I’ve had anywhere else.

I’m sorry. They are very nice people but the food just isn’t that good. I don’t think I could eat there again. I hope they make a come back.

This place should not be in business… Very dirty and unsanitary. I walked in and was about to walk out, after seeing dirty plates and bowls left unattended to on the three tables they have for seating, toys on the floor, and two toddlers crawling on their hands and knees across the eating area. I didn’t want to be rude and was in a hurry anyways, so I ordered something simple, something that couldn’t be messed up. The woman who took my order was sweaty and kept wiping her sweaty forehead with her hand, as I then witnessed her handle my food with her unwashed bare hands… That turned me off immediately. Anyways, once I got my food, I decided to eat it anyways because I was in a hurry to take a final and on my way to class. I bit down on something hard in my general tso meat and lo and behold, it was a chicken beak. Nope. Never again. I know the beak was probably not their fault… however, the food regardless to the beak was horrible… I was very grossed out by the atmosphere and the rice even tasted bad/​soapy. I never stepped foot back in there again.

delivery — They won’t understand you. It’s arguable if they even try to (it kind of isn’t arguable, they won’t try to.) You’ll have no idea how much it was or when it’s coming either. Huge risk. 9 times out of 10 they will completely botch your order and you will have something you didn’t want.
eat-​in/​pick up — You might get what you want, but it honestly is pretty mediocre. You can’t ask much when youre getting this stuff, I guess, but even still they under-​deliver. Also, I’ve heard a lot of rumors about it never passing health inspection. Maybe I’m wrong on that, though.
It’s kind of infuriating Main Moon has the best spot in town, location-​wise. Plop a frozen-​yogurt shop in it’s location and you’ll never miss this place.
