From California visiting El Paso, my husband and I wanted to come out and have a drink. We decided to come here and was very happy. They have live music every night which is awesome. The customer service was superb and the people were very nice. The drinks were delicious as well. I would recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately, we didn’t order food so I can’t comment on that.

We had breakfast there this morning and it was great. Amazing service and very attentive staff, which is very impressive given how busy it was Sunday morning. I had a fresh fruit platter, menudo and steak with eggs. All great, they even have several fresh juices like carrot juice.

If you are debating whether or not to eat here, you can safely order the fried ice cream and the queso fundido but do not order anything else, you will be disappointed. There are much better Mexican food options for less money.(El Cometa)

First time here and I already want to come back. The music is beautiful and enjoyed listening to it. Me and my. girlfriend ordered the enchiladas which was very delicious. Cant wait to come back and try their other entrees.

We were in the area so we decided to give them a chance at redemption. For details see my last 1 star review. A very pleasant surprise. The service and food were very good. Lydia did an excellent job of restoring our faith here. The enchiladas Montada will not challenge Kikis but won’t elicit a complaint either. Salsa is a good topping for the eggs. The potatoes can stay in the kitchen. I really like the warm cheese filled sesame bun that is brought out early. They are redeemed so I’ll be back.

We’ve been here a few times, and I think it’s pretty standard for the type of Mexican food you find around here. The food is good, place is clean and colorfully decorated. My husband loves the tacos Andale, and they have a decent selection on their kids menu. I’d give it 4 stars except that the place is SOLOUD! We’ve been there a couple of times when there has been a live Marachi band. While nice and authentic looking and sounding, they were so loud that my head was pounding, and we were in the back room. Even when the band stopped, their background music was particularly loud. Not a place to go if you want to hold any kind of conversation. Likely won’t go back.

Don’t even bother. Unless you’re going for a margarita or their fried ice cream, don’t bother. You can get better flautas at Cometa, and for $ 9.50… These were gross and so small. I couldn’t even finish them. The inside was burnt, very burnt. DeliMex flautas are better. My beans and rice also had a funny smell and taste to them. It was my first time there and now I know why my family has never ate there. The service is exceptional, our server was the best, so friendly, so funny, just great. What really annoyed me was the manager not apologizing for my food tasting so bad, at least an I’m sorry but the man got offended and just reached his arm to get my plate. When we left, the manager was by the door, we all said thanks and he did not look up or reply. Very unprofessional and rude.

Stopped by for lunch after ordering custom boots at Alex boots. We ordered off the lunch menu and the portions are huge! We all enjoyed our food and we will definitely stop by next time we are in El Paso.

I ordered the plato mexicano… 1 cheese enchilada with red sauce, chile reno, and shredded beef taco. The sauce was gross. It must have has cinnamon in it or something sweet. Beans and rice weird weird as well. Salsa was nasty too… The only reason I would go back is to have a margarita the size of my head. Other than that, DISGUSTING.

I would have given them 5 stars if I didn’t have to smell the cleaner from the mop(they were mopping the floor while we waited to eat). Very nice and large restaurant. Waitress was very attentive. The lone star breakfast was huge(bring your appetite). They give you bread with stuffed with cream cheese(yum) and handmade flour tortillas(double yum). I ordered Huevos Rancheros very good served with potatoes/salsa. They have a large selection for breakfast. Huge plates of food… Come hungry, leave full!!!

Food is good I had the fish tacos and they were excellent the only warning is don’t try to drink two of their large margaritas or you may wake up in Juarez I got drunk enough to almost go at midnight lol

Well I was kinda of disappointed. This place was well recommended by a couple of friends Ok Huevos rancheros were cold as the sauce was creamy not saucy had a weird taste to it . The selection is plentiful but not savory . Tortillas were about 3 inches round, I had three orders LOL My daughters pancakes were burned on one side. The coffee was warm The service was good though very attentive.

I got stuck in El Paso with some coworkers and the hotel recommended this place. We had a great time! The atmosphere is fun and lively and the décor is cheeky and amusing. There was live entertainment and a mariachi band roaming around. The food was great and the drinks were… well, insane? I asked for a large margarita and a few minutes later our waiter returned with an aquarium sized margarita glass, filled with about a gallon of booze, and with flames literally shooting out the top. It was SO funny. Friendly staff, good food, lively entertainment, and crazy drinks. I will definitely come back here next time I’m in ELP.

