I was anxious about trying electrolysis, but Deborah did a fantastic job! This really works and it doesn’t hurt at all!

Just had my hairs cut at this fabulous salon, best hair cut I’ve gotten in years! Jessica was my cutter and she did exactly what I wanted. I’m so happy with the results!
The staff is friendly and engaging, the facility is well kept. I can’t say enough about this place, they are awesome! If you want a quality cut at a reasonable price, please visit these lovely ladies.

I don’t review on Unilocal very often but my experience with Jessica yesterday is still stuck in my mind! My sister has been seeing her for a couple years and although she has longer thicker hair than I do I always noticed how great her cuts were. Yesterday I woke up and just was over my short hair that looked blah! I have really thin hair and a chubby face. Jessica sat and talked with me about what I wanted … Brought over magazines and got to it. 30 minutes later I felt awesome! I have been to more places than I should admit to get my hair done over the last couple of months and alternating between cheap and nice salons. I’m so glad Jessica crammed me on a Friday and gave me some cute hair! I’m gonna give myself a salon break for a month or two but I’m definitely going back for color and maybe a perm :). Yes perm:). Totally reasonably priced too… Which is a plus for anyone!

I have been going to Jessica for years to get my hair done! She is absolutely amazing at what she does. I highly recommend seeing Jessica for all your hair needs!

I came here to get eyelash extensions done by I think Diane or Debbie was her name or something with a D. on Monday morning by appointment only. It was my first time getting eyelash extensions. The first thing she did was tape down my lower lashes so the top lashes don’t stick to the bottom and then she continued the process. Apparently she had allergies so she was coughing in my face and sneezing on her hands then continued glueing on the eyelashes WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. After she was done the lashes didn’t look right since they were all put on the edges and none in the middle. So I told her to put more on to even them out and I would pay extra. She forgot to tape down my lower lashes this time so my top lashes got stuck to the bottom ones and she was painfully pulling them apart. Then continued as I told her to tape down my lower lashes she was ignoring me and continued and they kept getting stuck! I told her 4 times to tape down my lashes and she refused! She was rushing because she had another client waiting so in the end she did a crappy job because a bunch of lashes were glued sideways and on my actual skin! She was very unprofessional and inexperienced. It was a waste of money because most of them I had to pull off since they were sideways or upside down! Some just fell off by themselves. I now have uneven eyelashes. Never again am I coming here for eyelash extensions. I have gotten a haircut done here once which was pretty good and which is why I’m giving this two stars.

This salon is amazing! Clean and very modern. Sharry cut and styled my hair beautifully. I had a small strip of bleached hair and she suggested I dye it pink for the summer! Such a great idea. I love it!!!

I waited to write a review here because I really had to choke down the horrible feeling I had after leaving here. Jessica and the woman who does the eyebrow tattoos (forgot her name, Diane maybe) were really nice so I have a hard time giving a less than stellar review. That being said, I was pretty unhappy with my service here. I went in on a whim to get my eyebrows tattoo’d. The lady who did them was awesome. Really nice, great conversation, extremely patient with my OCD eyebrow issues, matched my ink color perfectly, offered free touch ups, was understanding of my inflexible schedule… she did a great job and I’m picky so I was surprised. I went in for the second touch up and that’s when things went downhill. The ink color seemed to be a bit off the second time and I noticed a patch of an area that had been missed on my left eyebrow. I asked her to fill it in which I thought she did but after the healing process, I noticed that I had a ‘bald’ patch in the middle of one eyebrow. As the color faded it turned grayish instead of brown so I didn’t contact her to fix it because I was worried I’d end up with black or grey eyebrows. I’m sure if I had gone back in she would have fixed it but I was scared.
Now onto my hair… as I was walking through the salon Jessica commented on how dry my hair was and how badly I needed a conditioning treatment (I thought that was rude but was pretty horrified so I decided to get the treatment) she offered me a great price $ 25 bucks, why not??? Ugh… big mistake. It seemed to me that she just used regular old conditioner on my hair. She washed and applied and set me under the dryer… for an hour! I kept complaining that my head was to oo hot and my scalp was burning (including my freshly tattoo’d eyebrows!) she finally rinsed me out (great shampoo btw!) and as she was brushing my hair I asked her to just ‘tip the ends’ just a trim to cut off the split ends. I have naturally very curly, coarse hair so she blow dried my hair and spent ½ hour talking about ‘the art of the Curly hair cut’ I felt more comfortable that she had dried my hair… how bad can you mess up a cut when your curly hair is dry? Well, my cut was bad. Not only did she totally hack my hair, over 3 inches in some spots (which looks like 6 inches with my short hair!!) but it was VERY uneven, choppy and I now had bangs that I didn’t want or ask for. Seriously, my hair hadn’t been cut that short since high school! As I ran my hands thru my hair I noticed that my hair felt like carpet! She totally burned my hair under the dryer! It was nowhere near as soft as it should have felt after a conditioning treatment. I was damn near in tears. It was so bad that I had asked her if she could do platinum on my golden blonde/​light brown hair and she said yes… she could do it with a ‘reverse color’ instead of bleach??? Hmmmm. I had asked if she could do it that day and she said ‘you’ll have to give me a couple days’ and with that comment, and the horrible cut and damaging conditioning treatment I received, I got the impression that she needed a couple days to YouTube the process because she in fact, wasn’t sure how to bleach my hair platinum without burning it all off.
I was contacted by Jessica a few months later via text offering me discount services but I politely declined. This was an experience that I just assume I learn from instead of going back for a ‘correction’ that may very well leave me with a burnt up, short Bob.
Lesson learned.

