I realized I love the«Tawainese» flaming hot soup best and just FYI, after 3pm, your tea drink is not included with your hotpot. What I do appreciate is that when anyone comes in late let’s say…11pm? Once order is placed, then they will come around one last time for«last call», for any additional orders as they close at 11:30pm sharp. Btw…when I think my hot pot is drying up since the fire underneath the bowl tends to make the broth thicker and will dry up, I can ask for extra broth at no charge. Just ask. Yup! So, there you go. I hope this helps.

I really enjoy this restaurant and recommend it. I have eaten there twice. Good food. Great on a cold or rainy day. Hotpot is cooked at your table and it is a beautiful choice of meats, seafood and vegetables. Really enjoyed it.

Can’t help but notice this new place on highway 99. Had to check it out. This place stands out from the rest of the restaurants. The atmosphere is new, modern, and styling. The food is unique with powerful flavors and real Asian ingredients. They serve sweet ice tea for free. Lastly, they have thoughtful, detail oriented servers that make sure you are taken care. I’ll be coming back here and definitely recommend this place to others.

I’ll admit, I kinda hate giving such a low review of the Boiling Point. Let me explain why I am. My husband, daughter, and I went to try out the Boiling Point when it first opened. We love food adventures so we were really looking forward to this. It’s been awhile so I cannot remember what we ordered. It’s not really relevant to my review. The dishes that arrived were intriguing and nicely flavored. I couldn’t figure out how to turn my burner off but that’s totally on me:) I was happily picking my way through my bowl, eyeing the tasty looking dumpling and pondering how I was going to pick it up without making a mess. About a third of the way through I decide to attempt the coveted dumpling… I successfully pick it up and… there is a HUGE long black hair interwoven through the middle of my precious dumpling! I catch the attention of a server and they take the whole thing away without even an apology. I am grossed out beyond belief. hairs just kill me… but instead of comping me, they bring me another bowl…:/ I can’t eat it. It’s all over at that point. We enjoyed the desserts but I won’t likely eat there again. Very sad.

Hot pot comes in a thin metal bowl placed on a box with alcohol gel fuel. Flame can be extinguished or refueled. Beef hot pot is tasty but the beef slices were a bit chewy despite it being super thin. I recommend getting some kind of greens as your add-on– nothing like the crisp veggies in your soup! House special hot pot is good but the fermented tofu in it can be off putting for some. Be warned, it’s stinky! Lunch combo is super filling(hot pot, rice, tea). The tea that comes in the combo is iced and slightly sweetened – a nice touch. Quite noisy and echoey – need to speak up across the table!

It’s been a while since I went back to this area but it is good to know that there is a Taiwanese style hotpot restaurant that isn’t too far away. Keep in mind that it’s not going to be the type of Taiwanese hotpot establishment where you get to go to a fridge and pick what you want. Everything comes in a set. The great thing about that is less moving around and you just have to hope that you like everything that is in the set(such as pork blood). Also, be aware that some pots are bigger than others. I got the miso one and I wasn’t able to finish it. I don’t like wasting food but it was still good. It didn’t take long for us to get seated. They use a number system for first come first serve. The service was acceptable too. I can’t wait to come back with my family again.

On a cold rainy day, nothing hits the spot like hot pot and phở. The food at Boiling point is usually on POINT! The Beef Hot Pot is my go-to. Level two spiciness gives a great kick without causing my eyes to tear up. I like the variety of food in the pot. However, there isn’t a satisfying amount of beef in it. There was about 3 strips of beef and 1 beef ball. Come on, Boiling Point… not even 2 beef balls? Normally I would recommend the Hokkaido Milk Tea… but not at this location. It tastes good but it’s painfully sweet… Every sip made my teeth feel tingly. No thanks! As a special treat, we got the Cappuccino Macaroon ice cream. When it first comes out, I recommend letting it sit for a minute or so. It’s as hard as a rock! The regret was so real as I struggled to take a bite as soon as it came. After it melted a bit, I enjoyed it. I will never purchase it again though. It is NOT worth $ 4.50 This location is my favorite out of the three. Even though the restaurant is more spacious than the others, they are still desperately cramming as many tables of hot pots they can. We were awkwardly squeezed in between two tables. If I understood Mandarin Chinese, I would have joined in on both tables’ conversations while helping myself to their stinky tofu. What bothered me most about this location was how wobbly the table was. It is SCARY! There should not be wobbly tables in such tight spots with boiling pots of food being carried around. I fear for the day someone gets burned by a careless waiter or customer… TLDR: Yum. Wish there was more beef balls. Get new tables and maybe I’ll raise my rating.

