Definitely, our favorite restaurant. Even our kids say, «That place is the best place to eat. We love it there!» Its a combination of great atmosphere, delicious, fresh food and superior service that makes this place a must if you’ve never been. This family owned café serves their food quickly and with a flair that makes you feel like a regular, even if you’re not. AMAZING!

This is a nice hidden jewel here in northeast El Paso. I had the sessa panini with the tuna pasta salad and was not disappointed at all. The place also has some of the best customer services I’ve seen here in El Paso.

How could we drove by this place 3 – 4 times a week for YEARS and never even know this place was there!?? Excellent service(we had the owner to start with then another waiter. Both excellent. Asked us lots of questions and gave suggestions on what to try) Excellent food. I had the vegetarian panni(spinach, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, roasted peppers and provolone… with prosciutto added and some hummus on the side), the tuna pasta and a salad with a honey mustard dressing. My husband had the meatball, pepperoni, provolone and spinach panini with the mustard potato salad and a salad with raspberry walnut vinaigrette. We went half and half and neither of us could decide which we liked best! Prices: very very reasonable. The paninis were $ 7 — $ 8 with a soup or salad and a side! The menu is very limited(6 hot sandwiches, 5 cold sandwiches. 6 salads and some soup. A small breakfast menu and a few desserts). The place would be fun with a group or intimate enough for a couple. We WILL be back!

Thanks to reviews on Unilocal,my wife and I tried Buon Giorno Caffe today for lunch. We had the paninis, they are very good. My wife had the chicken with the tuna pasta and I had the meatball with potato salad. The food is delicious and the the drinks are really good. The service is excellent. We will definitely make this a regular place. We plan to work our way around the menu. Thanks

Don’t be fooled by the location, this place is truly a hidden gem! I’ve been three times so far and all three times have been lovely. It’s family owned and operated, which is a nice change of pace from a typical chain restaurant. The staff is always very kind and the service is quick, even when they’re busy. The food is also great, I typically go for their vegetarian panini and potato salad. It’s light, fresh, and very tasty. If you haven’t already, I would absolutely recommend checking this place out!

Went here for lunch today. Place is unassuming, décor not so great but service is deff great. We were greeted right away with drinks were served within a minute of sitting down. Peach tea was outstanding by the way! Ordered the vegetarian panini but had them add chicken as I know my husband will be eating half of it. He always complains about the lack of meat on dishes I order. The bread they used was okay. It reminded me of a big hawaiian roll. Not sure if I liked that. I wish they could’ve used a much heartier bread. The stuff inside is great. I could deff state all the ingredients they used and everything was fresh. The side salad’s dressing was light and tasted great. I just wished they would’ve put something more than just lettuce and tomatoes on the salad. The sour cream potato salad was also good. They used the same bread on the enzo panini so you know how I feel about the bread already but I thought it was nice that they would add pepperoni with no extra charge. Enzo tasted good. My hubby enjoyed all the meat inside it. The tuna pasta salad was creamy and had lots of tuna in it. It would’ve been better it if was chilled more. Great service, older decoration, good food and the food is priced just right. Deff a good spot for a light lunch.

Had a very nice and warm, friendly environment. I felt very welcomed the moment I walked in. We got take out that only took 10 minutes to make. My mom was very happy with the size of the salad and I LOVED the Francesca Panini.

I simply love this place. I’ve been here several times and it’s fantastic. Two of my favorite are the tuna sandwich for lunch and the Giovanni croissant sandwich for breakfast. Their tea is always freshly brewed and deliciously refreshing. I highly recommend it!

Found this spot thru Unilocal and I’m glad we did. Food was on point and the service was exceptional. My wife had the sessa panini and I had the Francesca with the potato soup which was delicious. Then we enjoyed a piece chocolate cake that was a perfect ending to a great meal. You must swing by and try. Next on my list will definitely be the salmon on croissant which looks amazing in the photos.

I’ve been to this spot several times with friends and with family. The staff here is the best you can get! The spot isn’t the biggest but they can accommodate a party of 2 or a party of 10 if you go when they aren’t busy already. Great home like vibe here. The portion sizes are big and you get a variety– soup, salad, sandwich with your meal. I’ve stuck to my veggie panini but have tried several of their soups and salads without disappointment. What really sets this place apart from the rest is the staff, fresh ingredients, and the BREAD! The bread is so good!

I absolutely love it here. Small, simple restaurant. Has an Italian feel. :) our waiter was enthusiastic and really knowledgeable about their food. He was super patient with us too! I got the Sessa panini since most Unilocalers got it and I wasn’t disappointed! You get a side and salad with your panini! Green tea is awesome. It’s awesome to try something new in El Paso and this is the place to go for a spontaneous food outing!

This place is great! Found this place through Unilocal,as I was in that area. Had the Sessa panini and it was delicious, it comes with a side salad and you get to choose a side(the tuna pasta is amazing!) My mom had the chicken salad croissant, and she loved it. The salad had sliced almonds which gave it a completely different flavor!

