Ordered the Chicken Phở and I added shrimp. The meat was so so, shrimp wasn’t so great and I picked through the chicken. I’d probably get tofu next time and make it vegetarian. However the broth, noodles and everything else was very tasty.

This place was an oasis of good food in an ocean of «meh». I have to say the phở was not the best in the world but it did the job. I am a bit of a Californian snob when it comes to asian food so take my review with a grain of salt. The broth was savory but lacked the meatiness I love. It could probably use a couple more bones(with a lot of marrow) in the stock pot and it would be perfect. My sister noticed the noodles were a bit overcooked and no longer chewy, stuck together and cut too short. HOWEVER, it all tasted good. AND the server was so attentive, friendly and professional. He had a great smile too haha… anyway. Come here.

Horrible food and shitty service. We got undercooked phở noodles and waited more than an hour for our food…

We have been here at least a dozen times– always great service and tasty food! We normally have the brisket phở and shrimp spring rolls to start. today was no different– but we had the lunch special which came with a small phở and ½ sandwich. The beef sandwich was a good size and perfectly cooked. The sauce with the fresh veggies was a perfect combo on the sandwich and the Brisket phở and shrimp spring rolls were great, as normal!

Really yummy phở! I always order the chicken phở, and it’s never a bad idea! The broth is flavorful and just so good! They always bring you a side of bean sprouts parsley and lime! I personally don’t think the phở needs any extra sauce because it’s so flavorful on its own! You have the option of switching out your noodles for yellow noodles which is also really great depending what you are in the mood for. I think that aside from the amazing flavor, the cleanliness of this restaurant and how trendy it is really sets it apart from the other restaurants that have phở. Most of the other places I’ve had phở seems to be less clean and just not as nice. I love this place! Although this place specializes in making phở, the chicken clay pot is also AMAZING! You really can’t go wrong here. Lastly, the staff at phở tre bien is like no other! They are so polite, nice and helpful! Even on their busiest days they don’t skimp on the amazing service! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, phở tre bien!

It pains me to give this place less than a 4 star rating, but to me, the quality doesn’t reach that of the original or the express in northeast. Firstly, when you walk in, there are still Christmas trees and ornaments up at the end of January. Simple oversight, purposeful decoration? I just found it cheap looking, which for a bistro should not be the case. Also, most of the tables had no condiments on it. Even though it was an hour until closing, keep them on, it feels uninviting without it. For the food, the vegetarian crêpe had a good flavour, but I think it was undercooked since part of the inside had a gummy texture and the onions, mushrooms and soy meat(which I loved in the sandwich) were lukewarm at best. The clay pot fish was very tasty, and I would order that again. If I’m in the area and craving it, I would try this place again, but still prefer the other two locations better.

Phở Tres Bien is the best Phở I’ve had in the area surrounding Kern. It’s usually busy, but I’ve never had problems with service. You can get a quick, aromatic and tasty brisket phở for a great price here.

The Phở was delicious. We both had the Brisket Phở. It came with plenty of veg but Cilantro instead of Basil Leaves. Im taking off a star cos the Phở was not served hot enough temperature wise. It should’ve been piping hot. That & Basil Leaves would’ve made it perfect. Having said that, the service certainly makes up for it, ths staff are impecable and polite, their service would earn them 5 stars! It gets busy around noon so try to arrive for an earlier or later lunch, unless you fancy waiting or sitting outside or at the bar. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated & the restrooms are immaculate. Good experience, perfect service, but please start serving Basil Leaves & serving the food hotter!

Had a terrible experience today. The place wasn’t busy and they were messing up everyone’s order. I’ve heard the waiter apologize to every table. Once we sat down, it took 1 hour for the food to arrive. When it arrived the food was cold. Hope this place gets better. I won’t recommend this place.

This place was amazing. I don’t understand how their shop on gateway is so disgusting and mesa was so good. Their broth is so delicious alone that you don’t even have to add anything to it. Their boba tea was really yummy!(Despite being powder) Boba was cooked perfectly! Id definitely come here again! But don’t go to GATEWAY you WILLREGRET it!

