Best Denny’s I’ve ever been to! Aaaaand there were claw machines. Laugh it up! I won a «minion» for my son on my first try. :) Great service and food!!!

I normally don’t give 5 stars but between the food, the service, atmosphere and the waiter(Angel), that was the best service I’ve ever received. Highly recommended.

Our service and food was beyond sub par. It was a slow evening. The kitchen staff were clearly fooling around and at one point another server went to get her food and yelled at them. She was persistent and seemed to care about her customers. Our server, however was very slow and non attentive. We did not ask for anything extra or special either. It took 40 minutes to get our food. There were a total of 5 tables. 2 servers and 2 people in the kitchen. The floors and tables were also filthy. They should really get someone to clean their window sills and window coverings. It was honestly disgusting. My sandwich had toasted bread and it was burnt and my son’s pizza looked like it was dropped out of an oven. I really didn’t want to eat it. Our server seemed overwhelmed but had only been waiting on 2 tables. He said he would bring me back a second drink and that alone took almost 20 minutes when another person in our table of 4 asked for a refill. I know people have off days but the fooling around and joking with the kitchen staff said otherwise. We unfortunately will not be coming back to this location and I wouldn’t recommend it unless their was a change in leadership.

i really like this Denny’s. When the waitresses are busy they will come let you know, they don’t just let you sit and wonder why. They are hard working and always cheerful despite constantly walking around. The food is regular Denny’s comfort food, but I am happy to say they brought the veggie burger option back. and a build your burger with a few different patties(veggie, chicken, beef) and a few different buns as well. I have been to a few Denny’s around El Paso and most of the staff has been pretty lackadaisical(sp??) anyways, they just didn’t care much and I know it’s hard to be a waitress and be enthusiastic all the time, but really, the wait staff at this Denny’s tries really hard to make you feel welcome and they do a great job of it. So if you are craving some Denny’s, and you don’t want a bummer experience, it’s worth the trip.

There really is not much to say about Denny’s. It is a younger version version of Village Inn.(The customers here tend to be Civil War veterans as opposed to American Revolutionary veterans.) Good food, adequate service, and decent prices make for a perfectly acceptable experience.

Eh. It’s Denny’s. We were tired and had been driving for a long time and this was easy to get to. The server was ok, he was the only one working about 7 tables so he was pretty rushed the whole time. The food was less than good. My chicken tenders had too much sauce(they were served with sauce on, instead of on the side) and my pancakes had blackened bits of onion. I“m guessing the cook didn’t clean the grill. We won’t be back.

O.k. guys, I have never been a fan of any Denny’s! On a trip to El Paso, we went to the«free grand-slam» day at the Denny’s on Trans Mountain Road. The line was out the door. While waiting in line we were treated to their new Pancake Puppies(basically deep fried, blueberry pancake balls) which were yummy! Our group of 7 waited less than 15 minutes to be seated. Our waitress, Maria, was very nice, and very efficient. Our grand slams came out very quickly and all orders were correct(we all had eggs our own way). Although I haven’t been into a Denny’s in San Antonio that I would ever go into again, I highly recommend this El Paso location.