Wow! I went to wash my hands after leaving a $ 2 tip because the food is terrible and I left a note stating that it was not good because the waitress didn’t do anything. When I came out they were speaking about me in Spanish. I guess they don’t think that white people know how to speak Spanish! SOLUCKY I HADTOLEAVETOARIZONA. NOCLASS. Maybe because it was lunch and not dinner? Horchata was good. Everything else was not that great. Atmosphere is awesome so it has some serious potential if they up their food game. Found a HUGE bone in my tamale that looked like it was a month old. No apology. Rice was not impressive. The beans smelled rancid. Too bad. I was VERY excited to eat here and actually put my schedule off by an hour to do so.

Probably has the best salsa I have tried in El Paso yet! It’s not too spicy and full of chiles. Definitely good. I ordered a plate with a beef taco, chicken taco, chicken& green enchilada, cheese&red enchilada and two flautas with guacamole and beans and rice… A TONOFFOOD! The chicken taco was good, beef was okay, enchiladas were alright and flautas were flautas kind of hard to mess up. Guacamole was delicious!!! So good! Service here is fast! The waiter was nice and checked on me a lot. There is live music on a Tuesday, it’s all Spanish but it’s not annoying! Overall it’s a cute place to eat and has decent food. I enjoyed my dinner and the atmosphere of the restaurant. I will definitely return to this place.

So finally, after being in El Paso for 5 days, we eat Mexican food. Now understand, we are from Japan, so IF we find Mexican ish food at all, it’s usually in the form of sizzling fajitas at Chili’s lol… So while some El Paso natives might not be on the Andales band wagon… For us out of towners, this food was dope! It’s very colorful. The décor was great. Full house too for a Sunday night, but we were seated right away in a nice booth. The staff was very friendly and very attentive! The even had a dude singing live… And while we don’t speak the language, the songs must’ve been good because several guests were singing along and really enjoying it. Even an older waiter was dancing with several ladies lol, super cool. And the singer often made it over to a lady that HAD to have been in her 90s, and he took her hand and sang to her. I ain’t never seen an old woman so happy in my life. Everyone in the place was just smiles ear to ear. Super good environment. We(a gringo and his Japanese wife) LOVEDTHEFOODOMG! My wife had chicken Caesar salad that was presented very well and large enough to be the actual entrée! She also had some kind of soup. A tortilla soup as we know it but had a different name. Even though the soup and the salad seem like sides, she couldn’t finish either. I had tacos de pollo. Sooooo good! Came with frijoles y rice. We also ordered the queso fundido… We didn’t know if we should have corn or flour tortillas, so we got both. It was all good, but the flour we liked best. The queso fundido had chorizo in it. Delicious. I also ordered a horchata, and loved every cinnamony sip of it. The bus boys and waitresses were working hard but also being very helpful and friendly. No slacking was seen on this night. They had a bar in the front that people were watching football and sounded like having a good time. I like that the bar is separated from the dining area. So you can party down of you want, but if you don’t want too, you aren’t subjected to it. A friendly fellow was roaming the room selling roses. We would’ve bought one but we don’t get our house until Monday so a nice rose is wasted on the hotel room. The menu was very large. We giggled a little as They wen had sushi available, but as we know it wasn’t really sushi… It’s the typical«roll» style that we’ve noticed is what is passed for sushi in te states. But hey they had it, and that’s cool just to see the effort of a diverse menu! Even had pasta! Overall we are FORSURE coming back. Pie first«Mexican food» experience was at Andales and so far El Paso did not disappoint! And I know I know people are gonna tell me there’s better in El Paso and some might even say it’s not real lol, but for all the nay Sayers, let me know about your fav Japanese spot with some bogus name like shogun or Tokyo and I’ll give you a 1hr lecture on how it’s bogus starting with why is a Chinese guy making sushi and btw, not even using vinegar with he rice etc etc lol. So for this gringo and his gringo belly and my Japanese wife who loves cilantro, we give Andales from staff to décor, food to price, 4 stars … Vamos a la comer guay! いただきます

You will be FULL by the time you leave! I’ve tried to order a new item each time I go and have yet to be disappointed. Service is a little on the slow side, expect to wait for your water a little longer than usual. The menu is a little confusing considering I don’t speak/read Spanish but the wait staff is always willing to help out. Only negative would be how LOUD the dining room is. The live singers always interrupt a conversation will a loud spanish song but it somehow fits the atmosphere Go for the food not the conversation.
