Huge calzones. Vesuvio is my favorite. The chicken pesto sandwich or salad are both good. It’s closing, but opening down the street as Toscano? I rarely order the pizzas there so can’t really comment about that

Yummy! I really liked this place! The place itself is real cute and fresh! Lots of space to sit. The staff was nice and attentive. I was really really hungry so I ordered a side salad to start. The salad was totally boring and quite frankly the only reason I removed a star… lettuce and literally one tomato! But the pizza was extremely good and totally different! I had the spicy meats and added peppers and olives and my husband had the chicken artichoke. Both were just great. Great price too! Seriously one of the best pizzas I have ever had. More people have to try this place!

My husband and I are new to El Paso, having moved here from WA(thanks to the Army). We are greatly missing our favorite wood-fired pizza joint back there and so decided to try Sunset. I wasn’t so impressed at first – there was not a good variety of beverages(alcoholic and non), and we were afraid they didn’t have breadsticks as we didn’t see them on the menu. However when my husband asked for breadsticks, they did have them, and they were delicious! Fresh and chewy just how I like them. We liked that the pizzas were basically personal sized, which is awesome when you and your spouse have very different tastes in pizza! He ordered the chipotle chicken and I built my own with Italian sausage and fresh basil. The pizza was delicious. There’s just nothing like a fire-grilled pizza with fresh ingredients! Overall, delicious food. I’d give 5 stars if there was more beverage selection.

i vaguely remember even coming here, so i apologize for this review being useless. i guess i tied one on accidentally. i just wanted to put something up here so Unilocal!would quit asking me to do so. i pretty much came here to drink beer and watch basketball. can’t comment on the food, but i don’t remember it being a bad experience, so i imagine — should i ever go for pizza and beer — that i might give it another shot. although i prefer Café Italia’s pizza, i’m open to options.

Pizza here is fantastic, probably even better than Ardovino’s. Very cool and casual atmosphere, and while they cater to futbol fans, they seem to only have one TV. The Fat Tire I couldn’t drink and sent back, something wrong there. No problem since The Hoppy Monk is right across the street.

The food here is fantastic! Not sure how many other wood-oven pizzerias are in El Paso, but I feel confident enough to say this place offers the best in town. The pizza is great, but so are the Calzones, I was really impressed. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, caters big time to soccer fans. A good place to watch a game and less noisy than sports-oriented restaurants.

good news sports fans. the sunset vastly improved their atmosphere by installing a large screen tv by the used book and stein shelves. now we can watch games, even those repeated championship games in the off season and of course, soccer always. seems to have increased patronage too. good job!

An above average pizza, well made, cooked in a fire-oven. Great atmosphere in this place which is a great venue for after office gatherings. If you are a soccer fiend, then put Sunset Pizza on your short list because they have a constant stream of soccer. Europe, Latin America, Mexico, you name it. The owner is Argentine, which tells you why. And speaking of Argentina, they have excellent Argentine wines for about half of what you might pay for a similar quality of wine in another restaurant. This is a plus, where else can you order a bottle of Malbec for $ 20.
