Scott Credit Union

I have used them for a vehicle loan and have been nothing but impressed with this organization! I was told by a credit union rep (from a different company) who was trying to pick up the remainder of my loan that «Scott Credit Union is for people with good credit, my group is for those with bad.» «I guess I can’t win your business.» I have to say, I appreciate the honesty & boost in self esteem for working hard at stellar credit. They offer amazing interest rates, their loans move quick, their customer service on the phone & in person is great, friendly, and timely. My family and friends all know where to go when they’re purchasing a new vehicle or home project/​item. I was referred by a friend myself.

This is by far one of the worst banking institutions I’ve ever dealt with! First off the people you have to deal with over the phone are completely rude and frustrating to deal with. The online account management is so useless that they shouldn’t even offer it to begin with. You want to pay on your loan with something other than a check? That’ll be a $ 10 fee… Seriously?

Scott credit union has the best rates on loans and they actually pay you interest on their free checking account. I would never call a big bank but whenever I call SCU they are helpful and pleasant. Also you get the feeling like the people who work there actually enjoy their jobs. Which makes a big difference. Ditch Wall Street. Go SCU!
