Pizza is great, i like his sauce. And there isnt much wait time which is great. Go there and try his meat lovers pizza. Hot and ready in minutes.

Best Pizza around!!! I love the quality and amazing Anti pasta salad! The italian dressing is made in house! They have the best Cannolis in San Diego, even better than anything I’ve found in little Italy!

I walked in here and I loved the cheese calzone I got! It came with 4 different kinds of cheeses which made it really flavorful and the consistency was perfect, soft and not too chewy, but not spilling out like molten lava either! The crust was delicious, soft and bready enough to contain the cheese.

So … I paid $ 7 for 2 slices of pizza on uncooked dough and generic pepperoni with about 2 tablespoons of cheese. The red peppers on the table looked like they had been there since the place opened. There was not one ounce of «pizza» flavor on my pizza. I read the other reviews that the other food was good but I’d rather drive to project pie or any where else. I believe Pete the owner was the one that made the pie… Super nice guy. But the pizza unfortunately is disgusting.

I was first introduced to Thats Amore at the Mira Mesa branch I was so excited to see this here when I moved to Rancho San Diego! Hands down best pizza and subs I have ever had in San Diego! And I’m a total pizza junkie so if you haven’t tried it you HAVETOOSOON!!! Great family owned spot that my boyfriend and I and the kids absolutely love!!! Just wish I would remember about the coupons every now and then.

First time here… Food is great! tastes amazing, no complains there. Only reason why I am rating so low is because the price of the bottle soda. $ 2.95 per 16 oz bottle!!! that seems a bit stingy but I guess I should have asked before i bought it. Next time ill just buy a 2 liter from 7 eleven which would come out cheaper than 2 bucks.

Last night I met Pete(the owner) and his better half last night for the first time. And that was a joke! They are both very friendly and personable people. Plus their pizza was really good! Not to thin, not to thick. The sauce was a little to spicy for my sons taste, but good. The cheese was fresh and so were the toppings. I will definitely go back.

The nice man at the counter, I believe to be the owner is always so pleasant. The inside of the restaurant can get a little warm but the pizza is always amazing.

Pete is the owner and let me tell you after reading Unilocal reviews I feel like I already knew him. We walked right in, an hour before they close and got the most amazing 12″ Pesto Pizza with Chicken, large antipasto salad(it’s 2 small salads in separate containers with their homemade Italian dressing on side), tiramisu(which he doesn’t make there) and cactus cooler soda(omg I haven’t drank this since I was a kid) and clementine sanpellegrino drink. We felt very welcomed there and Pete and his wife were all smiles and super accommodating. Packed our order so neatly to take out. It was absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to come back!

Pete and Grace have made this place wonderful. Great food at reasonable pricing, service is impeccable and the location is perfect. I often treat myself to the antipasto salad. It’s so big, I can get 2 or sometimes 3 meals.

Super friendly guy working there. I was trying to find a new place to get pizza from that was in the vicinity of my house. Pizza was great even after sitting in the oven at 170 degrees for two hours.(not recommended) I can’t wait to give this place another chance.

Can’t believe it took me 5 years to try this place. It’s a simple pizza shop but they have excellent pizza and customer service. The salad is very fresh and good too. Ordered catering for a birthday party from here, and the owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. Everyone loved the food. This will be my go-to pizza place from now on! Only wish they delivered. Thank you so much!

I have no idea how I’ve lived in the area for so long and never thought to try this little place. My boyfriend recently moved to the area and was desperately looking for a good pizza place to try. He found this place on Unilocal so we gave it a shot and oh my gosh it is soooo good. The pepperoni pizza was fantastic and so was the Cannoli. I’m not even usually a huge fan of Cannoli’s but this was to die for. The customer service was excellent as well. The guy who works there is super nice and even reminded me to put any leftover Cannoli in the refrigerator to make sure it would be good the next day. Ever since we went the first time we’ve been craving more Pizza from this place so we went again last night and it was just as good as the first time. So glad I finally discovered this place, but bummed out that I could have been eating here for years!

My husband and I love this place! He’s been a customer for 15 years and absolutely loves their calzones. I quote, «Best calzone ever!» And I love their pizzas– my favorite pizza crust ever! Another thing we love is the house salad– packed with veggies and delicious home-made Italian dressing. Lastly, the owners are great– super friendly family and they go that extra mile for their customers.

It doesn’t get more homemade than this, people. I’ve been coming here for years now and it’s always been delicious! From the sauce to the loads of cheese(not too much cheese) and all the toppings you can add, this pizza is legit. The manager and only employee is always on site, respectful and courteous. Whatever you guys are doing«That’s a more» please KEEPDOINGIT!

Soft crust, cheesy toppings;) very good homemade Italian pizza! Ps owners are from cicily, Italy! It’s great to support family businesses!

I have been here a few times now and each time I was not in any way disappointed! Currently I am eating the turkey and cheese sandwich & fries and it is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a very long time! I tried one based on the Unilocal reviews and so glad I did, I’ve only had the pizza before now and it was just as good! The manger is super friendly too, that’s just the topping on the delicious pizza pie that is Amore! They gained a regular! good food and nice people… brings you back every time!

Was driving around East county and this pizza popped up with great reviews on Unilocal.I enjoy supporting small business owners, so I gave them a shot. I called in my order ahead, they had no online menu but luckily a Unilocaler posted their menu on the photos. The nice lady quoted me 30 minutes. So I showed up in thirty minutes just like she said, they had not even made my pizza yet, let alone got it into the oven. The place was completely dead, there was only one order ahead of mine. How do you not know your cook times after fifteen years? The guy told me ten minutes more, which turned into twenty-twenty five minutes of waiting in the dining area. Then I decided to pay and saw the good olé«we hate taking credit cards» fee, luckily I had cash on me. The two owners were quite pleasant people, very polite. I ordered a 12″ speciality pizza, garlic cheese bread and a cannoli to go. The order came to $ 27.00. Holy cow this is expensive stuff, a little pricey for east county place. The garlic cheese bread was nothing special, didn’t even finish it. Just a simple Italian loaf cut into two with garlic on it. Didn’t care for it at all. The pizza its self was quite good, the toppings were plentiful, good cheese and sauce ratio. The sauce was amazingly great tasting sauce. The crust was cooked to perfection. I absolutely loved the pizza, it just tasted so fresh. The pizza here is no joke, its good stuff. The cannoli was huge! I couldn’t believe how big that sucker was. The cannoli was a great way to end the meal, it was very delightful. Overall, this place has some hit and miss items. They need to work on their quoting of times, and maybe adjust their pricing a bit to compete with the surrounding places. The pizza is something I would definitely come back to try though.
