La Quinta Inn & Suites Elizabethtown

Nice hotel, but it suffered from the one thing I can not stand… A weak low flow shower. I won’t rate it too low because this truly was its only problem, but it if one that would definitely keep from coming back. It was like standing under a large drooling man.

Got in at about 3 am & the concierge was nice. The room was nice, had a microwave and fridge (check to make sure it is on and cold) the beds were nice and soft. For a couple of hours and not a bad price it was a great stay.

We are traveling front the west coast to east coast, last night we feel tired so we decide to stay some around place so we stopped here (4am) we got a room and we went directly to sleep. To our surprised was someone at 9am (being specific) was knocking the door. Was when I woke up and I found the room wasn’t clean were some used towels in the bathroom, a half cup of coffee, trash. No soap, No shampoo and not enough towels (they were used already) I wanted complain but my bf is not kind of person so he said they not going to do anything because we sleep there for a few hours. The room wasn’t bad, BUT wasn’t clean! I’m very disappointed because they charge a good amount and is not worth it.

perfectly adequate. room clean. Elizabetown seems to be expensive for hotels. we used the coupon from the «Red Guide», and it was still $$$, for KY. desk clerk was great. breakfast was awful. dried out «scrambled» eggs, overcooked sausage. they are remodeling the first floor.

Some reviews here are subpar, but I really loved this LaQuinta. Free breakfast included basic items like fruit, cereal, and bagels, but also featured hard boiled eggs, sausage egg and cheese biscuits, and sausage gravy and biscuits. Room was clean with good AC, and a very large bathroom. Also used the fitness center, which didn’t have too many machines but the ones they did have were in good working condition. I enjoyed my stay here, which was 3 weeks long for business.

Great service! The girl at the front desk was very friendly, professional, and efficient. There were more amenities in the room than usual including a makeup removing wipe. Microwave and fridge was a nice plus! Breakfast was excellent! I’ve never seen a La Quinta that serves biscuit with gravy, French toast, English muffins, boiled eggs (sans shell!), and sooooooo much more! For free! Indoor pool with hot tub! Coin operated washer & dryer! Very nice.

Stayed in La Quinta hotels across the USA because they accept pets and don’t charge extra. We had good experiences with most of them. This one… not so much. We had to stay here for over a week due to the fact that we were waiting for our rental house to be ready. The first issue we had was that the room smelled «weird». Kind of like old towels, pet urine. 2^nd… they issued our room not once, but twice to other clients… who used a key to come into the room while we were here. Can anyone say security issue? The front desk didn’t seem to concerned about it. When I sent an email to customer service, I got an email back saying that they resolved the problem. How? What was done? I have no idea.
Skimpy choices for their «continental breakfast».
Pool was alright. Small, but, it was a pool.
I will NOT recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family who come to the area. And we will definitely not stay here again.

Very nice stay and great breakfast… Liked the big TV (LCD)…

We were unable to stay at our usual hotel due to it being completely booked so we opted for this hotel in the same immediate area. It was OK but not one we would choose to stay several days. The continental breakfast was not very fresh and was skimpy. The rooms were OK but could stand some cleaning. Parking was plentiful s it was not nearly full.

We stayed here during a recent trip and I have to say other than the hotel being convenient to the interstate and restaurants it was only a so so experience.
We stayed because they allowed pets and we had one with us. But our rooms smelled like mold or pet urine I honestly couldn’t tell which. Actually it smelled like we towels that have gone sour. The rooms were a good size and everything in them was nice but the smell just about killed me.
The public areas were very well kept and nice to look at. The pool was small but adequate for an indoor pool. The hot tub was having some sort of issue where it wouldn’t stay on for long but then would come on later at random times.
Over all MEH It worked but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
