This place has high prices but it’s not a huge deal. The flowers are gorgeous & they absolutely last forever for me, which is a must. The employees are so helpful & courteous & seem to really love their job. I love Armstrong!

For the prices not very friendly. I do enjoy the selection here though so sometimes find it worth putting up with this. Also, Christmas trees, not a very good selection. Used to always go here (again like I said we sometimes choose to put up with the lack of service for the quality of goods). This year… so so on Christmas trees. I would give them 5 stars for quality though, 2 for service and service wins out for me every time. It is a good idea to hire people who are helpful and don’t enjoy sitting behind the counter so much. (Occasionally you do get a nice helpful person though)

I spent over $ 300 on indoor plants and pots and received absolutely no offer of assistance with selecting the plants or pots. I asked a couple of questions and received a nice enough response but nothing more. The plants were healthy looking and I’m happy with the quality but everything in there was dusty. I even noticed cobwebs behind the cash register. They did give me help out to my car without asking, which was nice. It would not take much to really improve the experience for their customers.

I shop here often — the service is always very good, friendly, and reliable. The products are on the pricey side but top quality. Armstrongs is a cut above the box stores — maybe two cuts above.

I purchased a groupon for $ 50 worth of merchandise at Armstrong for $ 25. That’s what brought me in, I normally purchase my plants and gardening supplies from Home Depot or Lowes.
Armstrong had a decent selection of flowers, trees, succulents, and other plants. Most of them were very healthy and seemed hardy. Most of the plants were over priced, and without the groupon, I would not have paid full price for many of the more mature plants.
Garden decorations and pots were also very pricey, ceramic lizards i bought in Mexico for $ 5.00 were $ 35.00 at Armstrong.
Service over all was pretty good at checkout, the guy in the nursery with the plants wasn’t so friendly or helpful.
The plants that I purchased are doing well. I don’t think
I would return but like Warren said, It’s a great alternative if you don’t like the big box stores.