Very delicious food, speedy courteous service, and a very nice atmosphere to dine at. I would recommend the Bun Bo Hue, and the Phở. Coconut juice over ice(with big bits of real coconut) was very refreshing. Everything was very tasty and came out of the kitchen quickly. Prices were very decent. I will be coming here again before I fly out of El Paso.

Phở has become one of my favorite dishes since visiting the PTB off the gateway. And this place is equally as delicious. The décor is slightly more modern and you can definitely feel the bistro aspect of it. The menu is condensed from the original and its actually a lot more helpful than the original because of the color and pictures provided. The service is excellent and most importantly the food comes out fast and hot. They have an awesome lunch special where you can get half a sandwich and a soup for around $ 7. Can’t beat that for a vietnamese meal in the area. The chicken breast phở is my favorite and i like to give it some fire so i add the fresh chile garnish, red chili sauce, and some Sriracha. By the way, phở is the best hangover cure. Try it for yourself.

Opening day, and unlike many other places the staff has everything well in hand. They were attentive and helpful. Food was excellent, I recommend the chicken lettuce wrap. They were a great blend of spicy and sweet.

Finally! Phở Tre Bien has made it’s way to the Westside! And it’s everything I was hoping it would be. If you’re a fan of the original PTB, you’ll love this spot too. I decided to head here for lunch on one of my solo excursions and this was actually kind of perfect for dining alone. Don’t get me wrong, this is still a great place to eat with a friend or even a small group, but it’s just comfortable enough with window-side tables that eating alone doesn’t make you feel like a monster with no friends. Everything about the ambiance is quite wonderful really. The day I went, each table had a little vase with a couple of pink carnations. This bistro uses a nice mix of wood, brick, and tile throughout the tiny space. Even though it’s tucked away into a pretty modest plaza, I didn’t feel it from inside PTBB. I also really liked the patio area which had beautiful flowers in full bloom and a few tables. I think next time(if it isn’t too hot) that’s where I’ll sit. The patio also leads me to believe they may be dog friendly, but I’ll ask next time around. The food and service are exactly the same which in this case is a good thing. I ordered the Charbroiled Ribeye(which also happens to be the very first dish that I ordered at the OG Phở Tre Bien). Just as delicious as it’s ever been. Just a heads up, by American standards this is a small dish(but it does have a lot of rice and rice is pretty filling) so I like to think this is the perfect dish for lunch or a light dinner. I can’t remember exactly how much my drink and food ran me up, but it had to be in the ballpark of $ 15. I just remember it was exactly what I expected from my previous experiences with PTB. I also saw that they run a lunch special here. I saw it after I had ordered, but it was around $ 7 which is a pretty sweet deal on any meal here. I really love this newly opened spot and it definitely is up to par with what I’ve come accustomed to from PTB. One of the best locally owned restaurants in EP! I’m so glad to see them doing well enough that they’re able to open multiple locations that are just as lovely as the original.

I ordered the brisket only phở for takeout. They were quick and everything was packed in a spill proof manner. The ambiance seemed wonderful when I arrived for pick up. I definitely plan to stay for a meal next time. This time I was trying to cure a hangover in the privacy of my home. The meat was perfectly tender. The broth tasted just right, and was the perfect temperature. The portion was the legit large size and they didn’t skimp on limes! All in all it was the perfect phở to have at home. Made me miss all my favorite phở spots in Los Angeles.

This restaurant offers the best Vietnamese food I have had in El Paso. My wife and I had the chargrilled pork spring rolls, a rare beef phở, and a combination phở. The first thing I check when having phở is the taste of the broth. The broth was excellent. In fact, everything was excellent, even the flavor of the fish sauce condiment. We had small bowls, which were plenty large enough. I can imagine the large bowls must be huge. I plan to frequent this restaurant regularly, especially as its location is convenient to west side residents like me.
