My boyfriend went and we had a groupon. We got an amazing price for the weekend buffet. Lots of variety. Everyone was very friendly. Staff was helpful and attentive. Food was good.

PLEASE stay away! FARAWAY I went to a party there last weekend! Me my husband and sister in law have the worst case of dysentery(infected Diarrhea) I vomited my husband did too and my sister in law became sick and has Diarrhea. It’s been five days since the party and I’m still sick. Damned this place and if I ever go to this cheap ass hall again. Also their bathrooms are in the basement with no disabled access… Wtf? That’s ghetto. I don’t know what garbage they cooked or keep their utensils in but watch yourselves I’m beyond pissed! Also the food was spicy and not appetizing seems like they reused it for days yuck!!!

A friend and I decided to venture out to Edison using a Groupon for their lunch buffet At first I thought we were at the wrong place because it’s in a residential area — it’s actually in a house! The feel was as if we were at an Indian party! Family style seating. Huge array of appetizers, entrees and deserts. Very friendly staff. Familiar with some food but not everything. Was a very educational experience. Totally inexpensive even with no Groupon. They close at 4 on Saturday and Sunday which the only buffet days. Very casual atmosphere.

Great buffet! Best Pakistani/Indian buffet I have had in US. It’s a bit expensive but if you pay cash then you can save 10%. Apart from the variety they have the quality for the food. They have great appetizers, food and sweets. To top it of you can have chai or Kashmiri chai. Just be careful if you are a small party. They might not entertain you. First they’ll say let me check. Then will say no table is free at this time. When you ask for the wait time, they say I don’t know. Essentially leaving you with no option but to leave. I do think that the food is great. But just wanted to give a heads up to future visitors. I am still giving it a five star as I don’t want to take away from the people cooking great food. I just wish that the people on front desk and their«Akhlaq» was as good.

Great buffet on the weekend. Everything tender and delicious. Lots of items, we didn’t make it through half of what was there but it was all great. Will be back again and again. New favorite.

IMHO, Best Indian/Pakistani food I’ve had in US in that last couple of years! The outlook is somewhat of a Marriage Reception sorts, with round table seating. People come in hoards so come on time! And more importantly, come HUNGRY!!! From the sumptuous lamb shanks and haleem, to the absolutely delectable rasmalai, everything here is authentic and delicious! Unlike a traditional buffet, food here is hot and refilled on time. The noise level and chaos level here is High as you rub shoulders with everyone while trying to get your hands on a wide selection of chaats :) Must try for anyone in and around Edison or even visiting over the weekend.

This is the KINGKONG of Pakistani restaurants in NJ !! I have been going there for Sunday /Saturday brunches … they have everything from Biryani to Payaya, Haleem … Tikka, all various kinds of Kababs. They charge a slightly higher tab of around $ 25 bucks all inclusive comparing other places in the NJ area… but i feel its still quite cheap w.r.t to the variety and high quality! And a word of caution… Dont go there if you avoid /don’t like Beef… cos PK ppl love Beef !!!

I would give this place definitely 5 stars, lots of options for food. Waiters are very friendly and price is very reasonable in terms of all options. Also, drinks and everything is included, which makes it better option too. There were a lot of options in terms of food and all of them were good. Bare in mind, they only have buffet, with good seating area and capacity. I would like to go back there again.

So, first all positives — best lamb shank, best karachi style Nehari, tastiest halwa-puri, loved the green-chicken-somethin-somethin!, chicken karahi was excellen. Perhaps the best desi buffet I have ever been except the Reza’s(Persian/desi) in Chicago! Drinks such as mango lassi, soft drinks etc come with the buffet — so no hidden costs! Need improvement: Soda was flat, not the best of the deserts; Wife had the Kashmiri chai and she wasn’t overly impressed. Did not see any somasas — believe those were gone once consumed! Too crowded and we had to drive for 40 minutes but will go back there again n again!

Let’s just sum it up. This place has to be the best paki/indian buffet in NJ/NYC at least to me lol. The biryani, palak, butter chicken, lamb, naan, gosh I can keep going but the food is so delicious. There is such a variety you won’t get bored of trying all the different foods. The only issue with the place is, it’s not so scenic, the ambience is weird. It can feel like a zoo. Definitely a 3rd world vibe. That being said, if you go with a group you’ll love it. Speaking just about the food.

Main attraction is the weekend buffet. Tremendous variety of mutton, chicken, and vegetable dishes. Recommend the freshly made ‘pooris’(fried flaky flatbread) with the chickpeas and potatoes. Price wise it’s moderately up there but you will end up eating equivalent of two meals there.(You will probably be too full to eat the following meal of the day) Nice BBQ/tandoori chicken and kebabs. They also have 3 – 4 chinese food options which I did not sample and probably are best left for another day. Good selection of desserts. The pink tea was rather flavorless but regular«chai» was quit good. You have to be prepared for a full onslaught on the senses(fragrant food, loud background banter, and depending on when u are there, a traffic jam of people) The tables are arranged in a peculiar dining hall style so mobility can be tricky when the place is packed.

Walked in on a Saturday around 2:15 pm with a party of two. Told that there was a 25 min wait, with no waiting area so they took my number and told me to wait in my car. Waited in the car for 30 mins with no phone call. Went back inside to wait another 20 mins before a table was made. I figured Saturdays were a busy day so i expected the wait. The only thing I did not like was most of their tables were set for 4 people or higher which made the wait a little longer for two people. Also noticed that you can make reservations, which I will be doing my next visit! Don’t want to wait 50 mins for a buffet again. Finally a table! Set down and immediately got on line. They had everything u could imagine! Their goat and naan was to DIE for! I also like how they allow you to put whatever it is u like in side the simosa dough. Also tried a mango lassi and pistachio ice cream for the first time! Amazing! At the end it was worth the wait. Only thing I would change is the seating arrangement and the organization of how tables are called for people waiting verse reservations. Definitely going back again, with a reservation this time. :) Also had a groupon, 2 for $ 19!!!

Usually have nothing but good reviews here but we held a wedding event and they completely botched the food order by replacing the beef bihari kabob with other random chicken items and tried to pass it off like they did nothing wrong. We told them on the spot that it was wrong but they refused to correct it and even subsequent phone calls and emails afterwards went unanswered. Again, we usually have great experiences but this was very disappointing compounded by their lack of communication.

Great place! You really should be Pakistani(or go with some Pakis) if you want to eat here. The food is nice and authentic. It’s a bit of a mad house but I think that’s part of the charm. Go for the food and you’ll be happy. If you expect good service, nice décor, clean tablecloth, etc… go eat somewhere else.
