I am writing to express extreme dissatisfaction with the deteriorating customer experience provided by BofA … at least at this location. The lines at the teller windows are ridiculously long. Waiting 10 minutes or more is almost the norm. Yesterday, it took over 17 minutes. You often have more folks sitting behind the client services desks(with no clients) than tellers. I have walked out before, tired of waiting and complained on the way out. Yesterday, a very articulate customer ahead of me asked and spoke with the manager about his dissatisfaction with the process and resulting service. I fully understand that it cost BofA more money to service clients in-house versus having them do all of their transaction via automation. However, until they decide as a Corporation to abandon face-to-face client contact, they would be well served to do it right. This is a management issue, not a problem with the tellers themselves.

Only gave this one star, because you had to give a star. There were about twenty people in line and only 2 tellers open while there were workers just walking and visiting people. Maybe you should get behind an register and help people. Annoyed!

I do not like that I have to come into the bank to process a transaction that they would’ve charged me for over the phone… With my three kids. I also do not like seeing that same charge I was told in the branch I wouldn’t be charged for, on my bank statement. I tried calling the branch phone number and it says you have to call the 800#, because they don’t have a customer service line at this branch. Of course when I call the 800#, «we are experiencing longer wait times»… Bull shit. Now I have to go into the branch again?!! This is crap! My feed back: DOWHATYOUSAYYOUREGOINGTODOTHEFIRSTTIME!!!

Great bank. Awesome customer service. Sometimes it takes a little while because it gets busy but the staff is wonderful. Been coming here for years.

This Bank of America is one of the worst in the area. I’m not sure if its always crowded because people wait until the last minute to pay their mortgage but this particular location, even with several tellers open, has lines almost out the door. I would like to point out that there are some really cute tellers at this location(sorry just a guy thing) but I’d rather be in and out of the bank to get on with my day. SERVICE: The tellers have always been nice and helpful, so I guess my beef is more with the long lines. I understand there are times during the day where a ‘rush’ of people come in but opening more tellers would relive the congestion caused by only a few teller windows open. The one-on-one time you get with a representative but you have to wait at least 5 – 10 minutes when packed. LOCATION: This locations parking lot is always jam packed but plenty of spots to park if everybody in Elk Grove hasn’t decided to cash or deposit money at the same time you happen to show up. They added the new glass/plastic shielded wall up some now it’s protected from a potential robbery(you can never be too safe). I’m not a fan of Bank of America but I can’t help it that I have a mortgage with them so I am forced to come to this bank at least once a month. If you can do all your transactions online or mail it it, then PLEASE use that option because this bank gets crowded and hot quick! Remember that walking into this bank is never an ‘in and out’ process. You’ll spend a minute of at least 10 minutes in line.