A fast food Taiwanese hot soup chain from China that migrated to California in 2004. Slowly opening up new locations up the West Coast to Washington and Canada. Specializing in pre made hot soup combinations. We could see the fast food process from our table. Just add water and an egg and warm up using a «Mini Wok on a Box» cooking at your table. They are smart to present such beautiful soup when they arrive at your table. Ordered the Japanese Miso and Curry Fishball Hot Soups. They looked great, but once you work your way through the soup bowl, the soup combos have a tendency to be watery and salty. We’ve heard better reviews about the other locations. Will give them another chance at a different location.

First time here, and ordered the Taiwan hot pot. It’s different than other hot pot restaurants that serve the ingredients on the side, self serve style. Dining is usually also more family style. At Boiling Point you get generous individual servings with precooked ingredients in the broth that are then heated on a sterno. Pretty neat, and you can choose to share if you want. Beware of the spice level if your tolerance is low, the Taiwan hot pot bowl gets spicier the more you heat the broth and as you continue to eat. Had to eat with Hokkaido milk tea, which was delicious. The dessert options were ice cream in macaron or cube form. I opted for the matcha macaron, which was amazing. I would go just for those. My only complaint was the service. It felt rushed and we had to speak up to get the server’s attention. Presentation wasn’t amazing either, which is a minor point. The menu looks nothing like what you get in front of you. But looks are deceiving. Taste is great and ridiculously filling. Plus, it’s conveniently located on aurora ave, and has a decent sized parking lot. Be sure to come somewhat early for dinner!

Would give 5 stars if it weren’t for the service. Every time I’m here I get seated right away. The food is great, everything comes out pretty quickly and is super flavorful and tasty. Now, I know Chinese restaurants aren’t known for stellar service. However, I find that the staff was somewhat inattentive, even compared against other Boiling Point locations. We requested to sit in a corner booth so that we wouldn’t be subject to the draft from the entrance. However, because of this we were constantly having to flag down waiters. Even when they would come over to our area to assist other tables, they would turn and head back towards the kitchen before I could get their attention. This by no means is going to discourage me from going back, but it might make me think twice about bringing others with me.

The space was a bit small, but the food was amazing. Pro: The food was amazing. The portion was big. We didn’t have to wait very long for our food to arrive. My friend got guava tea and she loved it. Con: I personally like to have privacy and space between other customers and I. We sat in the middle of two other tables and we can literally hear each other even if we whisper. Overall experience: good! Will come again.

Authentic Taiwanese hot pot. I come regularly and have ordered #4 beef hot soup, #6 curry fishball, and #8 Taiwanese spicy hot soup. The fermented tofu(included in #1) is definitely a distinct taste and isn’t for everyone. The yogurt green tea and milk tea are fresh and tasty here, perfect when you’re eating hot pot! Service is a hit or miss and overall is inconsistent. But I go for the food, so it’s okay. They don’t allow seating in the booths unless all of the tables to the left of the restaurant are taken– kind of makes you wonder what the point of that is. Definitely opt in for the stamp cards if you visit frequently!

