I really liked this location. It was clean and the service was fast. Their eggs rancheros are really good and their green spicy chicken enchiladas are amazing! Like I said, this is a good location way better than the one near the airport lol

There must be a party in the kitchen. I wish they would invite me. I mean all of the staff disappear into the kitchen and don’t come back out to check on customers at times for ten minutes. Something cool must be happening back there. One could easily walk out without paying the check and no one would likely notice. It’s a long standing issue at most VI restaurants in El Paso. Yet we come back to eat pancakes and drink coffee. They’re good enough to put up with the insincere«is everything ok?» company line from the manager as well. Oh well.

Good service and good food. I’ve never had an issue before with their service. It does get busy in here from time to time but since all you can do in El Paso is eat then this is why. Nice and cool inside, especially being 110 outside! Bathrooms clean too!

Came in to order a lemon supreme pie and I must say that pie is to die for. The service was ok. I felt like they were trying to get rid of me real quick since I was just ordering a pie but the taste of the pie made up for it.

We’ve been coming here for DECADES. It really needs new management. On a Saturday during dinner time it was dead. Food is spot on, especially breakfast, but our order was a fiasco. We were missing items and they took forever to get it right. The manager was hiding in the office. The waitress disappeared for 20 minutes. Ugh.

The people are friendly, and the food is awesome. The has a neat retro look, and it’s usually slammed with regulars. Expect to wait on Sunday mornings.

I suppose writing a review about Village Inn is similar to writing one about, say, Denny’s or IHOP, with Village Inn being as ubiquitous to El Paso as those two. You can expect the same charm and service as you would from any chain restaurants, with the everything being middle of the road quality. My service was good, food OK but nothing memorable.

Never again… No greet at the door(not a 1st time.) Had to call someone from the back to take my order. Still no menu. She asked what I would like. I said a menu would help as I don’t know what they have(not a 1st time.) Brought food. Never came back to check on needs(not a 1st time.) Only 3 people in the place. In the past, found dirty silverware, lipstick on coffee muggs, cracked coffee muggs, and a large amount of butter smeared on a coffee server. Also on a previous visit, ordered a BLT — the piece of tomato was the size of a quarter on only one half of the sandwich — the other half didn’t have any. Doesn’t anyone else see this??? How can they stay open without training the staff on the basics?
