Rite Aid

Nice store but the pharmacy is pretty sucky. No matter how long we give them to get prescriptions filled we always have to wait longer. This time, we left the doctor’s office, drove across town to pick up some freight, then stopped for a leisurely dinner. After that, it was about 15 minutes more to get to the store. Now, I’m out in the parking lot waiting «30 more minutes», sicker than a dog.

I stopped in here to buy some Vitamin E oil. The store is pretty average, well stocked with products and kept clean and well-​lit. I wandered around a bit, in a hurry but having a hard time finding what I wanted. I saw an employee and asked for help finding Vitamin E oil, «for your skin». First she pointed me to the vitamin isle, then stopped and said, «oh wait, oil?» and then pointed me to skin care. It wasn’t that easy to find in the skin care section but I finally found it. Surprisingly, they had two sizes of bottles — one big bottle for something like $ 2.69 and one bottle half that size for $ 2.39. ??? I really only wanted the small size but they got their extra thirty cents from me because I couldn’t stand paying the same price for half as much.
Check out was easy and the store was conveniently located near the 99. I’d stop here again if I needed personal hygiene items, snacks, drinks, magazines, or a greeting card.

Signed a Wellness card if you come here often. I come about 2 – 3 times a week on the Bruceville and Elk Grove location. They now have a new reward program call «Plenti» which is also participating stores are AT&T, Exxon mobile, Macy’s and this Rite Aide. It’s simple just sign up and start earning reward points towards items they have. I earned points quite a bit here that I use those points on sunscreens, birthday cards, lotions etc. I think that’s pretty darn cool to save and shop at the same time. Their pharmacy opens at 8am now too and they offer drive thru service. You can call ahead your prescription and it will be ready in 30 – 40 minutes. They get busy towards the end of the day so if you can try to go pick up the meds in the morning or early afternoon. They have great customer service and very knowledgeable pharmacist on site. I recommend this store and their pharmacy to my family and friends.

This is the by far the worst Pharmacy ever. I’ve been filling our families routine/​maintenance prescriptions here for over 3 years. I’ve been on the same ROUTINE dose of Thyroid for many years and it never fails each month… They don’t have enough medicine to fill my prescription! Every month!!! Which means I usually get a partial fill because I insist on it, and then I have to return for a second trip/​wait in line to get the rest. They don’t care either. I keep going back because they’re right around the corner, but I’ve had about enough. I was on autofill, which is interesting because they could certainly use that information to order meds in advance, one might think! This month, I expected my autofill and called when I was on the verge of running out. I called them on Tuesday to let them know I was going out of town Wednesday and needed to pick up my medicine. They told me I had no more refills and they would put in the request with my MD. I continued to miss my daily doses and called again on Sunday when I still hadn’t heard anything. They said my doctor refilled a few days ago but they did not have enough to fill until Monday. I fly out Monday morning at 7 am for another week. I said this was unacceptable and then they offered another partial fill. Wow. I’ve missed 5 days of thyroid again because this pharmacy sucks at stocking maintenance supplies and they can’t communicate to save their lives. At least if they would have called a few days ago, I could have picked it up somewhere else and not missed the last few days. My request to speak to a manager was not honored, so I took to Unilocal instead. The staff in the store itself are great, but I would fill your prescriptions elsewhere, especially if you actually need to take your medication.

Upset with the customer service here. I come here every single day, all of the employees know me by name and know that when I need to pick up my monthly prescription for medicine, it can’t wait to the next day. I am diabetic and I need to get my insulin when I need it. Walked up at 9:52 (supposed to close at 10 pm) and they had already locked the doors and wouldn’t even acknowledge me knocking on the door. The employees were within 5 feet of the door and didn’t even turn around to apologize and say they were closed early. They are familiar with my medical condition and wouldn’t even give me the time of day to turn their heads and acknowledge my presence. Extremely upset with the lack of customer care demonstrated by Rite Aid tonight :(

I work their weekly sale paper like a BOSS! UP rewards and BOGO offers equal huge savings on everyday items for personal care and household. Pharmacy is efficient-​always busy. Jonell, a pharmacy manager is very friendly. The cashiers here are ALWAYS polite. My favorite is Genny. I could use a little less stalking by LP while I wander the store enjoying my quiet time and seeking out new products to try.

I usually only come to rite aid for thriftys ice cream but they just remodeled their whole store and it looks nice!
They serve ice cream until they close! I love thriftys ice cream because it’s cheap and yummy!
I also get makeup there sometimes and I like their return policy! You can return whatever you want even when you open it or use some lol
Overall a good convenience store and they always advertise good deals!