First time here… We were seated pretty quickly… after almost 10 min of waiting for someone to come and take our order. We see that the waiter went to another couple that came in and was seated after us, take their order first. needless to say. he finally came to our table next to take our order. We decided on the Japanese Miso & the Lamb hot soup. Our food came out in a reasonable time being that the place was pretty busy! My 2 complaints about this place is #1: how they are not very prompt on checking in with patrons after they have been seated to see if they need help with the menu or if they are ready to order & #2: the table space(elbow room) and spaces between tables are just too cramped and so close together. Other than that. Everything else was fine. Food was great & the green tea was bomb! Prices were also reasonable.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Boiling Point– but I just don’t like this location ATALL. To start off, the employees are terrible with getting people seated, they don’t know how to properly take an order let alone remember what you ordered and the way things are served here is completely different from the other Boiling Point locations in Washington. Unfortunately, the two times I have been here has been nothing but a disappointment for me. My first time was shortly after it first opened a few months back; the hostess kept giving us false wait times and failed to acknowledge that our party was ahead of other parties on the list. When we were seated, I ordered my hotpot and the waiter kept saying how the new regulation of Boiling Point was everything that is served as a side is REQUIRED to be cooked instead of served raw, in which I knew was a lie because I was at another Boiling Point location multiple times after my first visit here and the employees had no idea what I was talking about. It was really hard to enjoy my food because it wasn’t the same Boiling Point experience that I have been having for the past two years which was a bummer. My second time here was also a let down due to poor customer service. The waiter that we had was very inattentive to my party, failed to give us our proper orders and didn’t bring what we asked for. It was annoying because every time I would look over to see if he would be coming back to our table, he walked around paying attention to other parties that wasn’t assigned to him. When our food came, one of the waitresses was attempting to put the hotpot on the table and didn’t warn my Uncle sitting next to me and almost dropped it on him. This is the last time I am ever coming back to this location. One positive thing I have to say about this Boiling Point is that they serve you cold water and not warm water in paper cups like the other Boiling Point locations.

Hands down my favorite restaurant. If I can have this everyday, I probably would. I’m just so sad they don’t have a boiling point in Las Vegas! When I lived in Washington, I would go almost about every week to the Seattle location since it was closer to where I lived. I’ve tried the beef hot pot, lamb hot pot, Thai hot pot, curry hot pot and Taiwanese hot pot. I love spicy and strong flavor so Taiwanese hot pot really hit the spot for me. The broth is so spicy and flavorful and packed with all the ingredients I love such as beef, fish ball, ramen, fish cakes, intestines, cabbage, etc. I sometimes order eggs to add to my hot pot. I love coming here during there lunch special so you can indulge in a green or black ice tea. Their dipping sauce is also one of my favorites, I always mix all three together. The bean, sweet sauce and chili oil. Mmmmmmmmmmazing! I know my friends and coworker from Washington also can’t get enough of boiling point! Please open one in Las Vegas boiling point!!!

This place is decent. Nothing good or bad, nothing very impressive or unique. Customer service is mediocre. In the space of 2 minutes 5 people visited our table to ask for our orders. The 5th time I just started laughing. The guy must have thought I was crazy, but what the heck? It took some time, but not too long to get our hotpot. Once we got it nobody ever checked on us. We needed more napkins. I also asked some questions about the menu… Jeez, don’t bother with that. The girl told me her English wasn’t good enough to explain. It was definitely fine, she just had no idea what the difference in certain items were. Food was good but not great. We ordered the curry fishball, medium spice. The broth was decently flavorful and a little spicy. If you can handle spice I imagine you could go with hot and be able to handle it. Two of us shared one. It was enough for us. We also got the«ice cubes.» Interesting to eat but good. We got chocolate and sesame. The chocolate was good but we didn’t like the sesame. They should try to get a few more flavors. Cleanliness was okay. It looks good for the most part but when I sat down there were a ton of crumbs on the table and though the table had just been wiped down it was still sticky and not entirely clean. After our meal the table should have been wiped down before our dessert was brought out. It wasn’t, so I had to clean it up myself. Don’t know if it was good enough to bring me back. Definitely more convenient than doing hotpot at home, but defiantly not as good.

