I found Glenn, owner of Martyn Canine Behavior while searching online after a unsatisfactory experience with another trainer. He had no online reviews from Unilocal or google but it was evident that he had a very long career and vast experience in dog training. I spoke to him on the phone and immediately knew that we clicked. He didn’t require that I pre pay for 4 sessions or make me feel like I’m signing my life away with forms like my previous trainer. He is flexible with scheduling and always comes to my home on a day thats good for me which is on the weekends. Glenn is an older gentleman, old school trainer. When my wife and I are in his presence he naturally puts us at ease with his relaxed, flexible demeanor. He’s willing to work with the training I already have done with my dog rather then make us unlearn everything. He’ll compliment you easily and often yet will point out deficiencies in a gentle way. He’s funny too with his many stories and his struggle with modern technology. Whenever he has a story, I secretly call it «story time» to my wife. He sometimes can’t find my emails and his gps gets him lost. But if you want a solid, good natured, very flexible, old school trainer, go with Glenn, he won’t disappoint.
