L A Spa Nails

I had a great experience at LA Spa Nails. I called and was able to get in the same day, which is always a plus. It was a crummy weather day so it was slow when I arrived. I was greeted by a nice woman who directed me to a chair to get my pedicure done. Paula, took care of me that day and was very friendly yet professional during the entire service. I will definitely be coming back when it’s time to get another pedicure. Which by the way still looks fabulous after two weeks!

Let me start by saying i have been to so many nail salons including all the local ones in Elk Grove village. I could never find a salon that i want to go back to a second time!
I tried this one maybe a year ago and i have been going back since. I love the place, it’s comfortable and clean. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Paula is the one i always go to. I never know what i want for my nails and she always gives me ideas on what color to use, etc.
I am satisfied with my nails every time i leave. Plus i have been charged more at other places for the same services. Also I really like the lady that only does pedicures, I was very happy with them the few times she did them.
I love this place!

Horrible service, I asked them to file my nails, but I didn’t like how she left them crooked. I kindly asked if she could fix them then she said «you’re too picky.» So I was forced to leave and then they told me I had to pay for the removal of my polish. I didn’t mind paying for it, but the way it was asked for was unprofessional.

My first impression was I liked it, they did a great job on my nails. Will come back again.

I love this nail salon. Its clean and professional. The staff is amazing. I have been going here for about 4 years now. I’m very picky when it comes to mani/​padi and happy to say that I’m loving my nails every time I get them done at LA Spa Nails. Lisa, the owner is super nice. One of the sweetest people I have been blessed to meet in my life. I usually stop in Monday or Tuesday during my lunch hour. I get a mani/​padi and they get me out in one hour. If you want design Paula is the best!!! Pretty much any design you want Paula can hook you up. Leopard print, zebra stripes, flowers or dots… you name it or show Paula an example she will perfect the design.

After a crummy day at work, a text from a friend asking me to get our nails done was exactly what I needed. After finding out our usual place was booked, we started scouring Unilocal for a new place to try. I had a meeting that evening in Elk Grove, so we set out to find a nail place in EGV. When we saw all the great reviews for L A Spa we thought this may be our new place. After being able to get appointments less than an hour after calling, we headed over.
Upon arrival I realized I had been past this strip mall plenty of times but never knew what the businesses were like. I’ll admit, the strip itself looks a little sketchy, but L A was great. Lisa the owner came over, asked us our name and was so friendly, as well as the rest of the staff who took care of us. They offered us coffee, water, or pop right away which was awesome. Great color choices, I was able to get fun bright summer colors. We opted to get the level above basic pedicure because, well YOLO, and it was amazing. All the stress from work and my life just melted away.
The manicure was great, I couldn’t stop looking at my pretty shiny nails. I accidentally got my finger caught between a shoe and a shelf at Nordstrom Rack the next day chipping away half my thumb paint, I came back in and Lisa remembered who I was and fixed my thumb for free. Awesome!
It’s a great place, the name has Spa but it’s not 100% a spa environment like my other salon of choice, but it’s still a great place. The only other complaint I had wasn’t for me but for my friend, we booked appointments and we started at the same time, yet for whatever reason they did the technician switch and she ended up waiting 10 minutes before they started her manicure, so I was just about done when she started. I understand if you’re a walk in, but with appointments that kind of stinks. At least give a heads up if you think that might happen. However I’m sure next time we need to go to Elk Grove or our other place is booked we’ll be back. Thanks team!

Paula is the best!!! She has been doing my nails for some time now & I always leave loving my mani/​pedi. She can do fun design on your nails that is hard to find! Example: cupcake, snowflake, strips, dots,. She will help me choose a color which is always helpful too. I recommend La Spa Nails in Elk Grove ask for Paula :)
