KFC

Stopped here to grab food on my way home Friday night 6÷10÷16 around 8pm after 10 hours of being on the road. I order an 8 piece breast and thigh mix, original. girl at drive thru window says that not only do they not have original available but that they also don’t have any breasts to sell me.
I then leave there frustrated but determined and drive over to the Meadowview location in Sacramento. I order the same thing as before, an 8 piece breast and thigh combo, the girl at the drive thru repeats order back wrong as an 8 piece breast and leg (they only had 3 and not the 4 breasts I would’ve liked, but whatever). I tell her no I’d like breasts and thighs. she says okay… we get to window, pay, leave, go all the way home and what is in our bucket, you ask? 3 breasts and 5 legs!!! Really??? So, KFC. you’re getting it wrong all over the place. poor service and unavailable menu items, never good for business. Only gave 1 star because the chicken we did get was good.

The employees are so unhappy here, they don’t greet you, read you back your order, and they take forever. (15 – 20) mins! I feel like I’m scolded when I ask for my drink cup/​receipt after ordering. Also I once watched them close earlier than operating hours stated on the door…

The service here is insanely poor. The Manager Richard has no clue how to take orders or run a busy restaurant avoid like the plague. I waited in drive thru gave my order and was told my total. I waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes and then told he didn’t have my order and unless I had cash I had to go back through the line and give my order again. When asked why he didn’t send someone thru the line to take my order again he said, «you see how busy we are??» I guess Richard’s time was more important than his customers. He also told me there was nothing he can do unless I had cash because he can’t put my order in using a card. Business Advice: when you make a customer wait you absorb the $ 14 cost and give the meal free. It is not acceptable to tell the customer to go thru the line again to give their order and wait another 20 –30 minutes.

Last week I spent $ 30 for various dinner items and ended up throwing 90% of the food away. The chicken was horribly dry, chicken strips overcooked, hot dog nuggets tasted terrible and the corn was mushy. Plus, I never got my drink. A few days later I went back and shared my disenchantment with the Manager/​Co-​owner, Richard Box, who gave me a card for a free eight piece meal, which showed good faith on his part. This evening I decided to use the card, however when I got home, all there was in the bag were eight pieces of chicken. No two side dishes and no biscuits, all which normally come with the «meal». While I was checking out they mentioned Richard wasn’t there, so when I got home I wanted to let him know what happened. (Didn’t want anything else at this point) I was persistent to say the least, trying for two hours to get through, but all the phone did was ring and ring and ring and, well… you get the big picture. Unfortunately, my Kentucky Fried Chicken days are over for the Longport Court franchise in Elk Grove which is too bad because their location was really convenient for us.

Food was ok but they need to try keeping this place little bit cleaner. When you can see how dirty this place is, thats not good.

They insisted on charging me more than the menu price because they claim the computer was updated and they didn’t get new menu boards. I don’t care about that. It’s illegal to charge more than your advertised price. The clerk and a person claiming to be a manager said they couldn’t override the computer. They finally took the overcharge out of the till and handed me cash after making me pay the computer price. I’ll be sending a photo of my receipt and menu board to the State and BBB. Don’t let them steal from you.

Went into the drive through, ordered two papa burgers, chili cheese fries and 10 wings. Papa burgers were cold, chili cheese fries were like falling out of the box, only received 8 wings, and it seemed like they just tossed everything in the bag. This is probably the 2^nd time since I’ve been upset with this place. Come on workers! Is it that hard!!! I am never ever going back here. What a waste of money. I am recommending you to not go to this one! Trust me.

How much more effort dose it take to put the hamburger patty in the center of the bun and not off to the side. Chezzz… food prep a big zero. At least the dinning area is clean.

Every single time I go here there’s something that they discourage me from getting. I’m not sure if its because they don’t like making it, or if it just requires more effort on their part. For example, I’ll order chili cheese fries and they’ll say «Are you sure you want that? It’s going to be an extra 5 minutes for something those.» They are also out of certain items a lot.

Went here this past sunday. It was slow order two buckets of original. Got one original one grilled. Went back the manager told me i ordered grilled. I told him i couldn’t find my receipt. He said that’s because we don’t give a receipt unless you ask because we are conserving resources. He then gave me someone elses receipt so i could make a complaint. Customers are a bother the cashier ignores you the manager blames you and the other employees slam chicken did i mention there is no regional manager and corporate can’t call you just send coupons. Really?

Idk why I keep coming back here. I love kfc’s food but not at this place. They said someone unplugged the fryer and they ice cream machine was broken. Over this place! I’m not even going to lie but I need to stop coming here

Every time we go here, they forget something (ie utensils, condiments, straws). Additionally, they claim not to be able to change the size of the side that comes with the KFC combo. My husband says the chicken tastes weird. I guess this is why the drive thru is always empty.
Additionally, tried a burger and fries here (KFC/A&W). The fries were burned, and the burger was dry with stale veggies. I am very disappointed.

I wish you could do no stars. I have visited this location many times and I don’t know why I went back two weeks ago, but I did. They are supposed to be FAST food. After 20 minutes, I asked why everyone else got their order and I still didn’t have mine. They told me they were out of chicken and it would be a little longer. When I asked why I wasn’t told that when I placed the order, the person said she was just told.
They are constantly out of food and take way too long to fill orders. I will drive 5+ miles away to the other KFC to get my food from now on.

Went back to this KFC for some chicken so I can feed my friends while watching the SF Giants game on October 28. My previous experience didn’t go well but this time it was better. The male behind the cash register was really nice and respectful. He addressed me properly and went over my order when the food was ready. This time the chicken was much better than the previous experience. I got the 8 piece, 6 tenders, large mash, large slaw, and 4 biscuits meal. I decided to get extra crispy in hoping it wouldn’t be soggy on the outside. When I got home it was crispy and the chicken was hotter than warm. It was an improvement from the last time.

Do not go to this KFC totally mismanaged it is giving KFC a bad name. It does and train it’s employees and is unorganized. Do not go in the drive thou at dinner time or you will be waiting a long time I have been trapped for over 30 mins and If you go in side you will see way total chaos.

IDK what it is about this particular location, but the chicken from here tastes funny to me. I’ve tried this place a couple times now and feel sick to my stomach after eating every time. I love KFC but I’m going to stay away from this location.

I really hate to not give a place a second chance however I have given this place 4 times. I was not even wanting them to knock my socks off but just get my order correct and be nice when taking my order. Not to much to ask for? Well it is for this place. The experience of the drive thru was awful and then going inside was even worse. With 4 times of bad service and my order never being correct once I will make the drive to another location further away. It really will be less time spent with all the hassle I have had with this specific location. Sorry

My local KFC location… I’ve had no issues here. I never go through the drive thru as it’s a lot quicker just walking in.
They take your order, your $$$, get your stuff, and you’re out of there. 5 minute turnaround…
The food has been hot, fresh… no concerns whatsoever. 4 stars from me for a fast food chicken joynt…

I had to try their new chicken pot pie. It was ok however the only crust was on the top. No sides or bottom crust.
