Nt Nails

Kim is a Tuesday (you’ll know what I mean if you spell out C U Next Tuesday). She’s rude and has no respect for other people’s time. I went to her for several years but one day I showed up early for my appointment and sat there for another 20 minutes, while she sat at her station on the phone eating. I said ‘hello, kim’…she said rudely ‘I am not ready for you yet!’. I got up and walked out… wanting to key her car etc. I couldn’t believe after all the business I had given her, that she would act that way. I had finally had it. I should have done that along time ago!!!

this place is ammaaazing… i dont know why there are so many bad reviews they did an amazing job… good quality good prices plus the people they make you feel like your at home… definitely one of my favorite places i recomend it :)… just so there is no confusion im using my sons account. this place is a keeper!!!

I am so sad! They ruined my nails… I came here to get my acrylic nails removed. The guy used this drill thing to remove the acrylic nails, but he went to far and removed some of my actual nail. Now my natural nails are very thin and red. They are very tender and hurt when I touch anything
The sign on the wall said it was $ 5 for removal, but when I went to pay, he said $ 7. I tried paying with my card (they had a visa sign on the door), but he said they didn’t accept it! That was all I had, so he told me he’ll accept it, but the price is now $ 8. What the heck! I will never go here again.

I’ve been going here for about… hmmm…4 years. Kim is the only person i will let touch my nails. I was so sick and tired of going to these crappy places in east county and getting a different result each time. I went to NT once and i was hooked! She does such a wonderful job on my Acrylics every time, and every design and i can go 4 weeks without a fill, and not one chip. She’s freaking amazing :)

It was nice and relaxing. Dina did a great job on my pedicure. She took her time instead of rushing. Affordable too!

I’m giving them two stars instead of one just because my nails look nice. But their polish selection is horrible… they all look clumpy and faded, like they are from 10 years ago. The lady doing my nails cut me so that sucked too. All in all prices were good but now I know why!

i USE to go to this salon a couple years ago, and i am surprised that its still in business to be honest. and by reading all the reviews, it doesnt seem like anything has changed!
I went to Kim when she worked at Nail and Tan in Lakeside… Then i followed her to her new place, NT nails.
After going there a couple times i got so annoyed! she does a great job but… she would always be eating and trying to do my nails, talking on her phone, or shed make me wait 30min when i had made an appointment. BS!
I highly doubt that the other people working there even have a real license to do nails because sometimes her husband would be doing nails… wtf…its too sketchy and i would NOT go here.

Unlike other reviewers, I didn’t have to wait forever, but my experience wasn’t good. My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas, bless his heart. The first time I went the experience was literally painful. I was left wincing every time it looked like she was reaching for the dremil drill. I still had a huge balance on my gift card so I went back, but never again after that. I could be wrong, but I don’t think having a manicure should be that painful.

If u like flare this is the place to go. I paid $ 35 for pink n white full set flare. pretty reasonable and the service was great!

Let me start by saying a few things…
1. I am a very shy person. I would never say I disliked something no matter how bad it was.
2. I had been going to NT nails1−2 times per month for about 4 years. I have never had any issue with anyone there. They all appeared to be very nice!
Until…a few days ago. I brought a friend with me. She had been looking for a new place to go and I highly recommended NT Nails. We both decided to get a pedicure. When it came time to put a design on the toe the technician went crazy! She painted the most hideous thing I have ever seen in my life. Honestly, the stranger beside me was staring in shock. Like I said, I am not picky and generally would leave it on there because I am too afraid to say anything. So, the terrible design had caught my friend’s eye by this point. She convinced me to ask the woman to change it. The lady ran over speaking another language and starting yelling at me and my friend. She told my friend to mind her own business. Then while she was redoing the design she was so rough that it hurt — she kept poking me with her nail — the entire time. When she was finished she literally stormed out of the salon.
This is an example of why I keep my mouth shut. However, I was not rude or condescending so I am upset that we were treated so rudely! I apologized at least a million times and she was still rude.
The worst part of all is that the design still looks TERRIBLE! I am staying away from designs and NT Nails in the future!

I have now filed a complaint with the BBB. I also noticed that no one seems to have their licenses posted except for Kim… I wonder if everyone is licensed? The only one that seems to have any skill is Kim. I wonder if any of the rest of them have ever been to cosmetology school. I felt I was treated in a dishonest and rude way. I will never return. I suggest anyone else who has a bad experience contact the BBB.

So i decided to try a new nail place since the place i was going to is to far now esp. with gas prices up. Well the three times i went this lady Kim was rude had me wait over 20min. (mind you i had made an appointment before hand) AND when she called for me she was rude… never tried talking to me which i tried several times and she would greet everyone that came in for her. on my b day she was soo rude so mean jerked my hand and talked in vietnamese the whole time laughing and people just rolleing their eyes. i almost got up 10 min. into it and left. i gave them 3 times to many. DON’T GO HERE. and they charge to much even though there design are neat. OH and she decided to give her self a tip on my card after i left.
