Alexian Brothers Hospital Network

Nice location easy and convenient. Friendly people everybody so nice makes u feel like home. Doctors and nurses staff are wonderful.

I have to have regular lab tests. The Alexian Brothers Hospital is convenient to my office so it is easy to pop over there when needed. While I’ve never used their ER nor have I been admitted as a patient there, I have used their labs dozens of times.
First of all, their facilities are really nice. While I am not a religious person so the statuary does not do very much for me, looking aside from that the hospital is beautifully done. It is extremely clean and very well decorated.
The check in for the lab and x-​ray is right through the main entrance. You check in and within minutes you are brought to a person who takes your ID and insurance information and schedules you for the tests. I have never waited more than ½ hour for tests here, and usually it is fewer than 15 minutes — no appointment is needed. (Clearly, they do need an order from a doctor…)
I find the people who draw blood are always friendly and very concerned about you. They check for anxiety, and are very careful about hitting the vein on the first stick. I can’t say they are always 100% successful, but they are close. They are also very apologetic if they miss the vein.
While lab tests are never «fun», if you need some done in the Elk Grove area, Alexian Brother Hospital is a fine choice.

I was in the hospital for 5 days that did very good job get me back up I was diagnosed with diverticulitis and Claudius I was in very much pain but staff get me through it thank you David Rogers.

This place has a lot going for it but compared to Central Dupage.
Parking is ample and the offer valet. I am not sure if it is free or not but usually hospitals offer it for free.
Facility is beautiful and welcoming, lighting is heavenly and it is signed accordingly making it easy to locate your destinations since the campus is huge.
The hospital has individual rooms which a great for not only privacy, but infection control. However, my only complaint is that recently is visited central DuPage and their rooms are far superior. The rooms in this hospital or just okay. No place for overnight guests to sleep comfortably and only enough chairs for two people to sit.
There are nourishment stations in ever hallway which is great incase you get thirsty. Cafeteria is nice with lots of options that won’t break the bank.
Staff is like that if any hospital.
They play bingo here and off their patients and guest a chance to win prizes and gift certificates. Friendly competition is always fun!
I still prefer cdh but this place had a lot going for it. Would be interested to see how st Alexis compares to alexian brothers.