While the store itself is fine, the pharmacy is the worst! They could not bother refilling my prescription correctly (mind you, they only need to count up to 3 for the packets that are already made) and when I came back to pick up the rest of my order they forgot to give me, the idiot pharmacy rep, Lorena, made me wait for over 35 minutes before telling me that the pharmacist wasn’t there to help. I am going to change my locations on where I pick up my prescriptions. They obviously do not care about their customers here after reading the other reviews.

My family and I been going to this for many years due to near home. I just had with this place!
Rite Aid Pharmacy:
The customer service is bad but as long as I get medication.
The pharmacist alway change but is is ok since I don’t need her as long as fill the medication.
The lead time they fill medication is slowest I ever seen but I let It slide unless special pain medication that I need. Last time I remember it took 6 hour to fill my medication after my teeth extraction what a pain it was.
But today I am angry … They forgot to fill mom medication, last refill was jan, 2014. All her medications are auto-​refill, it mean they fill the medication automatically so never run out. I found out they did refill the medication few days ago. I called talk to tech, she told me it was nit refillable. WTH, i talk to pharmacist, she told me it should have been refill April she will contact doctor ASAP.
I call doctor office to confirm since do not trust pharmacist, office told me they send it. I called rite aid to make sure and they told me yes. It took almost 3 days get mom medication. Each time I call, they are busy will refill soon. I think it was unexpectable for they to refill so late since the when doctor call in you should have it ready same day. I gave them full day still not refill, it took almost 3 days.
I talked customer service and want manager to contact me… still waiting!

This Rite Aid has very friendly and helpful staff who seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. It’s rare to have such nice experiences at a chain store, and they deserve credit for that!

This location is about a 3 minute walk from my work. I stop in here all the time to resupply my vitamin regimen, and pick up some MUCH needed Sudafed (allergies are the DEVIL.) The cashiers never skip a beat when welcoming me into the store each time I arrive, the pharmacy in the back has great customer service and is both quick and efficient, and the shelves are always organized.
I’ve been to some drug stores that look completely thrashed. Not this one. I’m lucky to have it so close!

Rating would be a 4 for the ice cream BUTTTT it’s a 3. The store itself is a normal Rite Aid. Prices are not that amazing especially for things that you randomly go in for. I GO SPECIFICALLY FOR THE ICE CREAM.
Get a double scope. Birthday cake or pineapple coconut.

I would have to say that it’s a 3 because the workers behind the ice cream area always seem moody. Like… I know you’re serving ice cream and it’s probably not fun but don’t make your customers feel like they are abusing your personal time.
GO for the ice cream!

I always find cute little things here that I want to buy. They have a lot selection of shampoos and conditoner. I usually go to Walgreens since its closer to where I live but when I drop by Little Caesar I usually drop by this Rite Aid too.

The reason why I go to Rite Aid? Thrifty Ice cream on a cone. I remember when ice cream cones here were way less than a dollar now its like $ 1.79 for a single scoop of ice cream. Well, I guess I’m not complaining when I go there for a quick fix of my all time favorite Rainbow Sherbet. Other then the ice cream, I don’t shop at Rite Aid much because there are always a huge line with only 1 cashier. I usually like to shop fast, in and out!

I used to shop at this Rite Aid all the time, now I don’t shop at Rite Aid anymore at all due to their lackluster deals and high prices. This Rite Aid got remodeled about a year or so ago and is way nicer now. However, on any sale items that is a great deal, expect them to run out of stock right away due to couponers wiping out all the shelves. But in any case, you can usually get a rain check but the rain check will probably expire before you find any stock in… What a waste of time! =(This place used to be great for shopping, not so much anymore. Staff turnover seems pretty high, but most staff are ok — «friendly enough.»

recently moved things around and remodeled their store. I like it a lot better. store is clean and staff is friendly. compared to the other rite aids this one doesnt give me a bad vibe walking in.

I am giving them 3 stars because I feel that their prices are really high. I needed a few things from the cosmetic department and I feel that I could have found them for a lot less at another big name store.
Not my favorite place to shop but sometimes it’s just most convenient and sometimes it’s not.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid to get ice cream drunk and I think I’ll be coming here as an old man doing the same thing.
I hope they keep the ice cream flowing for a hundred years. The irony of it all is that the workers that scoop your ice cream look absofruitly miserable doing that job why? only god knows…
Maybe because it makes your fingers all sticky or the ice cream becomes hard as clay and after awhile your good arm starts to get tired or it becomes a thank less bottom feeder job. Whatever the reason Rite Aid gods please do not take this small piece of heaven away. Technically it’s the only reason I go to rite aid aka (thrifty)…

Rite Aid is always great for cheap booze. This one is no different.