I’ve been to the Bellevue and Chinatown location a few times but I’m happy they’ve finally opened up one up north! I usually get the beef hotpot and usually can’t finish everything especially with the bowl of rice they give you. I really like how everyone gets their own individual hotpot so you can customize how spicy you want your broth to be and you don’t have to worry about sharing! They have a large menu to choose from and you can also add additional items to your hotpot or on the side(i.e extra meat, mushroom, corn, etc). They also have milk tea/bubble tea as well! I always leave very full and happy. :)

«Hotpot soup to welcome the fall weather.» Nothing like a hotpot to bring a group together. Boiling Point offers decent selections of shareable hotpot soup filled with tofu, beef, fishballs, mushrooms, and other wholesome ingredients. This restaurant was a chance find in the Edmonds/Mountlake Terrace area. The serving portions are generous and the selections ranges from meat, seafood, and vegetarian. My two visits allowed me to sample a good variety of items. We tried the curry fishball hot soup, beef hot soup, and Japanese miso soup. The soup presentation was definitely something to see. Each pot came on a burner stand with a gel container as the heat source. This made transportation and enjoying your meal a hassle free experience. The gel packs lasted for about 30 minutes and the pots were still hot even after an hour later. The soups were simply delicious. Each pot came already assembled, preheated, and ready to eat. Curry fishball Hot Soup: Curry flavored stock with napa cabbage, vermicelli noodles, sliced pork, enoki mushroom, imitation crab, stick, fish ball, fried tofu skin, corn, tempura mountain yam, chinese string bean, egg, and green onion. Excellent soup and served with a side of white rice. The thin slices of pork was tender and seasoned with curry. The flavor combination was a perfect balance of heat, meat and vegetables. The variety of items in the soup definitely created a unique and savory broth. Beef Hot Soup: Tender slices of beef, napa cabbage, vermicelli noodles, enoki mushroom, tomato, firm tofu, tempura, corn, meat ball(pork), kamaboko, fried tofu skin, imitation crab stick, green onion, cilantro. The broth had a rich and meaty flavor and the noodles perfectly absorbed the flavors. Japanese Miso Soup: Miso broth, napa cabbage, udon, sliced pork, enoki mushrooms, clam, fuzhou fish ball, fish fillet, king oyster mushroom, crab, fried tofu skin, soft tofu, egg, green onion. The flavor combination was also unique with a little more seafood taste to the broth. Fermented Spicy Tofu: Excellent pre-soup appetizer. Nice heat with a distinct flavor. This dish may be an acquired taste for some. Overall verdict, this is a good cold weather meal for family and friends. Great for groups and service is decent.

First time eating at the BP here and second time eating BP ever! The first time I had it was a few years ago and I was kind of disappointed. But recently I decided to give it a second chance and I’m glad I did, because I was really satisfied! I got the beef soup flavor and it was really good. I wish the portion was bigger though, because I eat a lot. Haha. My friend got the Thai flavor and it was good too. :3 a lot of toppings! For dessert, the ice cream macaron looked good so we got the matcha one. It was $ 4.50 but it was pretty tiny… :(We also got boba tea, which were yummy! I like the honey milk green tea flavor!

People on Instagram seems to love this place. I keep seeing posts of Boiling Point for the ones in California and they look delicious. I’m not speaking for all boiling points, but the one in Seattle was awful. I was pretty excited coming here because their pictures look amazing. I like how the presentation is beautiful, and it’s a personalize hot pot with a little bit of everything. I got #8 because I wanted to challenge their spiciness. Well, it wasn’t too bad in term of spicy, but it was bad overall. The quality of the food was poor and the soup was lack in flavor. What bother me the most was the cabbage. Under the thin layer of meat and seafood were all cabbage. I wish they had more variety of veggies like cabbage and bok choy. I had a taste of #10 and #6 and they weren’t good either. For dessert, I got the assorted snow cubes which were pretty much ice. Yea but no thanks.
