My family has been seeing Dr. James for years. I remember seeing him back in the late 90’s when his office was by New York Pizza! Great service, they are really nice and accommodating. Although my recent back issues are on-​going I am always able to get sound treatment that makes me feel a lot better. They also take Kaiser, I’m assuming that’s specific to your plan, but it’s very affordable. There was a period where Kaiser didn’t cover and even without insurance I found the price to be very reasonable for on-​going care.

I was referred to Dr. James by a friend’s mother. I had just seen a chiropractor for a consultation last week and wanted a second opinion, as the treatment plan I was provided is out of my price range (for now, anyway).
I have been suffering from an injury that actually took place in February (8 months ago!) and I am still having pain. The original diagnosis was «acute lumbar strain» but after trying physical therapy and stretching, the healing has yet to complete. I figured its about time to try chiropractic since my spine may be the underlying location of the pain in my upper lumbar and lower thoracic regions. Dr. James did an evaluation and explained the improper healing of strained ligaments in my back. I had my first adjustment ever and he worked tense muscle in my back for a few minutes. The pain is not got, but I did feel some immediate relief. He also explained that my situation was quite common and could be taken care of in about six visits, which is a drastic contrast to the twelve visits (3 times a week for 4 weeks) plus once a week for six months that the first chiropractor I saw was telling me. That may be true, but I did not feel pressured at all when in Dr. James’s office, and he did not make my condition sound so serious as the other doctor.
My insurance currently doesn’t cover chiropractic care, so my first visit was $ 55, but the receptionist explained to me it would be $ 25 for following appointments, which, to me, is better than $ 40 for each visit.
The office is small and cozy and was not full of people, making it more intimate and less rushed, in my opinion.

Dr. James is still my chiropractor and is still the best. His new office is very pleasant.