I had the pleasant experience of getting my hair cut with highlights by Brooke. Not only did she do a great job, she took the time to help create the haircut I wanted. I was told I look like a soccer mom before and now I feel like a hot mom! Thank you Brooke! My husband loves my new look!

Do not buy a coupon! Sweet gal that works there, but they’re not happy about redeeming services. Feeling kind of ripped off! Maybe more towards the market company!

Today was the first time at this salon and I’ve got to say I love this place! We booked an appointment with Jessica to style my sisters hair for a pageant. She was very flexible and professional! She even had us come back in the middle of the day for a touch up on her curls because she genuinely cared that my sisters hair was perfect. (Indeed it was). Overall, I loved the environment, the service, the affordable pricing, and most of all, the quality of work! Thanks Jessica!

I absolutely love this salon and the girls who work at it! I have had the same girl do my hair for the past six years and when I walked into this salon Jessica showed me what a real stylist is like. I got my hair color corrected, got beautiful red, and some perfect extensions that they still take care of for me on a regular basis! They always have smiles on their faces and make me feel welcome and completely welcome! Love this place!!!

I probably had THE WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER at this place. My daughter, who is a college student, had a promotional coupon and talked me into coming with her and sharing it at Salon DeVille. It was for a haircut and highlights, but since she only needed a haircut and I needed my roots done, we decided to split the offer. My first impression of the salon was that the interior has been done by a housewife and that it was quite run down and filthy. We should have really turned around at this point!!!
But I thought, hey, how much could go wrong with a haircut and some root touch ups!?? After we talked to the hair dresser we were told that the promotional offer is for 5 foils only and that I need partial highlights, which will cost more. After that it took 3 hours, and I say it again, three full hours to do a job that usually takes 30 – 40 minutes (I have a short bob). During that time I had enough opportunity to observe the other hairdressers treating their clients and there was not one single person who left the salon with nice hair! I was horrified, sitting there with the foils in my hair and thinking, what if they mess up the color? None of the hairdressers had nice hair either, btw, which is usually a bad sign too. Anyways, my daughter had her hair cut and while she wanted layers, all she got was a better trim. A women’s haircut is $ 45 at this place, which is an insult to the trade. That’s what I used to pay at well-​known upscale salons with Vidal Sassoon trained personnel. My color came out totally uneven, since I had the product on for hours on one side of my head, and only for a short time on the other. Some of my hair was totally bleached and other parts were yellow. Needless to say, I will have to go to a good salon now and have color correction done. This place consists of a bunch of amateurs and the prices they charge are just slightly less than in «high scale» places. We ended up paying almost full price since the promotional offer «didn’t work». Seriously, I would give this place no stars. The people are not well trained and the way they treat their customers is very unprofessional. They chat with each constantly rather than holding a conversation with the client. I’ve never experienced so much unprofessionalism in one place — it was almost unreal and it’s unthinkable that a place like this can stay in business.

This spot is super clean and organized. This salon has the best hair care supplies in all of San Diego hands down! Will be shopping here again soon for sure!

Great place to have your hair done! They really care and do good job! Facial by Randi are good as well! Try it!
