Branching Inside Out

On the recommendation of a good friend, I hired these two women to simply turn on and possibly repair an existing drip irrigation system in my garden. The system was installed nine years ago and worked well for that entire time. The estimate of $ 438.00 seemed high but I figured they didn’t know the system. After a consulation in my home with them, they returned about two weeks later to begin what would drag out to be a project that lasted almost a month and was never completed by them. They billed me for nearly twice the estimate! They appeared to be very disorganized, never having what they needed with them. They didn’t even remember what the size of the main hoses were when they began. The person that does the billing is unable to write an understandable estimate or bill. She also left my faucet on on two separate occasions which cost me. Many of my plants, trees, and shrubs suffered and/​or died. Finally I had to hire someone else to complete this project. It took him about two hours. Often they bragged about how busy they were which didn’t impress me – their problem, not mine!
I had wanted to support their business but I don’t want anyone else’s garden to suffer.
