I have been to this place over 5 times. The server’s are extremely rude, the service is terrible, and the food is disgusting. Last week, we waited over 1.5 hours for our pizza. Nobody came to tell us it would take longer. Our server was so snippy, while we all tried to be nice to her. I will never return to this place again. I can’t believe they are still in business with the terrible service, subpar food, and rude servers!

Won’t ever go back to this place. A friend and I went here for drinks and dinner. Our waitress was completely useless. We sat down and it took her 10 minutes to even come talk to us. Another 15 minutes to even place our order. After she got us our food, she went MIA for at least 15 minutes. Came back and I counted. She walked past our table 9 times before I finally got up, walked to the bar and ordered my friend a water and a beer for myself. She saw the guy bring it to us. Never apologized or anything !! I asked he gentlemen to send a manager over. He never came. Not surprised. We finally demanded our check and boy, when I put my card in there she was there in a flash to run it. Didn’t leave a tip because she didn’t deserve one. Horrible terrible food and service.

Saw this place and decided to give it a try, glad the first time I stopped in for a beer the kitchen was closed. The second time I wasn’t so fortunate. My girlfriend and I decided to eat there last night, ordered the personal pizza and«da ultimate» burger(which I might add I’ve had a better burger at burger king) needless to say I’m writing this while clutching my stomach because my insides feel like they are being twisted with a rusty fork. I’m never going there again. 4th place I’ve tried off of Unilocal that’s given me food poisoning. Should’ve listened to the waitress when she said the food wasn’t so fresh at that time of night. Great place to eat if you want to drop a couple of pounds though, their food is like super colon blow.

Coach’s Corner means a lot to me and has been a favorite of mine since I was a very young child. I live in the city of Chicago and am less than half a mile away from Wrigley Field, so I’m surrounded by some of the biggest and most popular sports bars in Illinois. However, there’s no need to compare — you won’t find many places like Coach’s Corner near Elk Grove Village! I’m obsessed with the fish and chips, ravioli, and pizookie! Also, the clientele is down to earth and very engaging. Such a good time!

Great place to watch Hawks hockey, of course. I ordered the«Big Rig-atoni» and it was enough for two people to share, including the yummy bread. It came loaded with mozzarella and their delicious«red gravy,» which is meatless. There was such a good variety on the menu, I want to return and try other classic items, like the fish & chips, bang-bang shrimp, burger, pizza or their unique desserts like funnel cake bites. We loved the cheese curds! Our server STEF is THEBEST! Very sweet and courteous, fast to fill our drinks and bring our food. Plenty of parking in front of the building too. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Coach’s Corner is just a classic local sports bar! This not your corporate«Sports Bar» that is over running Wrigleyville that has no character and just looking to make a buck. When I go to a sports bar I want sports wherever I look. Here they’re on the TVs and the memorabilia is unique and everywhere! They always have THE game on and there is always a crowd for the Chicago games. Maybe I think the reserved tables for the games is annoying but at the same time, there is a demand which means you know the place will be packed and give you that atmosphere you want for the game.(I saw the Blackhawks clinch the 2015 Stanley Cup here and it was my first Cup outside of living in the city and it was a good substitute! They had sirens and horns… everything you’d want!) You may… no, you will be overwhelmed by the menu! It’s very loud, very busy and all over the place. In the end, they really have it all here. I really like the Cheese Sticks, they are just simple and unique and I recommend them. Now to be clear, this is not a Mozzarella Stick!!! If you think that you’ll be disappointed but it’s just a tortilla with cheese in the middle rolled up… just order 2 if you’re worried but you won’t regret it! The pizza isn’t too bad and I think the Italian Beef is up there and will not disappoint! This is all bar food and bar food done well. In the end of the day, if you are in Elk Grove and want to watch the Bulls/‘Hawks /Bears/Cubs… this is the place that I would pick for the energy and to go to have fun!

Coach’s Corner is what you’d expect for a sports bar in the suburbs, and probably has quite a following with Elk Grove locals, but I don’t agree with all of the commotion about how fantastic the food is. It was just okay for me; it wasn’t great nor awful, Coach’s Corner is another bar & grill that blends into a suburban strip mall. There is a lot of seating, and the service was good. I felt welcome and comfortable. I tried the cheese sticks, which so many people raved about, but I was disappointed. The mozzarella cheese rolled into a tortilla and deep fried is bland. My friend’s cheese curds were a lot better. I also tried the pizza, the«Sicilian style» which comes in two sizes. The smaller can easily feed 2 or 3 people, so I brought a lot of leftovers home. The doughy, thick crust was good — but the cheese and sauce were bland. Just okay. Not a bad spot to watch a game and have some beers. Food isn’t terrible, a good place for picky eaters or the budget-conscious. It beats going to a local chain outpost.

