Bee Hive Antiques

I had no idea that Elizabethton is an absolute HAVEN for antiques– like a for-​real antiquers paradise. AND, I couldn’t believe how much cheaper antiques are in the South than in the Northeast where I live.
I was on the hunt for orange Carnival glass for a birthday gift for my hostess and found just what I was looking for at Bee Hive. The Bee Hive is an old hospital that has been converted into an antique mall. The place is a veritable maze– tiny room after tiny room crammed with antiques, jewelry, crafts and other goodies.
There were some really interesting items for sale including things I’ve never seen in an antique mall before like antique horse saddles. Pretty cool. They also have a cute little bakery/​coffee shop in the rear of the mall on the first floor.
Recommended but not handicap accessible or recommended for very large people, or energetic small children because of close quarters.
