Elke is an incredible important part of my life. I go once a month, and have for about year. I feel like I get an amazing and important tune up every time I go. I have done Pancha Karma and then monthly maintance massages with her. Thanks to her I feel balanced and energized. She has deep knowledge about healing — she is constantly teaching me new techniques to keep my body, mind and spirit in balance. If I come to her really jacked up in my body or mind, she knows what to say and do in order to help me get balanced again. Her massages are amazing, she is a true professional. There would be a huge hole in my life without Elke.

Elke is a pluri-​disciplinary queen and she masters all areas. I have used Elke for Ayurvedic consultations, massage therapy, facial, and life coaching. She is able to custom-​make every session so her clients get the best out of their time and money. She has an extensive knowledge of Ayurveda and was able to make dietary and lifestyle adjustments based on my body type, which were instrumental in reclaiming my health.
With regards to massage therapy, she gives massages that are out of this world! The best I have ever had and I have had quite a few… The technique she uses is Ayurvedic, with long strokes and warm oil to relax the body and calm the nervous system down. She uses all kinds of modalities: acupressure, reflexology, marma points, essential oils, cupping, hot stones, chanting, etc. She works out of her private office, which makes the experience even more exclusive.
I look forward to every session I have with her and visit her regularly. As a Health Coach myself I appreciate the fact that it is essential for the nurturer to be nurtured and recharged. Self-​care is ultimate, especially in today’s stressful and demanding world. Her work goes beyond taking care of the body, as she infuses every session with wisdom to support the mind and spirit as well. She goes above and beyond to meet the clients needs.
She is professional, knowledgeable, realistic, efficient and generous with her time and skills. I highly recommend her services!

Shakti Healing is a hidden gem. The massages from Elke are so great that I am willing to cross the bridge for them. Elke always has the newest technologies and knows what I need. I would absolutely recommend her! Hard to find an energy healer as good as her.

When I started seeing Elke Savala I had no experience with Ayurveda — and I had never even had a massage!

I have had a series of massages and treatments over the past couple of years with Elke and they have been wonderful. You leave with a whole new lease on life. The full oil massage is a revelation, and I recommend that a newbie start with that, and a consultation.
Elke is not a clock-​watcher and really cares about her clients. She is clearly not in it for the money You can tell that right away.

Elke also practices color puncture, something that’s popular in Europe but difficult to find in the US.

I highly recommend Elke for your pets. Though she is not a vet, she is a good person to consult if you are interested in exploring Ayurveda principles that can be applied to animals. I had called Elke based on the positive Unilocal reviews, to see if she could help my dog who suffers from allergies. She came to my house and brought with her natural gels, oils and herbs, and applied those to my dog’s itchy skin. He definitely benefited from the treatment and recommendations Elke made. She took detailed notes of everything I do for my dog, including what cleaners and detergents I use in my home. She keeps it simple, and she doesn’t try to sell you any products, which I really appreciate.

I’ve been seeing Elke regularly for about a year, and I can defintely say she’s helped me improve the quality of my life. Ayurvedic massage is fantastic, but that’s just the beginning. She’s also guided me on managing stress and improving my diet. She is very generous with her time and her advice is rock solid.

Yes I agree with the other reviewers; Elke is the best kept secret in Bay Area holistic medicine. I had to locate her by googling and now that I have found her I am going to stick with her. Her treatments are exquisite, her knowledge is extensive, her care is incomparable. She never ceases to amaze me and I have never come across a health practicioner with such eye for detail — and at very reasonable rates. Elke is the real thing!!!

I have been going to Elke for over 3 yrs now and finally I decided to put my selfish motives of keeping her to myself, aside… and doing the right thing, which is give her the praise that she truly deserves!!!

Okay so I was getting burnt out with writing reviews on Unilocal and I decided to stop for awhile. Now my new rule is I’m going to Unilocal if I believe the place of business deserves 5 stars or 2 stars. Well I am coming out of hibernation for Shakti Healing and Elke. Like the previous reviewer, she is right. Elke is the best holistic practitioner and healer in the Bay Area. I found Elke through my massage therapist who recommend me to go see her since I was looking for some alternative medicine treatments to cleanse and clear my mind. Her knowledge with herbs and Ayurvedic healing is incredible! I went through, with her guidance, on a 9 day Pancha Karma cleanse treatment and lost some weight while seeing all the toxins and all the bad bacteria come out of me. It was the most rejuvenating experience for my mind and body and I would recommend anyone who is looking to clear their mind and unclog any channels they may have with their bodies with Elke. I do forewarn you that the treatment is intense but if you can stick with it all the way through, you will see and feel a big difference. I don’t know why others that have gone to her has not Unilocaled her but maybe it’s because she is the best kept secret to holistic medicine.

It truly has been an amazing experience. Elke is one of the most genuine and sincere human beings I know. I could tell when I met her, that she was extremely knowledgeable and talented. I was skeptical about Ayurveda, but Elke is making the transition to a healthier lifestyles comfortable and at a manageable pace. She is helping us understand the benefits to our physical and mental well-​being in addition to showing us great and affordable ways to substitute food items. The massage techniques and knowledge of the total body and mind is outstanding. I would recommend Elke to anyone!

Elke Savala is an incredible Holistic Healer. After a painful back injury she was able to get me up and running with Ayurvedic massage and bodywork. As part of an Ayurvedic Consultation, she recommended herbal remedies that where very helpful too.
