Not so bad today. Went in to have my blood drawn and was out within 20 mins. Maybe it was a Wednesday and no one needed lab work? There were only 2 people ahead of me. The guy drawing my blood was nice did not even feel the needle poke. I did not have an appointment my doctor just sent me on over, but I had to wait a day because I didn’t fast on the day of my doctors appointment because I didn’t know I needed blood work done.

NEVERAGAIN! My doctors office is contracted with Labcorp so the refer all patients needing laboratory services to Labcorp. Appointments are recommended but not required. I attempted to make an appointment, called the El Cajon office only to get an automated message telling me to make an appointment online or at another number. So I went online, selected date and time I needed… no appointments available! I’d like to have made an appointment but it didn’t end up happening. Woke up super early, got there before they opened and waited in line behind 4 other people. At 7:30 they unlock the door and we all file in. Sign in(funny how none of the people who had already signed in had checked the I have an appointment box, yet there was no morning appointments available) have a seat and wait for your name to be called. I waited for a half an hour, two people were seen in that time. After fasting and needing a test that takes 3 hours and no eating or drinking until the test is complete, i was feeling more than a little impatient not to mention hungry! Decided that I’m not waiting any longer, I will go elsewhere. I drove to Grossmont hospital, checked into the lab and had my blood drawn in less than 5 minutes of being there. They told me they could make sure my doctor gets my lab results. This is how a lab should be run!!! Labcorp is a joke! If your insurance allows I highly recommend using another lab. Labcorp is inefficient, understaffed and the employee at the front desk was incredibly unpleasant.

What jerks, here for a drug screen for a new job, they never say anywhere in the office or in the email sent from there office that they only do drug screens from 12 – 3 so instead of coming back they are going to «squeeze me in» after every single person getting blood drawn is done, well thanks since I’ve been holding it in since I woke up at 8, skip this place go to a real lab
