I was recommended to this shoe store by my doctor who knows my feet issues. It’s funny I’ve passed by this store many times too! I entered this store and saw that they sell other items besides dance shoes. The lady that works there was super knowledgeable. She helped me considerably. I ended up purchasing a couple pairs of shoes for line dancing or for that matter walking & dancing. Line dance shoes are basically ugly to me so I don’t wear them too often. In fact one pair is basically for inside only. These shoes aren’t cheap so I probably will have them for awhile. If you need anything like dance shoes or clothing this store is for you.

This was my daughters first pair of pointe shoes so she was very excited and eager to buy them. I searched the Sacramento area and was a little disappointed that my options for pointe shoes was limited. I came across this little gem, thankfully. The store was very cute and clean. The young lady who fitted my daughter was very sweet and gentle which was refreshing based on other reviews I had read about other dance wear stores which is why I drove 40 miles to Elk Grove. Worth the trip! Hopefully the ballet teacher approves of the fit!

I don’t live close to much in the way of dancwear stores at all, let alone anywhere that really knows how to it pointe shoes. After two excursions to SF Dancewear only to be disappointed by the results, my friends and I decided to schedule a fitting at Relevé which was only half as far away. I couldn’t be more pleased with how we were treated! Karina was a very patient, very knowledgable fitter. She didn’t hesitate to pull down as many shoes as needed for me to try, asked helpful questions about how things fit, and really knew her stock. She put me in my first pair of Russian Pointes and so far I’ve been very pleased with them! Aside from shoes, the store had a nice stock of leotards, warmups, tights etc and dance wear for styles besides ballet as well. Consider that I’m willing to drive about an hour and a half out of Grass Valley now to come here instead of the options in Sacramento and prefer it to the famous San Francisco dance wear. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

My oldest son(almost 4) recently started dance classes just down the street at Elite Studio of Dance. We asked him about a bunch of different activities(sports, swimming, tae kwon do) and the only thing he was interested in was music and dance. After his trial class when we decided we would actually sign him up we drove over here to pick up the required ballet and tap shoes. When we arrived on this Saturday at about 11:15 am there was just one employee and a couple of people shopping. I told the employee that we needed shoes and he said he would be right with me. The shop is very clean, decorated cutely and well stocked for women’s and girl’s dance apparel. They have exactly one side of a column with white shirts and black tights for men’s and boy’s ballet attire. They also carry men’s and boy’s dance shoes, but that is about the extent of what you can find here for males who dance. Prices are not cheap, but from what I understand about dance clothes, that is par for the course. I could have ordered his shoes online for cheaper, but I was concerned about fit since it has been 25+ years since I took dance classes, so I can’t remember what the proper fit is on most things. Plus we needed the shoes before next week’s class. The single employee brought out the two types of shoes we needed, but he let me put them on my son. He would answer my questions and bring out other sizes if needed, but I really sort of wished he would have felt my son’s feet in the shoes to make sure we had the proper fit. As far as I can tell we got the right shoes for him. So he is set for his dance classes for the summer. This fall we will re-evaluate his desire to continue with dance classes, but I am sure if he does he will need the next size up of shoes soon enough. That child is constantly growing like a weed. So, if that is the case I know we will return for more shoes.

About one of the only dance shops in Elk Grove, Releve(I know what that term means now, thanks to my girlfriend) is a very nice shop. We came in here looking for a leotard for her ballet class. The shop is very clean, bright, and spacious. The service was very nice, as they didn’t rush us even though we took a little longer than we planned to find the perfect outfit. Their selection isn’t as big as I had hoped, but they had enough. Good sales going on, as we got her tights for 25% off. Prices were affordable, and location was very nice. Recommended.

I’ve been here twice– once for zumba shoes and today for a birthday present. The young woman working here was very friendly, helpful and quick! I got just what I wanted and was in-and-out in less than 10 minutes(including trying on shoes!). I was very pleased with my experience.

To start, they friendly staff greet you as you walk in the door. Always ask if you need any help, if you say no, the staff let you browse without feeling any pressure. They stock a wide variety of dance and cheer gear, we have purchased for both here. Recently I had to purchase a particular tap shoe and unfortunately it did not come in the tiny size my daughter wears. The staff looked on line and called suppliers trying to locate the shoe I need and at the best price possible. I feel like they really went out of their way to make sure I was able to get the item needed. So in summery, great customer service and an awesome product line with a lot of diversity.
