In town getting mother in law settled into new place and all the fun that goes with it. Her vacuum wouldn’t work, I said I would go to Walmart and get her a brand new one. She wouldn’t even listen to that nonsense, she said it just needs a tune up, LOLLL, so I found Abbey online and took this dinosaur of a vacuum up there. They were having some type of sewing class, but this gent who worked there said let me take a look, 5 min later he came from the back with a big handful of stuff and said I just had a little clog, LOLLL, it was more than a little. No Charge! Thank you, my mother in law is happy so we are all happy. Support locally owned business folks!

My review would have no stars if that was an option. I visited this place a number of years ago and more or less had the same experience as the other negative review I see on here. Well for some reason I tried them out again and it was even worse. The lady who answered the phone was rude and could less about helping me. I will never darken their door again and you shouldn’t either! Based on my past visit and recent phone call what appears and sounds to be a nice old lady is nothing of the sort— boy does she have some Tiger Claws! Buyer beware!

It is hard to write an «as good as it gets» review. I feel there is room for improvement in everything. But Abbey Sew & Vac has always been there for me and have gone out of their way to help me even after hours if necessary. Jean is a gem. She is friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell. I have never felt ignored. If they are busy I wait my turn and then get personalized attention. I will continue to use Abbeys. As for her friends sitting around a table having lunch??? It is the Viking Club meeting. Everyone is invited.

The first time my wife tried to go to this place, the employees and their friends were sitting around a table having lunch, ignoring her. The second time, my wife tried to call to possibly purchase an expensive item, and they answered the phone with «Yeah?». Recommend going somewhere else.
