Seems like one of the few Internet Café left but not worth the hassle. Games are never updated so you waste time/money updating it for them if it’s even working in the first place. Their systems go down frequently. The biggest issue is the rude middle eastern group that acts like they run the place. They blatantly ignore the rules and staff has said they are not to be punished. So go ahead if half working machinery and 10+ middle eastern that only play counter strike as the terrorists screaming their heads off is your thing

I have used Startech Computers for over 10 years! I worked as an IT Director for a busy Healthcare company and I purchased hundreds of systems from Startech. I could spec out systems, order what I needed and they worked with me and our business and actually cared about us succeeding in what we were doing! The over the counter service, troubleshooting and repairs was the best I’ve found in the business! I’m a fan and customer for life… I highly recommend them for your computer, server, and IT needs. Thanks Wendy and Jonathan!

Have done some business with them with my IT side gigs. Customer service is good. Place is a little dark and dingy though inside but its a gaming center too. They sell some unique parts that you cannot find at Best Buy or some other retailers which is nice too.

The Customer service and follow up has been accurate and courteous. I had a bad experience before but Johnathon turned things around. Ask for him if you get a chance.

I’ve went here for awhile just for the simple fact no cyber cafes are close to me. But I will finally stop going, I expressed the the workers there, the game I was trying to play was locking up making of difficult to play, so I left because the situation was not high on their response list, a week later same issue, same response… Three weeks later there was still a problem and I didn’t bring it up again I just left, I won’t be spending my money there anymore. Their lack of response and communication with me is why I will no longer be a patron here. Homeless people charging this phones and big loud groups, I’ve been proposed with buying drugs is all part of the atmosphere this shop harbors as a qualitative property of buisness, good luck to them but think twice before you bring kids or younger adults.

I took my laptop there for a repair. They fixed it using a technique called reflow. A few months later it had the same problem so I researched the technique and it’s widely known that this technique is a temporary fix. I might buy new parts from them but I won’t have them repair anything or recommend them anymore.

The staff here is very good at what they do especially Mat. Binary rift gaming is awesome! The computers are extremely fast! Prices are very good for gaming and for parts and services. Everyone here is very attentive, there’s always someone ready to help you as soon as you walk in the door.

I had the store replace a motherboard and then apparently, the fan needed to be replaced –not sure if it was because of the mother board or what, but the fan is incredibly loud –I have had to go back several times for different computer issues and I have been disappointed about their ability to cut costs for repeat customers having repeat and numerous problems. Some problems didn’t exist before getting it fixed and their 30 day warrantee policy is followed, but if your like me and don’t use your lab top daily(I have a wk lap top I use more frequently) it may not be long enough to discern if your computer was fixed properly. I don’t feel like they go above and beyond where they should — esp for repeat customers frequent problems. Staff are civil but not warm/friendly and more time could be spent explaining repairs and problems.

I have used startech in the past and I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to get their computers fixed. They are honest and the staff is great. Especially Wendy! A few years ago I took my desktop computer in because I had a virus they fixed it for cheap and even installed a free antivirus program that I would have never known about without going through them. I haven’t had any problems with my desktop since. I recently had some issues with my laptop and took it in. I was stressed with the turn around time because I was going through finals but Wendy worked with me and to make sure I had what I needed for finals week! I wouldn’t take my computers any where else! Great service at startech!

Binary Rift is fine. Note that is strictly a review of Startech Computers, the computer«repair» store. Before Startech will agree to work on your computer, you have to sign a contract. Standard. But this contract say’s that ANY problem with the computer they can’t be held liable for, doesn’t matter if it’s new or old. Me and two other friends have used startech to get our computers«fixed» and just had other parts broken and told we had to replace them. COINCIDENTALLY all 3 of us had to replace THREE parts in our computers. Yaaaa, big coincidence, fucking low lives. Ya, it’s pretty obvious this shit hole gets bad business and in a desperate attempt to increase their sales is breaking peoples parts. They are basically car mechanics but worse. I’m about 95% sure they are borderline criminal(unfortunately it’s not criminal because they contract they have you sign) but there is also the 5% chance that it’s all one big crazy coincidence. But nope, don’t do business with these people. Don’t sign a contract. Email me and I’LL diagnose and fix your computer. Don’t let these crooks hold your electronics.

Wendy, the manager is very courteous and helpful. Aaron, the techspert is knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. At my age, 80, computerese is my second language. Efficient, local tech support is comfortable… without talking to someone who is attempting to speak English on the phone from somewhere around the world. JWR 9÷27÷2013

The people at Startech are the best. I have been taking my computers there for years when I have problems with them. They have always been able to fix them, and usually they do a few extra things too. I am very pleased with the quality fo their work. I am also happy that I have options for rush service if I need it. I think the prices are very reasonable. I am thankful to have a quality repair shop so close by. I always know I can depend on Startech. Thank you!

I’ve used Startech in the past for repair work on my laptop… based on their«service», I thought I would give them another try after shattering my laptop screen. I was quoted $ 200-$ 300 for a new screen in addition to another $ 100 for installation, and if my laptop was more than 2 yrs old, they suggested I should just purchase another. I guess it pays to be a savvy shopper, as I found a site online that I could purchase a replacement screen for $ 89AND it showed me exactly how to install it myself. Seems that honesty and reasonable rates would gain you more customers, especially in these times… hence my 2-star rating.