Lisa was my server, very friendly & very attentive. It was a slow night so not many people in here. Tried the chips and chili queso as an appetizer, wasn’t super impressed with it. Not bad, just not great. I then ordered the cheesy beef on garlic bread. The Italian beef was delicious! So good! The fries were okay, but the beef is where it’s at.

A great sports bar suitable for everyone, even families. This place has a ton of sports memorabilia. I also love that this place has so much wood inside, which helps to provide a comfortable, inviting atmosphere. All the food is pretty good here. I love the pizza, beef and grilled wings, but would order anything else off the menu at anytime. The service is usually good. This is my «Cheers».

Not really sure what all the fuss is about. Service was pretty bad but yet the Cubs game was on, it was a Saturday, and they were packed. Food was so so. The infamous cheese sticks were good but to me are more taquitos instead of real breaded cheese sticks which I was expecting I guess. My jr. Cheesy beef was ok, (Portillos is still my top), but they messed up my order and added hot peppers which ended up burning my mouth so I couldn’t really taste much. Fries were standard. I didn’t want to give my beef back bc we had waited SOLONG for our food. I don’t know maybe I’ll come back when it’s not so busy and give them another try. But last night was def nothing memorable in my book.

Small portion and over priced. Poor service. The Bloody Mary was nothing like the pic advertised it was half the size and came with 2 olives and a dried up lime. The ½ pound boneless chicken wings were small and dry, the fries were nothing special. I’m pretty sure I have had more chicken nuggets in a happy meal before. For the price and portions I won’t be back.

I wld say no for the money. One had chili with garlic and while the cook was preparing other food in the group. Bowl became cool and delivered cold. Another time my husband ordered pizza with ingredients. Cook adds onions. Waitress was fine. She wrote what my husband wanted. Next time cold chili again and an hrs wait for a mini size pizza! All in a row! After 15 yrs? The management needs to be in the kitchen. And this is no stars!

I have passed by this place so many times, and finally I decided to come here with my friend to get a drink and some food. The first thing I noticed was it was not very busy at all for a Saturday night, and a Cubs game on. Odd? We chose a table and a server came after a little while of sitting. They don’t have a spectacular beer menu, but something for everyone. The minute I looked at the menu I was overwhelmed. It is so hard to read with all different colors and crap everywhere… why can’t we just keep it simple? It looked outdated. Our server changed, and we ordered the Hawaiian pizza and the cheese curds. The food is your regular bar food, nothing over the top or new. The pizza was actually really good. But the service became more and more shotty as the servers started to care more about watching the game than doing their job. We never got a water(or any other drink) refill. At the end of the night it was good pizza, but kind of expensive for the service we got. I don’t think I’ll be rushing back.

After living out in the Burbs now for over a year I’ve come to realize that this establishment Does Not Stay Open to their True Hours of Operation. Was told by an employee when I called: «That it costs a lot of money to keep the kitchen open so we shut down early if we are not busy.» The closing of their kitchen Early has Happened to me several times over the past year. After hearing their reasoning I have decided to Dine elsewhere.

Coaches Corner: Home to clutter sports memorabilia and okay times. Every so often, a group of us from work occupy a corner booth for a happy hour. It gets louder when games are on, as expected, but it’s just the right noise level to chat and even play some party games in back. The service and food are alright — sometimes very slow though. One time they even forgot my order which would explain the extraordinary lag time. As for the food itself, it is fair to middling. To be honest, just skip the meals. Come with friends, watch a game, nosh on an appetizer, and get their drink specials.

I’ve been to Coach’s Corner a few times now and the experience doesn’t change. You come in and they look completely disgusted that you want to be here. They ask you how many are in your party and tell you where you can sit. Once you are seated they present with a menu that resembles a comic book. There is so much going on with this menu it can be daunting to take in all at once. It is known that the more menu items a place has the lesser the quality of the overall dining experience. You can’t say this more for Coach’s. They have sandwiches, pasta, soups and salad, burgers, chicken, pizza. You name it they have it. I’ve had everything from the Italian beef, to the chicken, to the wraps. Nothing is impressive. Perhaps this is a place where the level of your satisfaction of the food and service increases as your sobriety decreases. Unfortunately I only come here for lunch during work hours so I wouldn’t know if that is true or not. During and after your meal the workers here, who are the same every time, will service you with disinterest. They can be smug which is an attitude I never understood when you are in the service business. The atmosphere, besides the moody waitstaff, is like any typical neighborhood bar. They have plenty of televisions with all kinds of sports programming on. The only reason you should come here is if you want a less than average experience.
