East County Chopperz is a wonderful salon! The owner Rowda is so caring and genuine! You walk in a customer and walk out a friend. Everyone is so kind and great at their crafts. From the nail gals, massages to being able to do the perfect «blonde» hair. I’ve been trusting Rowda and East County Chopperz for over 15 years and NEVER had a bad experience. For an honest price and a overall comfortable experience (no snotty uppity stylist here to make you feel unwanted), I would recommend this awesome salon!

I come here because Mari Kay is like my aunt, but even if she wasn’t I would still come here. The prices are great and the service is even better! Everyone is so friendly and fun, I am constantly laughing while I’m there. I would never go anywhere else to get my hair done!

I got my hair done by Marikay, and she was great! Funny, laid back, and easy to talk to. While I was there 2 people were getting their nails done and there was no odor coming from their stations. The interior is not dark and drabby. It’s a laid back place where you can feel comfortable. Everyone was talking and laughing.
I will be going back and taking my family there too!

i am currently sitting here and getting my hair done from burgundy brown to purple red and i am excited. My stylist Mary Kay is so nice and very accomodating, plus entertaining too :-) the store doesn’t look dragging like what the other review was saying, for me it looks like how a salon should look, the fumes are normal too (just my opinion) I like the ambience and they always offer their customers something to drink :-) This place was recommended to me by a co-​worker and i’m glad i booked an appointment here.

OMG I walked in one day and the fumes from the nail station were soooo strong that I couldn’t stay. I also noticed how drab and dark it looked inside — I’d be afraid that the stylist wouldn’t have good enough light to do a proper job on my hair.

I love this place! My stylist is Mary Kay and she is fabulous! All of the ladies are welcoming and pleasant. The shop is clean and spacious. The theme is wonderful; kind of a rockabilly style. I will keep coming here as long as the shop is here.

This is the salon to go to! They provide all beauty services in one place. Everyone here is very friendly and you feel right at home as soon as you walk it. Rowda, the owner, has been doing my hair for many years and always does an amazing job. I’ve had different cuts, colors, styles and every time I’ve been completely satisfied. Rowda’s sister, Eman, has been doing my nails for many years as well. She is extremely talented as a nail technician and artist. I will never let anyone else do my nails. Eman does the best nails ever! No kidding! If you need facials, waxing, massage, hair, nails/​toes done, this is definitely the place to be. Prices are absolutely reasonable and you get high quality service and results.
I will never go any where else and if Unilocal would let me, I’d give East County Chopperz more than 5 stars :)

What an awesome salon! I had been looking for a new stylist locally, and my friend recommended them. For once you didn’t feel the awkward ness. You can get at some salons that just rent out stations to random stylists. Everyone worked well together and was a great atmosphere. I went to get my hair colored by Melody, who did a terrific job! The top of my hair was a heavy color weave and the bottom was dyed darker and it turned out better than I could have imagined! I would recommend this salon to anyone wanting excellent service as well as a fun friendly atmosphere. Definitely by far the best find!

I found this place w/​a coupon deal and I finally found a hair dresser that could give me exactly what I was looking for. Amanda is amazing. Everything worked out great until she changed her hours and went down to only 2 days a week. So now I need to find another place. Besides that, the staff is nice and pricing is ok.

A friend and I walked in to get a mani and pedi and I had to walk out because of the STRONG chemical fumes in the place. Awful!!! I have never experienced a place like this as it is really bad.
Feel sorry for employees who work here and I do not understand how they get customers to come in for services.
