I recently used Cornerstone and have to say I was completely satisfied with the experience. The office staff was helpful and responsive and made what is usually a stressful situation worry free. Adriana was amazing… She went out of her way to make sure I understood some of the documents I was signing in layman’s terms!!! Too much of this process involved legalese and she never made me feel stupid(no matter how many times I asked the same question). I have referred some of my co-workers and friends to Cornerstone and have only heard good things. If you want great service and nice people, use This title company. You can’t go wrong. I usually don’t write reviews but felt compelled to openly say thanks to them!

I think our realtor had a relationship with them that was not on the up & up if you know what I’m saying because there’s no way in hell someone would ever use this place if you had the choice. They are horrendous. They took THREE(3) days to send a wire to Folsom… not Timbuktu, Folsom and had the nerve to LIE to me about it to get me off the phone. There is nothing worse in the business world than a liar. Steer clear.

Umm, be careful! They cancelled their check to us without saying anything! Yes, the bank hit us with a fee. Cornerstone said sorry and refused to pay us the cancel check fee we were charged. It has been months. They admitted it was their fault. So why won’t they pay the fee? Cheap People, if they will drop the ball on these things, DONTTRUSTTHEMWITH hundreds of thousands of dollars! You have a choice to use other title companies!

If you like really bad customer service, come here and ask for JOYCE. She will happily talk to you like the idiot she thinks you are. When I asked her to look something up for me regarding a previous sale she made it seem like she had to go out of her way to do it for me. From the get go she gave me attitude. She asked if I had anything to do with the sale so I said that my name was also on the deed. She says to me in a rude tone as if to someone stupid, «Well then that would mean you were involved with the sale.» Wow. Thanks, Captain Obvious! All I wanted was the money back that I paid towards EG Utilities(whom I called first and said they refunded the check to Cornerstone Title). When I tried to explain that I had already called EG Utilities she said that I need to talk to them instead. I told her that they had already sent my money to Cornerstone, wouldn’t that mean someone at Cornerstone should be able to look up what happened to my money? So she says to me, «Do you have any idea how many transactions we have per day?» Then I tried saying that if EG Utilities sent them the money, they should be able to look it up right? She kept talking over me. I have worked in positions requiring customer service and I believe talking over what the customer is saying is well, frowned upon. Then in the middle of me saying that if there was a monetary transaction, they should be able to look it up and she HANGSUPONME. How people like her find work boggles my mind. If this is what Cornerstone is ok having as the face of their company… well, you be the judge.
