I had to give it at least one star to be able to review this restaurant. It doesn’t deserve one star, maybe it did at one time… but it doesn’t now. This is my second review and it has dropped a star. The food was cold, waffles were tough, waitress still nice. Smelled of smoke, someone smoking in the back kitchen area… which is quite disgusting when you’re trying to eat your food. Music is not music and it’s too loud anyway.

I’ve been there a few times now and have tried new things every time. Everything has been great, and I look forward to going back again. The food comes out fast, and the service is always great! You get a really friendly and comfortable feeling when you walk through the door.

Careful. Went there on Saturday at 7:45 am. Despite the sign saying open at 7 am 7 days a week, it was locked and dark. No waffles today.

The Waffle Hut is a great local place in Egg Harbor. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the restaurant was extremely clean, and the food was delicious! The Waffles, in particular, were amazing. I would definitely recommend The Waffle Hut if you’re in the area looking for a good breakfast or lunch for a good price.
