I brought my diamond ring in to see what they would say about it. The owner said give her a $ 75 loan for the gold. He said the diamond was not real. What? I went down the street to Jewelry and Loan on Main St in ElCajon. They appraised my ring between $ 7 to $ 10K. They are certified gemologists. I will never ever go to this place again. I cannot trust their judgment when it comes to my precious jewelry. What a joke.

I stopped by today looking for treasures. I browsed the whole store slowly taking it in. There wasnt much of it unfortunately. Little selection overall and some pretty steep prices on most things. The knives were real high but I did see a Crate amp for a decent 224.
I spent about 5 minutes in the store and was all over it. I never got so much as a hello from the few people standing around. As i was kneeling down to look at the Crate amp, thinking I had the same one and would like to have another, they had a real shot at selling it but made no effort to even greet me, let alone help me.
Not a bad experience really but certainly lacking in 1) Making me feel welcomed or even wanted there, and 2) any effort towards service or sale in todays experience.
Too bad. I liked that amp but it wasnt worth interrupting your conversations over I guess.
