Craw Oyster Bar

I used to visit this bar weekly for a few, reasonably priced beers. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were always mediocre, but not bad. This last week, there was an issue with my tab. I had already tipped out once to compensate the afternoon shift bartender and ultimately paid out in the evening and was incorrectly charged. I asked to speak to the general manager regarding this issue– not because I didn’t understand, but strictly to make it known to him and avoid further issues such as this. After being incorrectly notified who the «GM» was and speaking to two different, unhelpful managers, I spoke to who I understood was in charge. I explained the fact that if this were a different situation, that charging someone the full amount of an incorrect tab could prohibit their ability to pay for the correct tab. His response to me was «Well what do you want me to do about it?»… After being insulted for complaining about being wrongly charged, we notified management that we would not be coming back. After this, a gentleman who was buying the entire bar multiple rounds of shots caught drift of our lack of satisfaction, and only at this time did management attempt to speak to me.
Needless to say, I will not be revisiting this establishment and can only hope they learn something, anything really, about customer service.

Management is terrible and extremely rude. After a problem with being double charged the manager didn’t seem to care to fix the problem. I used to come fairly often with friends but unfortunately I won’t be back nor will I recommend this bar to anyone else.

Maybe it’s because I am out of state but i was appalled at the shrimp cocktail happy hour item that came in a cup with cocktail sauce that was like ketsup. The shrimp tacos were less than mediocre. Igave 2 stars because the waitress was sweet and the place liked kinda cool– do yourself a favor and just go for the drinks and pass on the food. BTW… this place is an oyster bar-​they ran out of oysters and it was only 6pm! WTF?

Had a great time at this small oyster bar. We sat at the bar, ordered some drinks and had baked oysters, Pico de Gallo style. They were delicious! My brother said his Bloody Mary was on point, too. A Dive bar with great music, attentive and friendly staff, and right across the street from The Comic Strip. I’ll definitely be going back.

I’m typically not a fan of neighborhood bars or «hole-​in-​the-​wall» joints, but this place has definitely won me over. I’m not sure if it’s the influence my brother has had, or the simplistic and friendly nature of this bar; however, I like it! They are not stingy on their oyster shooters, their barmaids are friendly (and some cute), and their specials are definitely «special.»
If you’re in the neighborhood, check it out. Go local! That’s what I say! (;

This is the kid of place I hope to find when I’m lookin for a bar on Unilocal.Small place with lots of character, and very very friendly staff. The bartender even made her favorite drink for us all to try. The drink specials were great! $ 2 dollar corona and dos equis, and $ 1 shrimp cocktails and oyster shooters! Would come back next time in the area for sure.

Neighborhood bar near airport and clubs and mall offering oysters baked, shooters, on the shell. Beer/​liquor happy hour specials throughout the week keep this place busy with a friendly crowd.
