My son came back from college a year ago with a huge mop of hair and only a day before he had to start an internship in downtown Seattle. Hard to find a barber on a Saturday. Brooklyn was available and did a a great job on my son. She also fixed me up although she has very little to work with on my head. Anyway, every time my son is home from college, we both head down to Brooklyn’s. She is the best. I wrote an earlier review about her that got pulled. I think it was too glowing.

I really liked the cut I got here. Brooklyn really listens to what you want as far as cut and style are concerned. She’s different than other stylists I’ve had in that she doesn’t try to do too many things at once (i.e. answering the phone while cutting hair) which made me feel more comfortable and know that the quality of my cut was priority. On top of the great cut it’s very well priced!
They do walk-​ins, but it’s recommended to call ahead to check availability and reserve time slots.

Just one visit so far, so can’t quite give Brooklyn’s 5 stars yet, but my first experience was great. Haircut was what I was looking for, and the price was reasonable. I came in around 9:30 AM on a weekday, and only had to wait a few minutes for the guy in front of me.
Some nice touches: a hot cup of coffee when you sit in the chair, and a lathered shave.
Will bump this up to 5 stars if my next few experiences go as well as this first one.

Been in twice for a cut and been very pleased. A bit of a relief to not have to go into one of those big salons; this has just 2 chairs, so walk-​in works just fine. I love the later hours, and the big screen tv to watch a ball game while getting my cut. I’ll be going back for sure.

Over the past few months I’ve moved from a stylist, because she got too expensive, over to Brooklyn and a girl down in Portland. Brooklyn has done a great job doing trims and also full cuts with texturing on top. She even saved my hair from a horrible butcher job from a guy at The Art of Shaving in Seattle. It is indeed more of a barber style cut but good and consistent. It sounds like the previous poster needs to be more direct and specific with their wants.
