We lived here for two years while my husband attended grad school at UW, and we really enjoyed our time here. We lived in a 2 bed, 1 bath apartment on the third floor. When we were looking for a place, this apartment seemed like the best deal in town, so we jumped on it. We paid $ 925 when we first moved in, and that went up to $ 975 after a year. This apartment complex is kind of tucked away from the main road, and that makes it really quiet. We met a couple of our neighbors, but people pretty much kept to themselves. It seems like the place is full of people who are in the 45 to 65 range, plus a few older and a few younger. My husband and I are both upper 20’s, and we were definitely the youngest ones living there. It seems like a lot of the residents are divorced. Some of them have kids, but I hardly ever saw kids running around outside. It’s just quiet all the time. We could hear our neighbors occasionally, but it was dramatically better than our previous apartment where we could hear our neighbors yelling at each other on a daily basis. The apartment itself was definitely a little old, but it was in good shape. Our living room was huge, and it included a wood-burning fireplace. All of the other rooms were a little on the small side, but not unreasonable. We loved our huge balcony. We loved the fact that it came with a washer and dryer. We loved the fact that we could have our friends over and never worry about parking. However, our third-floor apartment definitely got warm in the summertime. I will never understand why Seattle is so opposed to air conditioning :) The manager is super chill, but he was pretty responsive whenever we had a problem. He lives on the property, so it’s usually pretty easy to find him. We liked him better than some of the managers we’ve had before. Overall, this was a great place to live, and I would definitely recommend it!
