Doughboys Inc- Pizza Pasta Catering

This was my first time ordering here and there was a mixup with my grubhub order and rather than just covering it up and just telling my pizza was on its way, the Owner called me personally and explained what happened. That kind of personal attention goes a long way with keeping me as a customer. Even though there was a longer wait due to the mixup this pizza is well worth it. I am from NC and we don’t have pizza at this caliber down there. Thank you for a pleasant experience. I will be ordering from Dough Boys again!

Went in because my fiancé and I saw a groupon deal. So happy that this is near my office. Josh said that the ingredients were all from Italy. This is such a better pie than your local sarpinos, vini’s and Lou Malnati. Definitely returning to doughboys.

I’ve been here twice and I have to say (I have a rule never to pass judgement until I’ve tried a place twice) this is the best pizza I’ve tasted here in the northern ‘burbs. I had the Doughboy’s Deluxe Pizza on their Chicago style crust and it was cooked to perfection. The second time I picked up I met the owner Joshua who is very nice. He opened up my pizza just to make sure the pizza was perfect. It is nice to know that he cares about the quality of his product and his patrons. I have yet to try the catering side but if it’s anything like the pizza I clearly can’t go wrong!

I am by no means a pizza buff, but I will say that I really enjoyed the service and quality of food from Doughboys!
The whole staff was great, super friendly and very helpful.
I went into Doughboys with a few friends and we really had no idea what was the best thing to order so the owner walked us through all their different types of pizzas and the ingredients used. My wife and I ordered a 14 inch and my other two friends each got their own calzones. I have to say the clazones are massive!
If you are in the area I highly recommend checking this place out!

I searched for a close by pizza joint for my son’s birthday party. I picked this place based on the extensive pizza menu and then when I called and spoke to an owner who is also a cook he sold me completely. He was very pleasant, informative and very confident with his business. We enjoyed our pizzas. Delivery guy came right on time, he was professional and clean. The ordering process was a breeze. This was a great experience. We don’t live close by but if we are in the neighborhood I’ll call again!
Was this the best pizza I ever had? No! I ate pizza in France and Italy and I never found similar in the States. But it was really really good. Maybe it’s personal opinion. Would I recommend this to friends for catering or just eating out? Absolutely!

Would not honor a coupon, said his printer made a mistake. How is that a customers problem. He had no problem sending a boatload of those coupons to my house, got 3 mailings with the same coupon. So it took him how many mailings to figure out his printer made a mistake? What ever happened to proof reading? I also saw the same coupon on his web site. Why didn’t he take it off his web site?

Great pizza! Ordered from here now a couple times and loved it! Would definitely recommend it! Staff was extremely friendly as well

So this is the first time ever we are writing a review.
We ordered a 7.99 pizza special one ingredient pepperoni to give them a try. (Thank goodness we didnt pay full price) Dough was chewy not crispy, bottom of cardboard box (not just top of pizza) was filled with grease and two end pieces of the pizza crust were cut off? Ok no biggie we just won’t order from there again. Next day i get a call from owner Josh. They processed my card wrong! Says he issued a refund but needs a new form of payment. I go back to shop and pay him cash! I look at my card today and the refund will probably take 3 days for it to process! So i call and tell him… just so you know i am out twice and we didnt even care for the pizza. He says his pizza is supposed to be chewy, greasy and the crust was probably cut off in error cause they couldnt see it! Says the is pizza not for everyone and they are rated 4 stars on everything! So basically didnt care. As far as being out twice not his fault credit card takes days to process refund! Really well whose fault is it i am even in this predicament? Stay away trust me!

Great pizza! Went in for the first time last week just trying something new, and josh said I wouldn’t be disappointed and he was right. The ingredients were on point and the crust was delicious. We asked for some extra sauce and it was delicious as well next time I might ask for more. Everything about this place felt right.

Excellent pizza! Crust is perfect, and the sauce is just right. Picked up a large, and the fam went through it so fast that next time I’ll be getting an extra large. I grew up near a famous chicago pizzeria and ate it since I was a baby, and I like Doughboys better.

these guys are awesome. best pizza in elk grove. freshly made. not cheap on ingredients. customer service A+. crispy crust. sweet sausage. AMAZING. I’m always getting pizza from these guys. Everyone must try. Highly recommended

I ordered 3 full Trays of Pasta Dishes for lunch fior our entire office. Tthe Shrimp Scamp, Penne di Napoli and the Stuffed Chicken Parmesan. OMG we are all still talking about how good it was.
Very generous portions, so we will be eating leftovers on Monday! Josh, the chef/​owner delivered himself and was so nice. We are hooked and will be regulars for sure!

Great pizza, great food, great service and delivery time is not bad at all. Love the knots with pepperoni.

I’ve ordered 3 times now. I’ve ordered the taco pizza & the hang 10 pizza, both medium and they were great, they both re-​heated great for breakfast & lunch the next day. My husband liked the beef sandwich, he said it was a little dry, but that was my fault for not asking for it dipped. The peppers were awesome, lots of flavor. Yesterday I ordered the Pepper & Egg (without cheese) it was really good, I never had chopped grilled onions in a pepper & egg before, but I will from now on. I’m looking forward to trying the meatball sandwich next. I highly recommend this place and highly recommend you don’t listen to reviews on food from anyone from California, seriously, what do they know about good food…

Pizza was ok. Service via phone was good. When we called we were told pick up would be ready in 40 – 45 minutes. We picked up in 45 minutes and pizza was a little on the cold side (cheese was solidified, hard to cut).
Tasted great, a little too much sauce.
Bread sticks weren’t so fresh (more like crispy pizza dough).
Might order again but not sure yet.

We ordered for the fourth of July and everything was perfect except for the bread. The bread was not fresh. The order was on time, the shop was clean, people very nice and the food was delicious. We do recommend and will certainty order again.

We got two medium pizzas to feed my husband and I as well as three of our friends that helped us move. I got there a little earlier than the time they told me and then it still took a couple of minutes because they were busy. When I say a couple of minutes, I actually mean a couple of minutes. Like 2. The owner, Josh, was incredibly friendly and went way out of his way to make me comfortable/​happy while I waited. It was by far the best service I have ever gotten anywhere, and to top it off the pizza was delicious.

Too soggy. Please do NOT order any take out pizza from these crooks. They sent us two pizzas which couldn’t even be dished out properly. They fell apart and the ingredients were extremely cheap and not flavorful. After calling Josh the head chef still they didn’t apologize or offer any type of refund for the dissatisfaction we experienced. Once again do not order from here!!!

Came opening week. Got lunch for the office. They have a cool pizza oven and the food was good. No leftovers and Josh even gave a couple of cannoli’s because he thought I was waiting too long (but I was early).
2 20″ pizzas, 2 salads & 2 desserts, were more than enough for 13 people.

This is definitely the go-​to place for late-​night pizza. When everyone else is closed this place still delivers! The pie is good, service is great and delivery is fast. We placed our order at 2 AM and got our pizza about 30 minutes later. We had a late night at work and a few of our drivers were still at the office. The pizza was just what everyone needed after a long day of trucking. Archer Cargo is going to be ordering again for sure! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a late-​night pizza.