Okay readers, don’t hate me! Honestly, it was just a-ok for me. I wasn’t completely impressed with the sandwiches/sides– it was good, don’t get me wrong. It just wasn’t amazing! I was super excited to try this place because of all the great reviews. The restaurant has a nice homey feel and the servers are friendly. You seat yourself, so pick a table and don’t stand around looking like an awkward idiot. Not that I did that or anything… I got the veggie panini, tuna pasta, and a side salad. It was all good and perfect portions for lunch. I might come back if I’m in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

OOOOOOHMYGEEEEEEEEERD! I flippin’ love this place! Period. End review. Haha no that would be so unfair of me to rant about the«ehhhhhh» business’s, but only spare two sentences and a word for the most amazingly, delicious Italian café in El Paso. So I will write away about my new favorite quaint northeast café. The food junkie that I am, I’m always dragging people to places they’ve never heard of and forcing them to eat things they’ve never imagined. Yes, I get a kick out of this, but my heart is in the right place. I just have a passion for [ridiculously great] food and adventure that I love sharing with my family and friends. I did a quick innie-minnie-miney-moe and landed on El Papa… only the toughest food critics I’ve ever met. Okay, maybe I was already at his house and we were hungry, but I swear he is hard on restaurants. Of the hundreds(maybe thousands) of places we’ve eaten at, there have only been two places he’s been enthusiastic about… both out of town. So after talking him out of the ridiculously packed IHOP that just opened in the NE, he said, «Okay where are we going to eat then?» And then he grumbled something about not picking something on Mesa. Unilocal to the rescue! I searched nearby, scanned a couple of reviews and said, «Buon Geeegeeerio-something Caffe.» I could sense his skepticism, but he humored me anyway. We pulled into the parking lot and his face read less than impressed. We walked inside and the cute, yet cheesy Italian decorations did not charm the pants off of him. I ordered an Italian soda and then he thought he was being clever so he asked for an ITALIAN water. The waitress smiled and said, «Okay,» because it turns out they do serve Italian water. He quickly changed his drink order to «El Paso water.» Yes, he specifically asked for El Paso water. The menu is smaller, but I appreciate that. It lets me know they’ve mastered all dishes available. We caught our server as she was getting off her shift, but another server(possibly an owner… I’m still unsure) came over and made a few recommendations and also let us know what the most popular dishes are. My dad landed on the Potato Soup and the Enzo Panini with the Tuna Salad. Unfortunately he didn’t share the soup, but he did speak highly of it. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Sandwich on a croissant with the Mustard Potato Salad. The sides are very… homely. You know nothing extravagant, but it just compliments the plate well. The sandwiches… OHEMGEE! Can I have one everyday? Seriously! There aren’t enough words. I just loved it. Perfect. Light. Filling(an oxymoron, I know). Delicious. The salmon was fresh… apparently even in a desert you can get great salmon. And you know what? Even though the salad was fairly simple, I’m a huge fan! The vinaigrette was what really made it so tasty. I left full. So did my dad and that never happens. And he left raving about this place. So for any place that can get me along with El Papa hooked definitely earns a 5 star rating!

Cute Italian Café on the Northeast side of town. It’s a nice place and it does feel a lot like you’re walking into a relatives house for a meal. There are some bigger tables for larger groups as well. My girlfriend and I decided to go with a few sandwiches. I got the Enzo Panini($ 6.75) containing Meatball, Provolone and Fresh Spinach. I was asked if I wanted to add Pepperoni and I did. Wow, that was a nice suggestion by the waitress. The meatballs were cut in half, so the sandwich wasn’t hard to eat and the flavors were wonderful. The pepperoni also enhanced the experience. I had potato chips and they were good too. Next we got the Chicken Salad sandwich($ 6.25) with a side salad which was also quite good. The Chicken salad had a subtle sweetness, with a wonderful almond flavor. It was very well made and the Croissant was also quite fresh. The side salad was nice as well. It came with a very nice raspberry walnut vinaigrette. There was actually a slight difference in the order than we realized as we had originally ordered the Sessa Panini($ 6.95) Grilled Chicken, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Provolone and Fresh Spinach. The Chicken Salad sandwich was so tasty we didn’t even realize it until the pointed it out. They fixed the order and gave us a free Sessa Panini even though we were fine with the order we now had. Wow, that has never happened to me before, so I really appreciated their effort. That may be the best customer service I’ve ever had. For dessert we bought the chocolate cake($ 2.50). I think this is the best deal for any dessert in the area as the slice is more than enough to share with a friend or two. It’s a wonderfully rich, chocolate cake and a wonderful way to finish the meal. They are closed on Sundays, which I really respect. If you want to support a very nice family establishment that has wonderful food, this is definitely the place.

First of all, this is a quality restaurant. I was completely satisfied with the service and the food quality, also a worthy mention is the customer service and the cleanliness can be considered the cream of the crop. Customer service is made up of the family members of this restaurant, which includes the owner. They greet the customers by name and even acknowledge them when they are leaving. First impressions of the restaurant were great. The décor is classy and also has a vintage calm setting. Which even looked more beautiful with the rain on the outside! it definitely is a hidden gem that needs to be publicized and broadcasted. The plate I had was a Vegetarian panini with chicken. Yes… I did add the chicken to a vegetarian dish, but it was suggested by the waiter. Which resulted in a great combination! The potato soup was rich in flavor and very creamy. The side salad is fresh with green leaf lettuce and cherry tomatoes with an onion dressing.
