I don’t know where to start, the insectes flying around our table or the lack of English being spoken by everyone! I get that it is a Colombian spot, but if you want to serve Colombians exclusively then perhaps you should have good Colombian food. Got the traditional Colombian dish, the steak was unseasoned and full of gristle, the sausage was good, but then again they do not make that, I am sure if they did it would be just as bad as the rest, the rice was ok, not bad not good, the chicharron was good, again really have to try hard to mess that up. But the food they were responsible for was horrible, they had no maduro, and no arepa, so they gave us two over cooked eggs, to make up for it, when we mentioned the arepa they did not even know that it came with it. Ultimately its April, and I am stirring at my table with flies buzzing around me, writing this review. My boyfriend, who never wastes food at all, refuses to take it home.(He is Colombian) this is the worst Colombian food I have had! Service was good!

Wow me thinks not ! Staying nearby airport so we can catch an early flight and didn’t want to try the hotel food so… Unilocal to the rescue. This place needs a rescue. The menu was pretty big but I zeroed in on the flank steak. Came with a side of … I picked potato salad Steak came out rare not medium rare. Was VERY tough and bloody. It needed to cook a bit more and then rest. The potato salad was average at best. Friend had talapia Was enough for 3 people. He said it was ok Best part of the meal was the bread. Very disappointing. I also think they cool the meat out on the back patio where there was a cat trying to get food or into the restaurant. Please pass on this«gem»

Eating the Cherasco with the Spaniard potatoes and vegetable, really good ! Veronica the waitress here is more friendlier to locals than strangers, she’s very dry, no personality. Through out my whole dinner she didn’t even ask me how was my dinner. The food was great, but waitress like these should not exist. I almost felt like I was in welcomed here. The place itself is a small place and a very dark place. It’s my first and last time here

What a great surprise! Customer satisfaction guaranteed. Had a little struggle finding the right wine but our bartender did not give up until he had the right bottle open. Started off with bread and dipping sauce(Which we ended dipping our steak into). Then ordered a mixed meat plate for 2 which they grilled over an outdoor wood grill. Chorizo sausage. Blood sausage. Beef short ribs. Skirt steak. Chicken. Fried intestines. Came with 2 sides(yellow rice and potato salad). Cholula Hot sauce added a little more excitement. Would definitely come back.

Ok, so it’s in a residential neighborhood, it looks like a sports bar, and it’s empty… recipe for disaster… but wait, it’s AWESOME! They have a covered garden in the back, past the real wood grill!!! We ordered the parillida for 2… it could easily feed 4!!! The meat is grilled to perfection… short ribs, skirt steak, a bit if sirloin, blood sausage, chicken, small intestines and chorizo… all freakin delicious!!! It comes with 2 sides of your choice, we had the potato salad(nothing a lil hot sauce couldn’t help) and the yellow rice — decent. The complimentary bread is good, and so is the churrasco sauce… We had Uruguayan wine for the first time… decent. A shout out to our waiter, attentive, friendly, and funny. Oh, I almost forgot, we also ordered the cod fish fritters too… they were decent…

This is the best Uruguayan restaurant in NJ. Waitresses are friendly and always checked up on my table to see if we needed anything else. I highly recommend it.

the meat and the bread were good, everything else a complete fail. me and my friends were there on friday and it was my first time trying them. they had spoke great about this place however our food took about an hour to hour and a half to get to us. when we approached the owner he laughed and said that by us getting up to check on the food it would not be made faster. we got there before a party of 10 about half hour before yet they got their food first. apparently they knew the people who work there. the mashed potatoes were straight from the box with just water, no seasoning or attempt to make it seem good, and the salad was just washed and given, with no dressing whatsoever. would not go there again.

Found this restaurant on an app on my iPhone. Excellent service… friendly staff… delicious food. The atmosphere is what really brings everything together… the outside eating area is comfortable and relaxing. Great ambiance! Will be returning soon. Highly recommended!
