This place had excellent wine, but the experience was sub par. Although the wine tasting was free the location and wine enthusiasm was was very po-​dunk! Hope to give the place another shot sometime because the wine was so tasty, but I hope for better service and overall experience.

We pulled up to the Winery. The grounds were very unkempt, a little dirty. We were thinking we should just turn around and leave, but we decided to try it anyway. As we were walking up to the winery, a large, dirty dog was lying on the floor. At this we turned around and left. We will not be back. Not impressed at all.

We got to Best as soon as they opened, so we were the only people there and we got amazing service! We tasted nearly every wine and ended up buying almost $ 120.00 worth of wine that day. Everything was simply delish! And the Catawba! OMG!!! Other benefit, the puppy friends you get to meet while sampling!

This was stop 3 on my self designed winery tour and by far my favorite stop. I feel in love with the wine at vintage wine fest a few years ago, but this was out first stop in the winery.
Its a small shop, quaint, and in the middle of nowhere! We loved it. Came home with 3 bottles, and the owners took every chance to show us the different pairings and years of the wine options.
If you wasn’t a huge retail place do French Lick winery where the pourers memorize a great list of descriptions, if you want a true small winery experience in Southern Indiana, visit Best.

We visited during the Upland Wine Trail chocolate and wine pairing event. Best was one of the smallest and is nothing fancy but had the best Catawba out of the three local wineries we visited that day.
