The Vintage Pearl

I used to loved ordering their jewelery online and have ordered for friends and family. One of my necklaces broke (the circle of metal that attaches the birthstone to the charm) so the birthstone fell off and can’t be put back on becaues the metal literally broke in half. I don’t wear it everyday, maybe once a week, don’t shower with it on, don’t exercise with it on, etc. I think that should have lasted more than a year and half. When I contacted them about it they said I could order another birthstone for 25%. They did reply quickly (only 2 hours after my email). I will not be ordering and paying shipping for something that broke and may break again. Thanks anyway.

I don’t know why people are complaining about the Vintage Pearl. I think it’s a lovely store and have purchased two necklaces from them thus far. My sister has purchased two or three as well. I admit that it’s a little pricey, but as someone else said they have monthly coupons. They are also good quality necklaces that endure showers + constant wear. I never take mine off (only to change it with my other one). My son is apart from me half of the week and wearing a special necklace that has his name on it is nice. I have only had to polish mine every once in a while (which is to be expected), but other than that it’s perfect. As far as their customer service goes — it’s great! Again, I don’t understand these complaints. I actually ordered a necklace late February and made a mistake on the engraving. I emailed them two days later when I realized and they were able to fix it and were super understanding. They also worked with me on the font size to make sure it would be exactly what I want. I know they have some cheaper jewelry shops online at Etsy and in some stores, but the quality is not the same and I haven’t found any that are as durable.

Not sure the reviews are really fair in this case. They have beatiful handmade pieces that are good quality for the price. They offer promos monthly so check those out before placing an order. Trying to decide which new item I want to purchase with my christmas gift certificate.

Found them in Parenting Magazine. Ordered necklace for my wife. It had two rings that I wanted to have each of my daughters names on. Received it and one of the rings was completely incorrect. Three kids names on it that was clearly not my daughters. Mistakes happen, but after my calling and emailing I was told to send a photo as apparently the thought was I wasn’t being truthful. Fine I did that. Now waiting for replacement. Quality was not what I expected as it is very very thin metal. Oh, yeah almost forgot. A day after I placed my order they sent me an email for free shipping. I inquired about this and was told that didn’t apply because I ordered the day before. Seriously, brand new customer and send me an offer the day after I order and tell me it’s not applicable. Bush league.

Be very wary of buying anything online for this store. The pictures make the pendants look great but I was very disappointed in what I actually got. I bought the dog tags with a different font than what was pictured and the font I chose was actually much bigger so it didn’t fit right. The pendants were made of very thin silver (looking cheap) and the box chain was WAY smaller than pictured. I contacted the company about the size of the font and the lettering not fitting on the pendant like it was shown on the website and the only thing they would do for me is provide a discount for a re-​order. No where on the website does it say that some of the fonts will appear differently because they are not all the same size.
Quality and customer service stink!

I love everything about TVP; a small local business making unique jewelry is as good as it gets! Not to mention the monetary support they’ve shown for the OK tornado relief!
The store is a lot of fun and I have had wonderful experience with their customer service in the store and over the phone. I’ve never had complaints about the quality of any of the pieces I own (3 and counting ;)

TVP is a gorgeous store with gorgeous jewels! I was lucky enough to get one of their necklaces from a friend at my babyshower, and I had to check out the store whilst visiting a friend in Edmond recently.
