We had a certificate I got from and when we went there yesterday they said they no longer accept the certificates, which we thought was bad customer service as the certificate was $ 10 and we had to spend $ 20 to use it. We would of probably spent more than $ 20, so they still would of made money. I also did not look like a clean restaurant, so they have lost our business forever.

The kabob and stewed chicken are very good. Try not to fill up on the appetizers that they bring out as part of every meal.

What a great restaurant! Went here based off of their Unilocal reviews and was definitely not disappointed! We started off with an appetizer tray with several cold salads. We then were brought a large bread bowls of soup and were able to order off the menu. We ordered a lamb dish as well as a chicken dish, and the gentleman who was our server recommended a different chicken dish as he felt it was better and we would like it more. We went off of his recommendation and we’re definitely not disappointed. Both of our meals came with a large serving of rice perfectly stewed meat that was tender and flavorful, and I had a tomato based soup that had baby okra in it that was to die for.

The best middle eastern restuarant in San Diego, seconds after we entered the soups and appetizers were served. Usually this kind of restuarants have a bad services but this restuarant was something else, the place was nice from inside and outside as well Very friendly people and feels comfortable while staying there. And above all of that the food was awesome real middle eastern food tip: don’t miss the meat quozy !! Overall this is the place to go if you are looking for a nice place with the best food.

Best middle-eastern restaurant ever! Great service and friendly people with a great price! They serve a lot of delicious appetizers at first and this wonderful soup! Then with the main course, a buttery Arabian yellow rice and meat! And at the end they would serve a free cup of tea. I really recommend this restaurant on all the Mediterranean ones in San Diego!

Absolutely delicious lamb and chicken rice plates at a very reasonable cost. The meat is so tender and flavorful and goes perfectly with the rice. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem.

I like any place where the chef comes out to the table to tell you what’s good. This guy came out and explained the menu to us, then ended up making us a chicken dish that wasn’t on the menu. It was a great meal. My girlfriends only complaint is that they gave us too much food.

This place offers some pretty good traditional Middle Eastern food, made by local Chaldean Iraqis who brought those Middle Eastern flavors from back home. When I came in, I was not surprised I was the only non-Iraqi individual in the place, and I said to my self, if this is where they come to eat, then I am in the right place. I ordered the chicken tikka, and before my order came out, a huge steaming warm flat bread was delivered to my table( ) along with a plate full of specialty salads including some hummus( ). Like I said, the flat bread was huge and it was think but very moist which made for the perfect vessel to eat the hummus and tabouli and such. I do have to note, that eh cucumber and yogurt salad was very good( ), but I thought the hummus was a bit grainy, needed some olive oil with it, and needed more seasoning. The Chicken tikka was plentiful and came with two long skewers, some roasted tomatoes and onions, along with some pickled vegetables( ). Although the chicken was very moist and tender with a light char, and even with the dusting of middle eastern herbs and spices, it could of benefited with more salt( ). I found myself combining some of that cucumber salad and chicken in the flat bread, to make me some mini wraps. Good stuff. This place definitely caters to the Chaldean community. There was only one person who spoke some English, and some of their herbs and spices are quite interesting, but don’t let that discourage you. I hear there beef kebabs are quite good too. Also, they need to update their menu because the prices don’t reflect the actual cost on some items. Can you give a 3.8 stars?

Authentic Iraqi food, very tasty and delicious, the portion is enormous, so if you are craving some really good food and want to try what Iraqi, in precise, food tastes like then this place is a must go to place. On top of that, and what makes it even a better experience is the friendly and excellent service. One thing I would like to comment on is the heat, it would be great to have air-conditioning.

By far the most authentic Iraqi food I have ever had. The Kouzi and beef Kabab were Out of this world. The appetizers were pretty good as well. I am definitely returning very soon. The prices were very cheap as well for the amount of food and meat you get.
